The new guy in town is a wolf and a scorching hot single daddy—and he needs me. His three pups need a nurse and a nanny … and I can be both. To tell you the truth, I can use a little distraction from my stalker ex. So I take the hot wolf daddy up on his offer and look after his babies.
The other nurses weren’t joking when they said he is a catch, but nothing can ever happen. It would be absolutely inappropriate and I am a professional. Plus, I’m totally done with guys and want to be by myself for a while. Not to mention that I don’t want to burden him and his babies with my stalker ex.
There are so many reasons against it … and yet how can I resist the heat coming off of him? He tells me that he’s been wild for too long and can’t keep to human norms… And deep down, I don’t want him to keep to any sort of norm. Because I have this fantasy that keeps popping into my head:
To bring him to the nearest storage closet for a good time … and much more.

H- Don h- Brooklyn So let’s start with the obvious: the synopsis says Don has 3 pups. WRONG he has 2- Michael & Alex. It also said that Brooklyn was his nanny. WRONG- yes he was looking for a nanny to take care of his 2 pups but Brooklyn was not a nanny. She was the nurse he instantly felt a connection with & was able to make Alex & Michael shift to humans. I also didn’t like that’s the narrator pov it just feels a disconnect at times when you are reading Don & Brooklyns thoughts then you start reading them actually saying their name.. I don’t like it. Don has been a wolf for 2 decades & he has 2 pups where his Mate passed away (I thinking giving birth to them) he was found & made him shift to human. Being that he was a wolf for 2 decades his memory was very hazy. His pups couldn’t shift to human so they were trying everything to get the pups to turn to human but nothing worked til Brooklyn came into the picture & she got the pups to turn to humans. Brooklyn just ended her toxic relationship where the wolf (kale) dumped her after she found out he was cheating. Her dad is a wolf but it looks like her mom was human. Her dad didn’t pass the wolf blood to her. So the kids love her & after they went on one date she decide to be the nanny on the off days she is not working at the clinic. I feel like there was a lot of mental thoughts but it really wasn’t since it wasn’t their pov (yes that really annoys me)
For such a short story it was really slow pace. At 59% Don is still figuring out why he feels this way abt Brooklyn… at this time he was still looking for a nanny.
At the end they mated but nothing else really was resolved. Her dad was infatuated with Kale where he would force her to be with him even though she told him she doesn’t love him. I just feel if you are going to bring someone into the story just to have an interaction ONCE then don’t do it.. cause that was just stupid. Story was alright.
I don’t think I can get past the fact that when he was stuck as a wolf humped and made pups with a wolf with no human brain. He may have forgotten how to turn but that didn’t mean he should be screwing actual animals with no human thoughts. Gross. That’s a line you don’t cross in paranormal romances. If two shifters, shift in their animal form and make love that’s one thing because they both are also human but this was basically beastiality.
I thought the whole idea of this book was really cool that that the wife was a full wolf and him being half wolf means that their babies were born wolves! The descriptions of the pups were so cute!
What I liked:
-the idea of the story wolf pups that have to learn to change back to human babies.
- the bond between Don (dad) & Brooklyn (nurse)
-The mystery behind Dons memories
What I didn’t like:
-Too short
-Kinda confusing at times when reading there are lots of gaps
-Wanted more in depth information about the goblins & treasure and what happened in the past
-Didn’t feel like anything was resolved at the end.
I loved this story, you have a mystery man who used to live in Kaldron many years ago but cannot remember his past. He has been cursed to remain in his work shape but with the help of his new friends he shifts back to a man but his two sons are still wolf pups. In steps Brooklyn who helps Don and his pups. The characters are well written and this book was easy to read and follow. I enjoyed it very much and would love to read more about these characters and this town. I would recommend this book. I received an arc and the views and opinions are my own.
I picked up this book to read because I was intrigued by the story line. I mean shifters, wolves, babies, goblins and treasure? Who doesn't want to read about that?! The author has a good foundation but there needs to be more development of the story and the characters There are too many gaps in the story. Tell me more about the treasure and the goblins. What happened to the pack in the past. There are so many unanswered questions!
The storyline was interesting but there are some big chunks missing to make it flow. I don’t like it when there are unanswered questions and the ending just seemed rushed. There’s a possibility that since this is book 3 and I didn’t read 1 & 2 that the answers are in them but I prefer series where each can stand alone.
I am used to these books being very alpha and protective of their mates. The story was Very vague Of to the background of The city and what brook And her father Had to do with it.I thought the story could concentrate more of brook In dawn And the children But it Left me hanging.
Well written story and well developed characters! I love the way all the books in this series weave together! The people are so intertwined! You really need to read these in order for the best experience!
Don andBrook are another great match and the twins are great ama little disappointed that Brooks story of royalty wasn't told by Brook as implied oh well still a great read
Although too short - aren't they always? Wanting MORE is a good/bad thing. Means the story was a REALLY good read but now it's done. GOOD THING is in a series 🥳 Thank you for your time, talent and the stories!
There’s not actually a lot happening in this book. Guy comes to town with some babies, meets a nurse at the local clinic, beats up her stocker ex, and that’s about it. The wolf part’s not really central to the plot.
A wolf shifter stuck as wolf for twenty years loses his wolf mate after she gives birth he must find help or loose sons! HR finds love! Adults only due to explicit sexual content!
Obviously Brooklyn's father was brainwashed by her ex. I am glad Kale got what was coming to him. Once Don realized who Brook was to him, it was all cards like n deck.
Same here with the same author..liked the idea behind the story but it the was no plot and the heroine jumped right to having sex with the hero the first day they met..not my cup of tea.
