…I promised I'd only show her the stepbrother she’s yearn for, but my heart will never stop aching for more.
I bite my lip to quiet the curse word I feel like yelling at myself. I had no other way. Being without her felt like death. I knew it was wrong the entire time. There was no other way though. I had no other way to see her, feel close to her, hear how her life was. It was worth it to do wrong, just to feel just the tiniest bit close to her again. I’m not sure I wouldn’t do it again honestly. I’m not sure I could truly be sorry about doing it at all. I’d follow her to the depths of the earth just to have a glimpse of her. To see that she’s happy, taken care of…while I dream about more alone in my room.
This was a cute read. A relationship forbidden as they are step brother and step sister. They fight against the cosmic pull of weather they should admit feelings or go against them and keep things simple.
I need to be able to open this book to be able to enjoy it fully.i was reading this book with radish app now am here and I don't know how to open it and start reading
I wanted to like it, I really did but…eh. The dialog was awful, their ages didn’t make sense, and I couldn’t really get invested. Also my Kindle version had several typos so that felt unprofessional.
All that said, I’m willing to concede that maybe the step sibling trope just isn’t for me and maybe if I was into it that would have made a difference. I just don’t understand why it’s even a thing. They’re not blood related and it’s not illegal so why is it supposed such a big deal. I mean who cares??
This was an okay book. It had alot of mispunctuation and missing/misspelled words throughout the entire book. I wasn't a fan of the breaking up and getting back together every other page/chapter. It was a pretty spicy book, but some of them with them breaking up and then getting spicy 1 page later just threw me off. I probably wouldn't really recommend this book or if anything it shouldn't be read more than once if at all.
I need to know what happens. Will they get their happy ending? Avery and Blade share a forbidden love and both struggle with the loss of each other. When Avery comes back, they both have to fight to control their feelings and try to be the brother/sister they should be. One last night together to say goodbye? Or is it a second chance? I need to know! Can’t wait for the next book.
This was a nice easy read, i stopped up late to finish it as i wanted to know what happened, it does leave you on a cliffhanger, but i really enjoyed this story. It has lots a naughty bits but it still has a good plot to follow, I really liked the nasty exgirlfriend character, she was really easy to dislike. if you are a romance lover, then this book is for you.
This is a hot erotic tale with Blade and Avery's sizzling chemistry exploding at times. It is a real romantic story with a few unexpected turns along the way. The main character had a lot of problems they needed to sort out and your willing them to succeed. Very good would be interested in reading more in the series.
This forbidden love full of secrets between them and hidden feelings will leave you wanting more of Avery and Blade. Four years of spending time rebuilding a life after that night, and it showed in the end after coming together, that waiting any more just wasn’t possible anymore! Was it right? Do they keep fighting for each other?
This book is unexpected. If you are not disturbed by a step-sibling romance this could be for you! It is well written in terms of characters and story. It’s a will they or won’t they meets trying to do the “right “ thing. Would suggest it to someone who wants an emotional read with a cliff hanger.
Oh my gosh. I can’t wait to read the next one! I need it now! I love Blade and Avery. I wanted to jump in there and fix everything for them. I read this in a day because I had to know what happened. Now! Come on book 2!!!
Taboo love story between step siblings Avery and Blade. It was a quick read with a storyline that held much promise. However the writing fell short. It felt very jumbled and just thrown together. So much so that I had to really push myself to finish this book.
Spoiler Alert -Most step siblings books the parents are married by the time the two main characters got together one parent was deceased and then the other parent passed. This was standard romance in my eyes. It was a nice love story overall.
What a beautiful taboo love story filled with desire, longing, angst, and spice! I loved Blade and Avery. It was fun watching Blade chase and fight for HEA with Avery.
A lot of misunderstanding happens in the book, the FMC likes to make decisions for everyone that leaves them all unhappy and then wonders why she’s unhappy/ doing certain things.
The story isn't bad, it just needs some slight work. The will they/wont they was well done and the characters had depth, but the story was missing something.
