Gave up on love? A young man who fell in love with his cousin’s fiancée later meets her again. Our heroine has not planned to marry after the death of her fiancée just before their wedding. Plus she also has a mother anyone would hate having as she is pushing for her daughter to marry. There is the set up and it was fun seeing this all play out. It is not smooth sailing but the heroine has a great friend and a father that is in her corner I loved the characters both the hero and heroine have awesome friends plus as an additional bonus two others may find the one. Loved the book and I hope you check it out.
This is a really enjoyable story that will keep you gripped from start to finish. this steamy at the end plot, has everything to keep you enthralled from a controlling mother, and a scheming blackmailer, to love and great emotion, and a heroine 5that knows her own mind. The use of the extended epilogue is a brilliant device that gives you an amazing glimpse into the main characters later lives and hopes for the future. I read an ARC copy.
I loved reading this book from from beginning to end as it captured your attention from the first page about Maria & Philip. The story takes you on a rollercoaster ride with twist and turns, of raw emotions, nail biting, misunderstanding, interfering & manipulating characters, strong willed,.attraction, passion, love and loyal friends. A must read…Loved it. Another awesome book by Emily.
A very good story about a young woman drawn to a young man with a reputation that the tin looks down on and he loves her but there are obstacles trying to keep them apart but love and a understanding father helps them greatly The characters are determined and emotional The extended epilogue completes the story with a happy ending A enjoyable and well written story
Excellent storyline and the characters were a mixed bag with a determination to go there own way, loved it.Not like the usual stuffy minded and worrying about the ton.Still had a bit of mystery at the end.Wonderful and the Extended Epilogue was a great addition to read at the end.
