Heat in the Snowstorm: Maddox

Rate this book
♥ Ashley How did I manage to go from previewing a mountain property for a client of mine, to falling into a frozen pond and nearly drowning? Now I’m snowed in with the smokin’ hot mountain man who saved me. Is the heat rising in here or what? ♥ Maddox All I did was go gas up my truck before the snowstorm, like I usually do. Then I met her. Now the beautiful real estate agent who was viewing the property next door is sitting in front of my fire, and we are snowed in together. She’s gorgeous and feisty and everything I never knew I wanted. But now, I want it all. ♥ ♥ ♥ This short story is a steamy Insta-Love Romance with No Cheating and as always, a Happily Ever After! ♥ ♥ ♥

This is the second book in the Mountain Men and City Girls series. This can be read as a standalone and is a short and steamy instalove story. Ashley is checking out a property for sale for a client. She meets Maddox when she stops to ask for directions. Their attraction is strong but can the city girl be happy with the mountain man?

Maddox and Ashley really heated things up considering they were in the cold, dead of winter. The book is quick and steamy and I loved the characters. Ashley's sense of humor was so funny and Maddox was irresistible. Their relationship developed quickly and in my opinion, were a perfect match for each other. I definitely recommend reading this book if you are looking for a quick, steamy read.

This short story has more detail in it than the first in this series. I like this one more than the first , but both are great short stories. You will find that this story is steamy, cute, and smutty. Definitely recommend 18+

This short story has two people who feel the connection between them as soon as they meet, throw in a frozen pond, a dog and a snowstorm and you end up with a steamy read which moves along quickly. I liked Ashley and Maddox and thought they made a good couple, they fitted together well and didn't shy away from their feelings.

Maddox and Ashley . . .

Maddox and Ashley were a perfect match. Ashley was checking property for a client when she had a fall through the ice of a frozen pond trying to save a dog who had fallen through. As if that had not been enough “adventure”, now she is snowed in with the mountain man from next door… except that now the cold doesn’t seem to be a problem!

The interaction between the two of them is humorous and their relationship was easy and natural as they got to know each other. Will they decide to make this relationship permanent? Is this the HEA they wanted?

very quick, steamy story for between books

This was a very cute, very steamy story that is a perfect pallet cleaner between series or other books. Especially if you’re into long books like me and just want something quick and dirty until you find your next read.

good read

I can’t believe she jumped into the pond in the middle of a snowstorm, well she did it for a good reason and what came out of her mouth after was pretty hilarious.

very cute

Very cute, spicy little story!! There are a number of typos that threw me off while reading, but that’s to be expected with self-published works.

DNF. I don’t know why but it reminds me of a Henry Cavill fan fiction on archive of our own called Bear in the woods.

A good quick insta love read. Ashley is a firecracker and their humor is off the charts. Perfect book to settle down with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm blanket!

If I could give it a 0 o would. Super lost. No but seriously what’s going on it’s 45 pages long. He’s in love with her in page 24 or smth I know it’s suppose to be short and insta love but bro what?
It’s not even insta love it’s delusions. Also, the writing style not really my taste I don’t like certain words used or the fact that they aren’t full on lovey dovey but they sorta are and not as a joke they seriously act like that
So just no.
