Evan James thought he’d found the woman of his dreams in a wolf shifter pack in Virginia, but when the alpha is killed in a coup, the new alpha decides to hold his niece—Evan’s potential mate—hostage. In order to free Aletris, Evan will have to betray his home pack and all of the Amazing Adventures Safari Park shifters. What will happen to Aletris if Evan can’t go through with the alpha’s plan to take over the park?

When Lark Phillips takes her niece to the safari park for a fun afternoon, she tries to get them on a VIP tour even though they don’t have tickets. One of the most handsome guys she’s ever met offers to take her and her pint-sized niece for a personal tour, and Lark’s pretty sure she’s died and gone to heaven. Evan is amazing, and she hates that she has to leave to take her niece home. She can’t wait to spend time with the sexy guy and get to know more about him.

In desperation, Evan goes to his alpha for help, and together they come up with a way to get Aletris out of harm’s way and protect the park. Evan only wants to be with Lark, but he can’t abandon Aletris, who’s waiting to be rescued. One way or another, Evan will make good on his promise to free the female wolf, but he’s not willing to give up his soulmate in the process. Can he save Aletris and keep Lark safe, or will he lose everything?

She did it again. I love so many of her series, and this were zoo series is no different, except its special in its own way. I love the fact that the shifters of all kinds live together. They protect themselves as one big family yet their individual in the way of their specific breeds. Evan is a wolf shifter, still young but ready to find a mate and settle down. Four months away from his pack and it did not turn out the way he planned, the only thing that happened was he brought danger to his pack and to the zoo. Of course he did not do it on purpose, it is the greed of an alpha that may bring danger to everyone. With that on his mind Evan returns to the zoo, but he did not have such a bad day. The soulmate of his heart was at the zoo his first day back, she was human, but she was the one. Lark had decided to take her niece to the zoo, just a normal day with a not so normal ending. She did not understand her feelings for Evan, how could they be so strong after just meeting him. One thing about Lark, she hated secrets. And Evan had one big one. A secret that now has put both Lark and Evan in danger. Can Lark ever forgive Evan for his lie? Can she live with knowing he’s a shifter and her life would change forever? I loved this book, and I am very excited for the next book.

first of all this book looks GAY AF.
However that wolf looks cute as shitttt. i read that book expecting a zoophile fanfiction of a PACKED man having rough as SECKS with a nice wolfy. And i was kind of disappointed by how it turned out. with this shape shifting bullshit idk tho i was high on heroin when i read the book in one night and the only thing i can remember is throwing up into the book at page 69 the rest is pretty blurry and lame. So anyways my dog shat on my carpet about two weeks later for the fourth time and he keeps getting away with it and thats when i said. NOPE thats enough. i will no longer look for animal pornbooks on the internet. and that was when i started to browse 4chan for some weird horsecockfurryinterracialporn. so fast forward a while and i finally was able to feel good about beheading my chickens in the backyard again before making fire ass chicken vegetable soup out of them. so nahhh. this isnt something you want when you want hardcore ass bungering ass lukukumbing ass PORN. so 1 star from me.
Btw. you should make a movie series from these books with the exact cover 👍

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Evan is the thirteenth book in the ‘’were zoo’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Evan is a wolf shifter that changed packs to find a mate. When it ends up in danger, he returns home to the safari park. When Lark takes her niece to the zoo she doesn’t expect to find love.
The chemistry between Evan and Lark is clear to see and I liked them together.
I thought Rayanne was adorable!
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Evan started out really impatient wanting 2 find his soul mate or at least sum one close as possible 2 it but when he went 2 another place he knew sumthing wasn't quite rt. When everything went 2 hell there he had 2 get back home but he was being blackmailed. Can he keep a woman safe after everything that's going on? By accident he he finds his soulmate in a off beat chance. But danger lurks everywhere by this psycho. Can he keep his mate safe along with his new friend? It was really good and kept me wondering what happened next, etc.

Evan by RE Butler 11/14 & 15 5 stars
Holy cow, there are some intense moments for Evan and Lark. The bad guy is really bad, as in a total nutso kind of way. When Evan and Lark are faced with his thugs, I didn’t blame Lark for her reaction. Evan’s plan to make her happy was sweet but I liked that Lark had found her inner strength by then. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next book brings.

Awesome!!

Loved it, Evan found his mate, but at a cost. Lark found love but didn't know that the man she loved was a wolf shifter. Sometimes it's good to listen and follow ur heart. And that is what Evan did, but something went wrong and now they are in a battle with a tyrant who doesn't take no for an answer...so looking forward to the next book in this series....big fan as always Winzie19🤗💞.

Love this seriez

Evan gave up on finding g his soul mate and went to find a mate in another pack. That pack was betrayed. There was a takeover. Evan is forced to try to betray his family and pack. On his first day back he meets his mats. Lark is at the zoo with her niece. They meet Evan by accident. There is a very dangerous situation The action is great!! The cliff hanger is annoying!!

I love you RE!

I do. You get me wrapped up in the Safari world and I never want to leave. Thank you for sharing your ability with us. Now I have to go make sad faces knowing you've left me with yet an other time delay for Requiems book. I think I know where you are going with it but I will be waiting longingly until then.

I love shifters!

A human female brings her niece to the safari park to see the eagle and other birds. The aviary is closed due to an injured bird that was brought in the night before. A wolf shifter smells his soulmate and tracks her down. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens to everyone. Twists and turns, as well as some fights.

I so enjoy this series! It is always just enough love, action, and intimacy for a rainy afternoon. I will say Lark did annoy me briefly but, she did make up for it. I am very excited to read the next book in this series already! A good read.😍

This book was great and fell nicely in line with the others that came before it. I loved the aspect of finding human soulmates for the shifters in the park.

This was okay.

Unfortunately R.E. Butler did not really blow me away or intrigue me much with this book. While well paced, writing was good, story-line was good & I loved being back with the wolves, especially Joss. But I found the main characters to be very childish, selfish & entitled. I could not warm to either Lark or Evan, which is odd because I LOVE Auden. I also think the story-line could have been a bit better. But while there was nothing really bad about the book, it wasn't good either. Just okay.

This book is about Evan, Auden's little brother finding his soulmate. Evan has been impatient to find his mate & decided to go visit another pack to have an arranged mating. He finds a female wolf there that he likes as a friend & almost mates with her. But before he pulls out, the alpha of that pack is murdered by an insane alpha wannabe, who was also the uncle of the female wolf Evan was going to mate. He uses the female as leverage, to get Evan to go back to the park & betray his pack, giving up Joss & letting his men into the park to take over, killing anyone in his way.

When Evan gets back to the park, he tells Joss & the alphas what is going on & they come up with a plan. While waiting to enact the plan, Evan finds his soulmate Lark in the park with her niece. He takes them on a private tour & them bonding.

The plan goes well & the wannabe evil alpha is given a warning to go away. The female wolf was rescued as well. But the evil alpha sends some of his men to kill Evan when he was driving with Lark. He had to tell her the truth & then shift in front of her, to kill all their attackers. Evan went feral in his protection of Lark & even though he was outnumbered, he killed all the bad wolves.

Lark did not handle the reveal very well. Being really angry at Evan for keeping this secret. While she was not allowed to leave the park now that she knows, she refused to see Evan. Evan of course was battling his wolf & desperately wanting to see Lark. He eventually talks to her but she still wants nothing to do with him and is even more angry now that she was not allowed to leave and go home.

The female wolf Evan was going to mate with, speaks to Lark about everything that has happened & the way of the wolves. It helps Lark understand everything better. Evan sneaks into Larks room and sneaks her out of the den to the topside kitchen, with the purpose of getting her out of the park & her home. But she tells him she now does not want to leave, she understood & she wants to be with him. They start to return down to the den when an enraged Joss finds them, thinking she was escaping. Everything gets explained & calmed down.

Lark & Evan bond closer than ever & have their mating ceremony. But the trouble with the evil alpha is far from over. A wolf enforcer of the evil alpha has been surveilling the park with electronics & is planning to infiltrate the park using the VIP tour. But that is where it ended, so it will continue into the next book. But considering he is going on the VIP tour & it is going into a new book, I am thinking it will be this wolf meeting one of the park shifters on the tour and their his soulmate, which will make him change his allegiance. That is my guess. We will see.
