These cozy mysteries just keep getting more and more intriguing, and the danger levels in this, book 5 are extremely high, and there is nothing cozy about them. Addy is once again fighting to capture Atticus to return him to his grave for good, but she wants to save Damon, Elliot's cousin whose body the dead warlock had inhabited. All Addy's family are keeping watch over her around the clock but when a young witch is killed, she is asked by detective Logan to help him with the case and things escalate from there. Addy discovers she is not the only necromancer in town and ends up having to work with a covenant of warlocks. Harder still was persuading her coven of witches to do so as there was no love lost between warlocks and witches. To top it all there is a massive betrayal which was unexpected, however with all hands on deck a resolution to their dangerous problem is finally reached. I was on tenterhooks right through the reading of this book and I had to continue reading well into the night as I just could not put it down. I look forward to book 6 in this series with all it's beloved characters back on the scene, but mostly Addy and Spooky.

A little frustrating, but riveting
The redundancy was frustrating, but the story it self was captivating. The way the author wrote Max's insecurity was good, it'll want you to smack him. I absolutely love how Logan is there for Addy no matter what. The alliance had me giddy and in the edge of my seat.
That last chapter killed me. I screamed "WHAT?!" at the end. This wonderful author knows how to wrap everything up in a bow and then hit you a another plot twist. Though this one we kinda saw coming, well at least I did.

A wonderful cozy Witch mystery
Witches have been heard and one has been murdered. Atticus has been up to mischief he wants Damon's soul out of his body so he can fully inhabit it. I enjoyed reading this book it was a bit sad but it brought the Warlocks and Witches together. I can't wait to read the next book.

This book had my pulse rate up and some actual sweat on my brow. The story was tremendous and the truth that was brought to the surface jaw dropping.
I absolutely love this series! I only n hope that Sara Christene keeps the series going for a long while. I love all of the characters and the hope that is brought to the storyline.

This was a great read. I'm glad to see the first big bad get dealt with finally. I was a little sad about Max leaving, but he didn't seem to fit well with Addy, so I like the now open possibilities. I also really like the opening up and trust building between the witches and warlocks. Ready for the next book.

Loved it
Just a lovely book. It has been a little while since I read the last book, but it was so good I could remember it. This book just closes and the very last sentence makes me want to read the next book tomorrow. Loved it.

I do not normally like cozy mysteries. However, this series is really good. They are quick little pallet cleansers between novels. I love them. The writing is well done. The dialogue is realistic and not super corny. The stories are engaging and entertaining. I can’t wait to start book number 6!

Now this is what I’m talking about! Max and his weird energy is finally gone, Logan is finally moving in on Addy, and Atticus is gone. I was also hopeful about Damon and Elliot becoming a part of the friend circle and it looks to be that way. This series is incredibly entertaining!

Wow, I’ve not had an option to review for a bit due to some error so for the Author, awesome series really enjoying this Witchy mystery. Plenty of magical action with a bit of romance thrown in exactly what I love. Highly recommend

Another great book. I wish they were longer. Max is a idiot! But I knew that from the start. He was basically just a road block.

They are getting better but again still leave so much off the page. It’s crazy this series could’ve been really good if they just bothered to say all the unsaid things.

Addy can't catch a break in the love department nor with hexes either. I love this author's writing style, it's so smooth and seamless.

I do enjoy reading these books. I like the characters. It's pretty much like watching the TV series charmed which is warlocks working together police detective same exact storyline.
