Bodie thought his homework was done when he graduated from college, but no such luck. His new assignment: prove to his dad he can handle clients by babysitting a wild NFL player in the off season.
Colby is a handful for any agent and he can’t stay out of the press, for all the wrong reasons.
Forced to stay in his agent’s summer home under the watchful eye of a young innocent ex-hockey player, Colby will seek any and all thrills available, even if that thrill comes in the form of corrupting a certain shy jock…
This book is best described as sex-on-a-stick. Pure unadulterated hot, steamy, sex. It’s also light-hearted, fun, and sweet. It’s my first Billie Bloom novel, and I’m sure I’ll be back for more when I’m in need of an upbeat story.
Colby is a star quarterback and a wild partying playboy in need of some babysitting. Enter Bodie, the safe, compliant, son of Colby’s agent. He identifies as graysexual, doesn’t party, doesn’t do anything remotely unexpected of him. Thanks impart to his overbearing and demanding father. Who has tasked Bodie with keeping Colby out of the limelight for a few weeks.
As these complete opposites collide (which was unavoidable with hurricane Colby orbiting around), they discover that their passion goes beyond the bedroom. And the ride is pretty sweet. They both change the other, helping each other to realize what is missing from their life. Watching them find themselves was really sweet.
No rating DNF at 6%. This book was not at all like the other two. One of the MC‘s is 26 but acts like he’s 18. The writing felt very rushed and there were so many grammar errors within the first chapter. It almost felt like the author was rushing to write this. I enjoyed the first book in the series but not this one.
Before I’m going to get my little opinion on this book. I want to say that I hope Jason gets a book because I’m curious and also Calvin Colby brother im curious about him. I keep thinking that he was a girl but not his transgender and became a boy.
I’m real curious about that and what went on between them too. Not only that what’s up with him and Ava.
But anyways, Bodie was quick to give in to Colby lol. You can tell that Colby easily got what he wanted with him. But at least it show that Bodie did want something but it had to be the right person and why I feel like I remember Jason from one of them books for some reason.
I was glad that Jason didn’t become offended by all the guys being gay as Bodie dad seem like he was in the beginning. I knew that he figured out that something was going on between them two “Colby and Bodie” they couldn’t hide much from him. But I was glad when he finally became supportive of their relationship. Because I was starting not to like him because of how he talked to his son.
I liked the idea of this but the story seemed to skip a lot and the timeline was confusing.
I'd have liked to see the reaction to Colby coming out because they made such a big deal about it through the whole book but then it's essentially a complete non event. Colby miraculously bounces back from losing his Grandma and the relationship with his brother is dropped as fast as its mentioned. What happens to Bodie's job?? The fear throughout was his dad firing him, but all of a sudden it's all peachy?
Also, the last chapter just seemed like it had been stuck on the end to get the book finished. Is it supposed to be an epilogue, if so how long after, or is it supposed to be immediately after the previous chapter?? So confusing!
Definitely would have rated higher if the story didn't miss big chunks out.

This one was a little rough for me. There were a lot of grammar errors in this one. I usually don't pay much attention to them, but there were so many in just the first portion that it was hard to not take notice of them.
I'm not sure I was a fan of Brodie at the beginning. He came off really stuck up. Colby wasn't so bad though. He was the funny, jokey guy who just wanted to have a good time.
My biggest problem with this book was it was so very rushed. The story felt like it was missing rather large chunks from it. It didn't flow as easily as it should've.
Overall, it was a cute series, but this wasn't my favorite.
Bodie Biachi feels nothing sexual towards anybody until he has to look after his father's troublesome client- Quarter Back Colby Jones aka "the beast"! at their cabin alone...
Colby Jones is a wild player extraordinaire, he will hook up with male or female or both at the same time just to get that rush while intoxicated- that is until he meets Bodie Biachi sober.....
They have a good dynamic from the start with Colby trying to seduce and entice Bodie with his flirtations and charm and Bodie trying to ignore the attraction that he cannot understand... as he is gray sexual...
"Colby Jones, from the moment I first met you. I knew you were a damn fool."
Their banter is so sweet and flirtatious and a romance is inevitable between them but Colby must stay out of trouble and straight in the eyes of the public.... Bodie's father is homophobic or so he thinks...
Colby only does hook-ups not relationships, especially no relationships with guys so will he end up breaking Bodie's heart?
"Then you tricked me into loving your foolish ass."
An incident where Colby will need Bodie the most will determine that theory when Bodie tries to protect his heart....
Does Colby want him as a boyfriend or will society and his career stand in the way?
I really enjoyed this series by Billie Bloom and will gladly recommend it!.

Great romance, all in dicoveries for the two main characters. It's a very good romance about discovering oneself and one's sexual orientation. Bodie is Colby's agent for the summerand he must guide him and help him to protect his reputation. The latter tends to be into a lot of sexual and alcoholic excesses, and Bodie has never had any sexual attraction or attraction in his entire life. Their story is sweet as Colby will try to be tricky to teach Bodie what he might have, but it's also steamy and with a (light) look at sports and a coming out approach for a NFL's star. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This is book three of the First Times series and the man characters are Bodie Biachi, who is doing an online MBA as well as studying for his agents licence, all to work for his father’s company and has now been asked to babysit one of his dad’s biggest client’s, wild NFL quarterback Colby ‘The Beast’ Jones, before he gets dropped by loads of sponsors due to his irresponsible behaviour. Bodie has only just finished college and should be out celebrating with his friends, but instead has to drive to his dad’s summer house to spend the off season babysitting and studying. Bodie is an innocent ex-hockey player, who has never even been on a date with anyone before. Now he has to look after a stud who loves threesomes and getting his kit out in public, as well as drinking and even possibly taking drugs! Not the sort of look his father can get loads of endorsements for. Unfortunately, Bodie soon finds his graysexual lack of interest in sex or attraction to others, suddenly broken completely by Colby, as his body responds for the first time! It is graphic and steamy in parts, so be warned! Colby sees this as a way of playing dirty with Bodie and continuing to have fun, doing something he may never have really done one on one, but has plenty of practice with, from sleeping with couples and enjoying both males and females. He has a few weeks until he has to report to training camp and wants to have a few thrills along the way. Corrupting an innocent jock, could be just what he needs to while away the time at his agent’s holiday home. Bodie soon finds himself in some embarrassing and very unusual situations, with someone his body definitely reacts to. How far he should go with those reactions is severely tempered by the fact his father would be really disappointed in him and maybe even fire him before he can even start! I loved how Bodie had to try and temper his unfamiliar reactions to Colby, whilst Colby started to actually behave himself and stopped drinking every day. Colby takes Bodie through a load of first times in the bedroom and with his sexual experiences. Feelings between the two start to get serious, but Colby can’t have a relationship openly with a man without possibly losing a load of sponsors and endorsements! This makes life difficult for both of them as things started to develop between them, but they are soon split by work and public pressure. I loved the ending and even Bodie’s dad’s part in that. Lots of firsts and it wasn’t only Bodie that was living through them all. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
It just took the right person to jumpstart his body and his heart
Opposites attract is the perfect definition for this book, because Bodie and Colby couldn't be more different. Bodie does exactly what his father expects of him at all times and has never felt the need for a relationship, nor has he ever been attracted to anyone before. All that changes the minute he sees the naked Colby getting out of his pool (but to be fair, Colby has never missed a chance to get his kit off). Honestly, I didn't like Colby at all in the beginning because he was the epitome of a jock who had the world at this feet and behaved so badly. His behaviour to Bodie set my teeth on edge because he took one look at the reserved quiet man and made it his mission to make him feel uncomfortable, but as the story unfolded I started to love him. Clever Billie never disappoints me, always making the bad boys loveable eventually. Bodie was a sweetheart and watching him come alive was beautiful. One look at Colby and he was hooked, his body reacting to another person for the first time ever. Chaos Colby turned his life upside down, making him rethink everything he ever knew about himself. While this book was ostensibly about Bodie's first times (and there were a lot of them!), Colby was also experiencing lots of firsts too. Bodie was open and innocent but Colby was actually vulnerable as well because he'd never had feelings for anyone, let alone had a relationship or fallen in love. Watching them give their hearts to each other was beautiful and I loved the ending.
This book is the conclusion of the series. As the other ones it’s cute, funny and entertaining, I’ve really appreciated those stories, all the characters were endearing, their banter and comeback either really funny or just plain sweet.
Colby is hurricane given human form. Where he goes, trouble will follow. As a really high profile star quarterback he’s already under the limelight a lot, on top of that he loves to party. And party hard. Maybe too hard ? Sex, football and alcohol is his sex, drugs and rock n’ roll. Not much seems to bother him.
Bodie is essentially safely existing. He doesn’t really know how to let go and it may be his father’s fault, always pressing him to be perfect and obedient as crippled Bodie’s ability to just be. He’s under a lot of pressure between work and studying, pressure he again didn’t necessarily chose for himself.
When those two meet it’s two different currents clashing together. Their outlook on life are completely different. One is easy going the other high strung. One has a sense of responsibility a mile long, the other is immature and careless. They learn a lot from each other by being together and it’s seamless, it happens naturally.
The two finding not only themselves but each other was really sweet. I really liked their dynamic and the little details here and there of more depth in their respective feelings than they were letting on.
Bodie and Colby - where to begin. I suppose at the beginning, which was rocky for me. Colby annoyed me to no end at the start - all freakishly high energy and no filter mouth. I was nervous about if I was going to like this story but I'm glad I stuck with it because it totally worked for me. Billie Bloom did what I didn't think was possible and made me fall for Colby right alongside Bodie.
Colby is a pro QB who does whatever he wants whenever he wants. Bodie is a serious young adult who is working to get an expedited MBA while working for his father's sports agency trying to prove himself. The two come together when Colby gets himself into too much media trouble and has to go chill at Bodie's father's summer home with Bodie there to babysit him. And he truly does have to babysit him - he's worse than a child at first! I would have punched him if I were Bodie. But slowly, Colby wins Bodie over like an overeager puppy who appreciates the fact that Bodie sees him as a person, not a QB.
My absolute favorite part to this story is Bodie's sexuality. I love the unique queer representation as any type of asexuality is rare to find covered in romance novels. I loved the way it was showcased here, and of course being a romance novel, the way that Bodie finds himself attracted to someone for the first time in his life. It's actually quite swoony and endearing to read his first time discoveries.
Bodie's dad is a loser throughout the entire book with a quick about face at the end - that's the only part of the story that didn't flow for me. I loved the ending (minus Bodie's dad's part in it) and the leap that Colby was willing to make for Bodie.
A 4/5 star read for me - only removing 1 star for Bodie's moron dad and his too-quick for me redemption. I recommend this book!.

I’m not a huge fan of college romance but I liked the first book in the serie so I thought why not.
Overall it was good but I didn’t think they had a strong enough connection at the beginning to explain the rest of their story. I didn’t feel like they were crazy enough about each other to risk their career like that. It’s more like it goes from “they can’t stand each other/ have lots of sex anyway/ are friendly” to “baby I need you to fly to me right now to comfort me” It was missing some development
Also I thought the QB was quite pushy in the first part, regarding s*x especially since the other guy was graysexual.
Some things were a bit confusing (the last chapter doesn’t tell us anything about their future even though we know it’s later) and lots of drama that were resolved very easily which was almost disappointing. I don’t like dark themes but every problem they face disappear by magic. Even when the guy lose his grandma it’s such a big shock that he needs his BF right away but then he seems to heal immediately from it.
Also they go from condom to bare without any talk which didn’t make any sense. One is a virgin but the other one had a threesome with some strangers just when before they met…

I kept reading this book wondering if it was going to get better...I guess the story was fine, but the rep felt really not right. Asexuality is a spectrum, and I think it's often written as sex repulsed asexuality or zero sex drive asexuality, but there are asexual people who aren't sexually attracted to other people who are horny...and this book just seemed to jumble that all up. So, Bodie is supposed to be graysexual, but he's written more like he's demisexual because he never has pants feels, but once he meets Colby, he's horny AF. Except that all that horniness happens when he sees Colby, so that doesn't track for demisexuality either. And he's aroused because of Colby, not because he's horny or because of stimuli, if that makes sense, so okay graysexual makes more sense than asexual in that case, but IDK. His desire for sex doesn't fluctuate once he meets Colby, it seems to be driven by his attraction to Colby...doesn't feel like great rep. Also, Colby is not super understanding of Bodie's explanation of his aceness, he mostly bides his time until he can get what he wants... They were sweet to each other, but it didn't hit right.
Bodie is stuck babysitting his fathers million dollar QB If Colby the original bad boy can't keep his self out of trouble with outrageous sexcapades and partying which ends up all over the internet he could end up in rehab or without more million dollar indorsements so its off to upstate boring New York were his Agents son is waiting. Bodie could be spending his last days of college hanging with his hockey friends instead hes now stuck in his fathers cabin with a sex maniac he doesn't now how to handle Colby when it comes to sex he's clueless dosen't even know what he wants or who he wants but Colby seems to be pulling out all the stops to get his attention. Colby is driving and he dosen't understand why he dosen't do relationships but something about Bodie makes him want more then a bunch of meaningless one-night stands.
Bodie and Colby are a fun couple they have that opposite's attract quality with one wild the other more responsible they balance each other out. I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Another enjoyable read in this series, I'll have to find time to read book 2 now. I liked both of the MCs, Colby was a handful, but he had much more substance to him once he met Bodie and started to have a look at the way his life was panning out. Bodie was sure he was greysexual until he meets Colby and then he doesn't know what to think. I loved the way he went with his feelings rather than over-analysing this and explored with Colby the physical side of their relationship. I liked that they were both thrown by their feelings for the other and that Bodie learnt to stand up to his dad, while Colby learnt what was important to him in the long run. I didn't like Bodie's dad at all, even when he comes round at the end, for me this was just a bit too convenient and it didn't change my feelings for him at all. Another sexy fun read.

We got a glimpse of Bodie in “Mr. Grumpy Pants,” and I’m glad we caught up with him post-graduation interning for his father’s sports agent firm. He gets put on babysitting duty for football bad boy Colby Jones. Of course, the older quarterback pushes straight-laced Bodie in all the right ways until he snaps. How much will their desires mess with Bodie’s future as an agent and Colby’s football stardom…?
I always love how Billie puts in different characters like bi, trans, and graysexual (a new one for me) in such a casual way without making their sexuality their whole identity. Of course, the story is effortlessly funny as hell. It was bittersweet to sneak a peek of some of the previous characters as well.
Bad boys don't just appear from nowhere. Bodie, went through a lot in his attempt to please his Dad. His first job as an intern in his Dad's sports agency is to babysit Colby. Colby is a NFL QB with a large ego to go along with his personality. He has few filters and can't seem to stay out of trouble. As a first job, Bodie is being thrown into the deep end. Colby, doesn't appear to have a lick of sense thinking that since he works hard, he can play hard too. Can Bodie contain Colby and keep him out of trouble? Will Bodie finally step his toe in the wild side? Can Colby slow down and be less outrageous? Can Colby, find himself? Fun story. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Idk, nothing about this book worked for me. It's a smut fest with minimal plot.
There's absolutely no narrative tension. You think something will be a problem or a key plot point and then the issue is conveniently dropped or everything is resolved comically easily and in the most Hallmark movie perfect ways. The way sexuality is treated in this book is just bizarre. The characters are supremely flat and change personality traits willy-nilly to suit the narrative. And, the writing is not great, with a ton of telling rather than showing, especially in the beginning.
I couldn't even really appreciate the fluff, because I just didn't believe it or care about the MCs.
On a generous day I might give this 2 stars, but I guess that's not this day.
In a process that somewhat mirrored Colby and Bodie's relationship, I dove slowly into this at first, but then I got hooked deeper and deeper as the reading progressed. This story was not only fun and sexy, but also had depth and it was so... Hopeful. I also really appreciated the tackling of a topic so close to my heart as asexuality in its many shades. That, and the aspect of being queer and out in the sports environment. I feel that books are doing a decent job at approaching the subject and, hopefully sooner rather than later, more media will follow, which will (again, hopefully) blow the conversation wide open in the real world.
I'll definitely be coming back for more Billie Bloom content.
Billie Bloom writes lovely, sensitive romances between men who are often sports stars. This time we have a very sensitive young man beginning work with his father, a sports agent. The QB Colby is a client who is in constant trouble because of his antics with nakedness and alcohol. Bodie is assigned to keep him out of trouble, but sex suddenly erupts! The book is funny and sweet, as the two discover love and great sex. Billie also teaches us about the variety of ways in which people experience sexual attraction (or not).

I always enjoy characters who are totally opposites and find they are completely compatible. Complement one another and full of partner energy. Poor Bodie didn't think he'd survive being the babysitter of a quarterback, but he had to do it or prove his father right. Colby was indeed a handful. Complete disaster for the waiting public. Best of luck to anyone who was stuck with the broom and dustpan, trailing behind him in clean-up mode.
First impressions are lasting and these two were hot together.

I loved bad boy QB Colby and his pursuit of his summer babysitter Bodie. Somehow Bodie is supposed to keep Colby out of trouble when he’s a walking talking scandal with seduction seeping from his pores and -hello- he can’t keep his clothes on. Colby grows from the playboy living for the good times that land him in tabloids to coming out so he can settle down. There’s not too much football despite our MC being a QB in a relationship with his agent’s son. Me Against the QB is quick and steamy and I liked all the steamy shenanigans Colby gets up to with Bodie.

I initially felt kind of bad for Bodie not ever having a crush or intimate feelings for anyone. Colby is way beyond “player” status and likes doing whatever feels good. It was a little sad when he realizes how long it has been since he was sober while even just kissing someone. Colby loosens Bodie up and Bodie grounds Colby. I like Grams letting Colby know exactly how she felt about Bodie. I liked Angelo showing a very different side by the end. I wish we had been given more of Calvin’s story. And I wish Colby and Bodie had reversed just once!.

Contains: Stereotype professionnal jock with public indecency (bi?), an intern agent who is suppose to babysit. (Gray, very rare, unique and well writing), HEA.
I loved this book. I was entertained from page 1. The gray spectrum was new-ish to me. They are less seen in book and is kinda refreshing. I enjoye the mc discover he can actually have seggsual feeling. I love seeing the jock stereotyping falling apart. I was suspicious all book long about the dad. Seriously this book keep me on my toes all day.
I thought that this was a great book. I really liked Bodie and Colby together with their great connection and chemistry. These two are opposites but they are equal each other perfectly. There is a lot of steam and comedy and I think that made this series conclusion all the better. I can't wait to see what Billie has in store for us! I would recommend this book, this series, and Billie as a fantastic author.

It took a little while for me to see Colby’s charm– he has very little in the way of boundaries, but he’s also super good natured, caring, and brave. Bodie is more responsible and buttoned up, to a fault, almost, and watching the two of them influence each other toward a more balanced equilibrium is a rewarding experience. There’s plenty of heat here and some sweetly emotional moments as well, plus an over-the-top Colby-style HEA. Overall, an enjoyable read.

I put off reading this book because I wasn’t in the mood to read college sports book. After reading how Colby was a party quarterback boinking anything available, I almost didn’t finish it. But after a few chapters I discovered the connection that Bodie and Colby had and kept on reading. Next thing I know, I was done! I loved the banter both characters have and of course the sexy times too. I’ve read other books in this series and enjoyed it as much as the others.

I loved this story! I thought Colby was hilarious and I just loved his personality and felt like he was so good for Bodie! My heart went out to Bodie! This had a great storyline with amazing characters and keeps you interested from the beginning. I hope some of the other characters get stories! A very fun, sweet, and steamy read that I would definitely recommend!.

I was a little unsure at the start of the book but this was such a great read! I love when bad boys learn the error of their ways! Bodie was such a great character evolution but his dad was the real winner! Love is love! Mwah! Everyone should read this!.

I have loved all the books in this world so far and this one was probably my favorite. It took it a bit to be okay with the way Colby thought on having sex with men, but in the end it all came together for one really great story. It's well written and has such wonderful characters, can't wait for the next one to come out.
