When I found out my bestie's fiancé cheated on her the day before Valentine's Day three years ago, I came up with a brilliant idea. Send his little side piece a BIG bouquet.
Of dead flowers.
Who knew, my little jab at the side-chick would turn into a multi-million-dollar business. Things couldn't be better, right?
Wrong.
Enter my father's new wife. Stacie. She's my age and her older brother? He's a hot shot venture capital investor and when he gets wind of my little entrepreneurial success?
Let's just say, our first meeting has partnership written all over it. He surprises me in more ways than one. Especially when I find out both of us have saved our slice of cherry pie for our one and only.
I do everything in my power to tempt him to take a bite, and when he does, he can't get enough. He wastes no time letting me know, my sweet treat is his and his alone.
Only, on Valentine's Day, my business reminds me of how many so-called perfect unions end in a bouquet of dead flowers. Can this hunky first timer show me true love can last?
Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.
Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.
So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

🌈🌈THE BLURB-
✅Let us agree on one thing. THE BLURB IS HELLA CONFUSING.
✅But, don't you worry baby .I am gonna clear that up for ya!!!😘😘😘
✅Now see,
💠The H , Reid has a sister , Stacie, she is 21 year old(12 years younger than H), she has THE WORST taste in men.
💠At the start of the book , she is getting married for the 2nd time to an older man Martin.
💠Martin has a daughter , Mildred(21) with an ex-wife.
💠Yeah, so Mildred is same age as her step-mother, Stacie.
💠So, THAT is the relation between the H and h.
💠The h is STEP-NIECE of THE H.
🙄🙄🙄No thanks bud. Imma dnf this.
❗❗❗❗I DID not read "Dirty Uncle" by Alexa Riley.
⛔⛔And that's why i will NOT read this book.
💟~~~~~~~💟~~~~~~~💟~~~~~
🟨Now, keeping my judgmental ass away , let's talk about how GOOD the book is.
🟨I ACTUALLY did not read this book completely from start to finish.
🟨But i skimmed it till the end to see if there was any cheating or not.(there's not)
🟨See, the H is SUPER HOT ALPHA MALE. And he is cocky but also very gentlemanly , cause he KNOWWWWWS that his sister has a habit of changing men like underwear but he still pays for the WHOLE wedding.
🟨The h is a fiesty little thing. The H and h meet at Stacie's wedding for the first time , and they DO NOT know each other when they meet.
🟨And what shocked me to the core was-
😳😳THE h's SUPER RICH FATHER AND HER NEW STEP-MOMMY HAVE BEEN LIVING OFF OF h.
The h is one of those wiz kids who develop a software at an early age, sell it to the big companies and become a millionaire and billionaire at a VERY early age.
The h is EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT AND SMART.
But, she does NOT have an buyer who will improve her financial conditions.
After reading the 1st POV of H, i was like, "The sister is marrying into a rich family, dayyyum Martin is LOADED."
Turns out ,Martin fails EVERYTIME he invests in a business , and the house that he and his new "wife" will live in, is paid off by the h .
🟨SERIOUSLY!? What kind of father is he!?
🟨Anyways.
😑The plot of the book was a COMPLETE chaos.
🟨There was just...........too much drama happening with the business of h .
🟨And since the book is less than 200 pages, everything felt rushed.
🟨It's like..............Dani wanted us to know more about the business side of the book AND wanted to keep up the romance too, ALL within 150 pages, so she............rushed a bit.
🟨The book is absolutely gripping, but cud have been more enjoyable if it were 50 pages longer.
💚h- ~I would give a SOLID 90/100 to her, because she is everything that i like in a female MC . ~Smart. ~Sarcastic. ~Funny. SO FUNNY. ~Usually inner monologues irritate me, but her inner monologues were VERY FUNNY. ~Intelligent. ~Beautiful.
💚H- Oh man!!!! this guy is Hottie McHotterson.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🟨Steam- Come oooonnnnnnnnnn. This is DANI we are talking about!!!!! Dani Wyatt is KNOWN for steamy books!!!!
❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌BUT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE WHOLE PSEUDO-INCEST THING BROUGHT THIS RATING DOWN .
THERE IS SERIOUSLY NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BOOK.
BUT , I AM NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN MORALS AND BLAB BLAH BLAH AND DEFEND MYSELF.
BUT I AM SO SORRY THAT I ABSOLUTELY HATE HATE HAAAAATE PSEUDO-INCEST.
IT'S BAD. AND I DON'T SUPPORT IT, NOR ENCOURAGE IT.
AND SOME MIGHT SAY THAT IT'S SILLY TO RATE A BOOK JUST BECAUSE OF THIS PARTICULAR REASON, BUT I WON'T YOU GUYS, I FIND IT ABSOLUTELY icky!⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕❌❌❌❌⭕⭕⭕❌❌❌❌❗❗❗❗❗❗
⛔⛔⛔⛔Time for spoilers-⛔⛔⛔⛔
✔SURPRISING DOUBLE-VIRGIIIIIIIIIIIINS.
✔NO-cheating.
✔No-sex scene with OP.
✔Daddy Kink. Yup!!🙂*trying to control my eager smile*
✔OW/OM Drama- Now i read till Chapter 3 so up until there, there is slight OM drama, not even worth mentioning actually. Some guy at the wedding was trying to impress her, and the guy resisted when H dragged the h away. But after that i skimmed so , i dont have a clue if there is any OW/OM drama after that. But at least the book is safe.
2.8 stars. Sadly, this little novella could really use some editing. I liked it. It was short and sweet. There was an insta-love level of attraction. Theres was double virgins, an age gap, a noticeable size difference between characters, a pretty big aesthetic difference, a tiny bit of a Daddy kink (just some honorifics thrown around, and Reid acting a bit as care giver), and some dirty talk.
Unfortunately, it just felt a bit chaotic and there were a few spelling/grammatical errors that made things a little confusing. I’ve read books from this author before that I really enjoyed, and this just felt like maybe she was rushing to write this.
I liked it, but it could have been so much better if it’d gotten the attention and time it deserved before release.
SPOILER ALERT! I hate the fact that the heroine doubts herself. I hate that she’s so weak. She could have done better if she had a backbone and drop the deadweight called her father. Also, she needed to speak up and let her father and mother-in-law know how it’s going to be but nope she doesn’t do that. She has a great business but she’s too busy to open her eyes and allows a man to come in and “help”/rescue her.
Quick instalove story with two inexperienced adults. This story was a quick and sweet read with an immediate attraction that grew stronger with each moment.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I have completely finished this series and must say I pleasantly enjoyed all of them. This one, I think, is my favorite one. The characters seemed more real and the banter between the couple was spot on. Especially Milly. I loved picturing Milly’s style and her overall personality was so welcoming and comedic in a sense. Reid is basically the typical alpha hero was is obsessed with her at first sight which is to be expected. All I can say for each book in this series is that all of the couple love way too fast for my liking. I like it when a couple gives it some time and lets it play out for a bit before talk of babies and marriage. Overall, the intent is good and it was an enjoyable read.
I love a good first-time story, despite virginity being a social construct, but had trouble suspending reality with this one. Others have experienced it differently which is great. Well written, but not for me.
I have mixed feelings about this one. I like the quirky MC's but the book was pretty OTT and not in a good way. I also felt like the dirty talk was creepy. It reminded me of an old sceevy man with his young trophy wife. There were so many editing errors it took me out of the story. I mean this was not just a couple that I could overlook.
Fabulous, absolutely love this one. A nice quick short read.
Reid meets Milly at his sister's Stacie's, wedding, who is marring Milly's father, Martin. He goes up to her after guy is hitting on her and she is annoyed and pretends to be her boyfriend. After they introduce themselves, they leave the reception and head to another party down the hall. They aren't there long before they are kick out, then they find a quiet room. They start kissing, his hand slides between her legs, and he pleasures her. They head back to the reception when they are caught and chased out. Stacie finds Reid and introduces him to her now husband, Martin. When it's time to throw the bouquet and toss the garter, her father finds Milly and introduces her. Stacie tosses the bouquet and it lands right in Milly's face, but Reid doesn't go to where all the men gather for the garter, but it lands right at him, he just lifts his hand and catches it. The DJ asks them both to come up on stage, Milly tells Reid she doesn't want to go up. Everyone fades away as he puts the garter on her leg, up on stage Milly pulls Reid in and kisses him. Then she asks him if he's ready to leave so he calls his limo to come get them. Before they get back to the hotel everything comes up on Milly, Reid carries her to his room and tells her he'll take care of her. He draws her a bath and tells her to undress. He tells her he won't take advantage of her, she drunk and he'd never do that to her. He orders her some food to soak up the alcohol, it arrives before she done in the bathtub. The next morning Reid wakes and Milly isn't there, he looks around frantically for her. He finds a note tell him she'll be at breakfast, she went to her room to pack her things. After everyone gathers for breakfast, Milly tries to go her separate way, but Reid won't let her. While riding in the limo Milly confesses the things that Stacie and her father have done to her and her company. Reid convinces her to come to his company to talk to his investors. Reid has to leave Milly so he leaves her with his two assistants, they change her look, so when he shows up for the meeting he can tells she uncomfortable. He stops the meeting and asks his assistant about it, then fires them. He sends his people over to her company to gather the paperwork they need to help her with her company. They are in his plane and Milly can't believe the day she's had, she now has investors and her company will be saved. Reid takes her to the back of the plane and tells her to undress. He has red and black roses all over the room, he pleasures her. They get physical just as Valentine's Day comes in. He finds the ring he put under the pillow, and tells her they're going to have one more wedding, where he marries her. He tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him. One year later, they have Rose, she was conceived shortly after they meet. Her dad and Reid's sister, Stacie finally got their act together after some tough love from them. Her company is doing extremely well, they have an opportunity to sell it but don't. He asks her if she wants to be his Valentine, he books her the same hotel and the same room they have some celebrating to do.

His Tempting Cherry Pie, Book 4 of A Double Virgin Valentine mini-series, was about 33-year-old Reginald "Reid" Taylor Andrew, Jr, and 23-year-old Mildred "Milly" Finch, the creator and owner of GothGardens.com.
Reid and Millie met when his sister married her father, although they weren't formally introduced until after they had shared a spicy moment at the reception. But when they learned the familial connection, albeit a distant relationship, Millie temporarily pulled back from him, especially as her new stepmother took an immediate dislike to her.
Of the four books in this mini-series, this was the best by far. It had a decent amount of angst and drama, and it had a better plotline. It also had a better rollercoaster ride of twists and turns. However, both of the main characters put up with the melodrama of their respective family members way too long for it to have been acceptable. Plus, any comeuppance was done off-page, so the reader didn't get to enjoy that part of the story.
Both the MMC and the FMC were fully developed, mature, and had room for growth, but there were times when one or the other should have taken immediate action when someone slighted either of them. They were just too placid to have been real.
I only gave this a four-star rating, mainly because I hated that the author didn't show how either of the main characters dealt with their offensive family member. That should have been made available for the reader to enjoy.
MOST ANNOYING INNER DIALOGUE IVE EVER READ. SOUNDS LIKE THIS WAS WRITTEN BY A 15 YR OLD
short n spicy dual pov
s h e l v e s : age gap - 33/21 alpha instalove ott possessive virgins
k i n k s : daddy
criticism: DNF at page 59 I just can’t take a second more of Milly’s inner dialogue. I know she’s been drunk this whole time but for the love of god, i’m half way through the book and we’re still on drunk Milly?
I agree with other reviews that this isn’t Dani’s best work. Struggled to feel the chemistry between the MCs, even during the spicy parts. And the story in general felt very rushed and not very put together. Writing is cringe. Even you’re a Dani fan like me, just skip this one. I have ptsd from the words“giggle” now. God what a train wreck.
🔥 I grind myself against him, wanting to be as close as I can to his cock as his fingers find the edge of my panties.
♥︎
Fuck. When she called me Daddy, even though it was obviously by accident…damn, I nearly came in my pants.
I generally love reading Dani Wyatt’s creations, but this one didn’t really feel like a Dani Wyatt to me. The premise is a bit odd, there’s a disjointed bit of DD/lg happening, and there are a LOT of grammatical errors in the story. Entire words are wrong (one example a sentence said got instead of to etc.), a few places have doubled a word or two in a sentence (ex. you are you are), and there is even a use of the wrong your/you’re in one of the most important conversations in the story. As I’ve finished writing this review, I almost wonder if 3 stars isn’t too high of a rating, and that’s saying something as I don’t remember ever rating a Dani Wyatt lower than 4 stars before. This honestly feels like it was written by a mediocre ghostwriter and is seriously lacking in editing.
You ever start a story and think to yourself, how in the world is this going to work out or even come together. Exactly! Dani has this uncanny capability of pulling pieces so crazy that absolutely have no business even working. Like the most utterly ridiculous scenario together. Then making it work! Milly and Reid meet cute was so over the top and I was ready. I wanted to see how this turned out. You think to yourself, "no way!" But Dani gives it to you exactly how you didn't even think you wanted.
I usually like DW's stories but this one was super boring and there was zero chemistry between the MCs, also the title and the premise of the book made me think that this was going to be super steamy but there was only 1 boring af sex scene and it happened almost at the end of the story 😞

°Both virgins °Dual POV °No OW/OM drama °No separation °He's 33, she's 21 °Weak heroine °OTT alpha hero °No cheating or scenes with OP °Very mild daddy kink °Not very steamy °Epilogue: 1 year later -married with a baby
Millie and Reid meet at the wedding of his sister and her father. This story started out ok, I just couldn't like Reid all that much. He was too bitter and sees Millie and instantly goes to rescue her from a guy at the bar coming on too strong. Then he starts with the daddy stuff and it just went down from there. Millie's business is in trouble Reid wants to help because her real daddy had been taking money. They lose their V cards on a plane but again the whole daddy thing was too much. Not a prude like a little kink like the next person its just that couldn't get any emotion for these two.
Reid has been so busy being the man of his house and taking care of his sister for so long he's not really a believer in love. Milky doesn't really believe in love either especially since her business is thriving and it's based on breakups pretty much. When these two meet though its fireworks baby and time for these two to get their HEA they didn't think existed.
I’m happy to report, whatever errors were found in the earlier release of the book have been cleared up. I can happily say I only caught one in the entire thing. This was a cute story. I HATED the side characters and kinda wished to see them go down in fiery flames of disaster of their own making. But, I guess it’s okay they learn the value of hard work. Ehhh, whatever. Lol
This was pretty bad. Started out ok, but it just went downhill as the story went on. It came across as scattered at times, and I rapidly lost interest in the story. The lead-up to the sex scene at the end was super cringey and just solidified my thoughts that reading this was a waste of my time. I'm really sorry to the author, but this was not good and I do not recommend it.
Well, I have it a go with this author, and I have to say. I'm not really a fan. There was too much drama at the wedding. The whole brother/uncle in- law was just plain annoying. Then the whole mean girls thing in the office... could have done without.
Not bad if you can get pass that and the whole Daddy thing.
Milly and Reid met at a wedding: his baby sister was marrying her ageing father. Their attraction is immediate but a lot is happening in this short story. Recommended
Fantastic short read tale with Reid and Millie as the featured couple. They have an unusual meet-cute that puts them on the course to HEA. Great storyline, sweet characters, incredibly smexy NSFW scenes and a great HEA. Loved it!!!
A good read for people who are into the series recommended highly a good read but quick shaping up to be a enjoyable series must read the next one of the series
I really enjoyed this short, insta love read. The storyline was sweet and entertaining, and the characters were adorable. I loved that they were opposites but still seemed made for each other. Overall a lighthearted and easy read.
Reid and Milly don't believe in happily ever after until they meet at the over the top wedding reception of Reid's sister to Milly's Dad. They fall fast and hard but first they have to deal with Milly's Dad stealing from her company. This is an entertaining read.
I think the dad and his new wife got off too easy so did a couple of Reid’s employees.Raid is awesome and so sweet and caring. Milly is sweet and tries to help her father way more then she should .
Short, kind of crazy, sweet and lots of heat. Reid and Milly are both survivors and caretakers. Together they are an amazing team. With lots of chemistry. Love their happily ever after!
