Highly recommend this devotional for anyone who is raising support! I read this at the end of my year long support raising journey and it was so encouraging to keep on going to be fully funded for ministry.
This is an excellent book for any ministry worker who is doing personal partnership development (FKA support raising, FKA deputation). I might even call it a must-read. I found every devotional to be interesting and insightful, often spot-on addressing issues that we face in our partnership development. I bought this for everyone doing PD that was serving on my team and it will be at the top of my recommended reading list for those seeking to become missionaries.
This was so good in the support raising journey. Loved all the verses used and the stories felt really relatable. Connected back to Scripture and why we have a good biblical foundation for inviting people to give to our ministries. Would recommend to anyone currently raising their own funds for ministry.
Really enjoyed this one during in a season of support raising, and will probably come back to specific chapters in the future. I was impressed by how each devotional blends spiritual and practical advice, and I enjoyed the closing prayers. Some topics felt repetitive or less applicable than others, but overall I’d recommend this to any Christian worker raising support.
This was a fine devotional if you are currently in a season of support raising / job that requires it. It isn’t the book I’d recommend to build deep biblical convictions on fundraising though. I took off a star because at times it felt repetitive and a little shallow.
Good verses, challenges, and prayers for understanding and faithfulness in the areas of finances, relationships, work, and fundraising. Recommended to anyone who fundraises. :)
I don’t like the use of the term fundraising, but I do think this book provides insightful perspectives and humble prayers that are so valuable in ministry partnership development.
