Willow went on and did the damn thing!! This was a spectacular spin on the Garden of Eden! Who knew Angel loving could be so SPICY 🌶. I just love the way Willow writes anyway, but the life and personality she brought to these characters, Niall & Phina were everything! I can honestly say I’ve never read a PNR quite like this one before! The way this second chance romance was written really came in through the back door shouting BOO! Such an original plot and so unexpected.

And Willow, thank you for adding that swing, girl..that’s what’s up!😈

I don't read Paranormal romances AT ALL. Yet and it's a big YET I LOVED IT!!
A modern twist on story of ill-fated first couple, Adam & Eve. This story chronicles a fictional account of what might've happened to them after they were banished from the Garden Of Eden.

description

"Life and death colliding.
Ice and fire tempting fate.
Love and hate and hate and love, swirling until it’s hard to tell one from the other…the line indecipherable."

Wandering around aimless for thousands of years, Hadraneil is still pining for his Seraphina. Crossing eons, lifetimes and carnations, Seraphina somehow falls prey to Daigon himself in different lives. He has managed to inflict pain and abuse on her.
I immediately fell in love with Nial and Phina.

description

description

Willow has treated them with fragile care, penning the dilemmas of standing on the doorstep of The Gate, sera is struggling to fall back in the energizing ambience & calm of Eden while the outside world entices her.

description

"I close my eyes and feel the bond to this earth so strong, so deep, I know there is no place I’d rather be than right here, in Eden. Well, actually just through this gate is where I want to be most, but right here is really nice too."

The tree of Knowledge Of Good And Evil is curiosity itself, residing in all of us.
Every detail was beautifully penned. I just wish it was longer though. It was over too soon for me.
The poignant story is a gift for hopeless romantics like me.

This was such a great story, so unique, interesting and emotional that I couldn't put down.

The story is about Phina and Nial and their journey of finding each other again and a star crossed love that stood time and distance.

When Phina wakes up with no memory of her previous life, she finds herself in a beautiful place that brings her alive in every way. She finds herself been care by Nial, a man that is mysterious at the beginning but feels safe around him. Trough her journey she has dreams that she doesn't understand but little by little the pieces of her life come back.

Nial has waited for his Seraphina for a very long time, his one and only love who he lost to evil. But now she is back and he will do whatever it takes to make her remember the life they once had.

This book was a beautiful story about good vs. evil and true love. I don't want to give too much away because honestly is worth reading and experience the journey of a love like no other.

I think I just found my new favorite second chance romance book ever.

Willow Aster isn’t exactly known for writing paranormal romance, but I had a feeling she would knock it out of the park and I was right!!

This book hooked me from the very first page, and I loved it so much that once I reached the end I immediately wanted to start it over and read it again.

The plot truly grabs you and doesn’t let go. It has everything from amazing characters a little bit of action and a love story that will have you swooning and smiling from ear to ear. I loved the mysterious atmosphere surrounding the story, and I loved unraveling the mystery and learning what’s going on as Phina remembers more.

The characters were soooo special I especially love Nial he was the perfect grumpy mystery man, and I’m definitely adding him to my book boyfriend repertoire. And the love he had for Phina was just ugh so swoon worthy and amazing.

This is a must read I especially think both seasoned PNR readers and those that aren’t sure about the genre will love this book! I can’t recommend it enough!!

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own.

This is my first ever time reading a book from Willow Aster and I can't wait to read more by her! This novella and the stand-alone, is one you can devour in one sitting. I don’t wanna get too deep into the details of the book because I don’t wanna give anything away, but the story was so unique and emotional. The journey that Phina and Nial go through to find each other once again had me swooning from beginning to end. This unputdownable book is a must read if you’re looking for a story with a second chance, magic, deep love and strength to look no further.

Falling In Eden by Willow Aster is an emotional and passionate fantasy romance. Seraphina and Nial's fallen angel romance was equally magical and captivating. This novella brings the beauty of star-crossed lovers romance with the dreamy fantasy vibes.

Sera is travelling to Dubai for a vacation with her boyfriend Dane. It was a much needed break in their life as she is a busy nurse and Dane is a busy lawyer. But their plane crashes and she wakes up in a strange but utterly beautiful place. Surrounded by a gorgeous garden and stunning architecture, she is recovering slowly and her saviour Nial is strangely familiar to her. She cannot remember much about her own life but this stranger haunts her in dreams. What is their story? Will she ever remember? What is this ethereal place Nial calls Eden?

This novella is a fast paced read and I wish it could be longer. The angst of Nial's eternal love is felt very deeply. Seraphina is confused and scared with so many conflicting emotions and incomplete memories. But her connection with Nial run for ages and slowly she remembered everything. They are the true soulmates. Even the sin and punishment couldnt keep them separated. You have to fall for the angel. His love and devotions is irresistible. It was a rollercoaster with high tension as the pieces kept coming together till the last chapter. The passion was explosive but the angst of star crossed lovers was my favourite part of the story. It's like a contemporary fantasy where the world of the angels exist together with our material world. And the author portrayed it with vivid mesmerising details.

FALLING IN EDEN

Kindle Unlimited: [ ]YES [X]NO
Stand-alone: [X]YES [ ]NO
Author: Willow Aster
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spiciness rating: 🌶🌶🌶/5
POV: Dual, first person
Main Couple: Phina & Nial
Favorite Character: Phina
Tropes: Paranormal romance; star crossed lovers; second chance; lost memory

Review:

I am not a big reader of paranormal romances, but every once in a while I find one I really like and Falling in Eden just made it to the list.

When Phina embarks in a trip willing to save a relationship that was pretty much over, she never reaches her destination and wakes up in a strange place with an unknown man who has been taking care of her during her recovery. Nial is a mysterious man who puzzles and dazzles Phina in equal measure and she also can’t seem to remember where she came from or where she was supposed to be. She had lost her memory.

Throughout the book we get to discover things about Phina’s past while she get her memories back and see that maybe her accident was in fact a second chance. What about Nial? *swoon* he has such a sweet and loving side hidden behind all that broodiness…

If you like paranormal romance I really recommend this sweet and hot book. Willow balanced both perfectly.

Falling in Eden is one of those stories that I hoped would hook me deeply, only to find it did not tick my boxes. In fact, a part of me can explain this in one simple way. This was a novella, and it was not enough to explore the details in the depth I had hoped for. Had I realised just how short this story was going to be, I would have skipped it.

I know a lot of people enjoy short stories and novellas, but I’m extremely picky with them. If a story is going to include lots of elements, as this one tried to, I prefer for it to be a full-length novel so that everything can get the attention it deserves. I feel, with this one, things did not get the attention they should have. Everything happened far too quickly and easily, and I was never given the chance to feel an emotional connection to the details. As soon as something happened, the story moved on to the next detail, and it prevented me from loving it.

While some are sure to be hooked on this, it was not for me. In the end, this was a case of ‘it’s me, not the book’.

As soon as I saw that this was about star crossed lovers, I knew this was going to be the book for me. While I loved the concept, this read like I was being told what was happening, not that I was experiencing it myself, which was truly disappointing. The hero’s devotion to the heroine was wonderful though.

This story is so exquisite, intense, emotional and angst, I loved it, devoured it in one sitting and am obsessed with it.
The author tells us the story of Seraphina and Nail, both are angels and they are in love but due to dire circumstances she forgets everything.

The star crossed trope is one of my favorites and the author narrates this novel in a masterful way, the anguish of the characters pours from each page, I felt it even in the depths of my being. The scenes between Seraphina and Nail are everything, their sizzling chemistry is off the charts!

This book is pure magic, it is so beautiful, UNPUTDOWNABLE, and teaches us about love and its strength that transcends time and distance.

I would give a thousand stars if I could, highly recommended!

Read it if you like
*Paranormal
*second chance
*star crossed
*intense and angst

Leave it to Willow Aster to pick me up out of a reading slump!

This story grabbed me right away. It was so unique and unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Nial was the perfect mix of broody and swoony. And I loved him and Phina together. I am also a sucker for a strong female MC and Phina was just perfection. Watching I don’t want to give too much away because this story is so different, but if you’re a fan of forced proximity, second-chance romance, look no further!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Phina wakes up in a beautiful place that feels familiar, but she doesn't remember how she got there. When she's told she survived a plan crash, it feels true, but all the details are blurry. A gorgeous, grumpy stranger owns the house where she's recovering, and she's drawn to him, but everything about him confuses her. his elusive answers. The way he disappear right when they're connecting. The dreams she has of the two of them when they were young. The longer she's there, the more comfortable she feels in her new home, and the more she falls for Nial. But her past begins to catch up with her, and it's beyond anything she ever imagined.

This is a book in the Legends and Lovers Series which is a collection of dark legends, and star-crossed love stories from twenty best-selling authors. This is Willow Asters book in that collection.
Here is where I have to tell you that I am not much a paranormal reader and these books are consider paranormal books but this is the second one I have read in this collection and I have loved them both. This is really a story that is based on the most bound to fail first couple ever in Adam and Eve. You are going to be taken to the Garden of Eden and see what might have happened once they were banished from that garden. The characters are Sera and her boyfriend Dane who are traveling to Dubai for a vacation. They are always super busy, her as a nurse and he as a lawyer
so this is like a dream we need to spend time together vacation for them. However they don't make it to the vacation because their plane crashes and Sera wakes up in the most strange but devastatingly beautiful place she has ever seen and is recovering from her injuries. She has lost her memory and her hero Nial is so familiar to her but she doesn't know why. He haunts her dreams when she sleeps Will she ever be able to remember her life before the crash and what is the place they call Eden really? You have to read to get those answers. This is not a super long book but it did not feel like a rushed story I really loved this story. Just remember this is fiction and not real at all when your reading.

Phina and Nial’s story is a modern loose retelling of The Garden of Eden.
They’re star-crossed lovers who’ve been separated and are given an unexpected second chance.
I liked the juxtaposition of Phina having been living in modern NYC and then she’s in this mysterious “Eden” after a very big, unexpected event.
I loved the connection and the bit of angst Nial has when Phina doesn’t “remember “ him.
I loved the mild memories at first, that feeling of deja vu she kept experiencing was great for the tone of the romance.
It was very unique, I liked the setting and the characters.
The chemistry was definitely the fated kind. That’s a good thing ;)
It was a bit short in my opinion for the scope of the story (it’s a novella) I felt a lot got brought up that wasn’t resolved or fully explored. It made me feel a bit lost or just that it was missing the mark a tiny bit.
Overall a really unique and interesting story. Great characters and mood.

OVERALL RATING – 5

RECOMMENDED FOR: lovers of: ‘is it or isn’t it real’ fantasy (yes, I personally recommend it for a ‘get-away’)

First my usual points:
- I do not do spoilers unless warned.
- Read the summary above; it will tell you what the book is about. I will not reiterate.
- This is a standalone to my knowledge
- No errors that I caught as far as editing.
- The author was new to me

BOOK:
- Cover adequately reflects the story (and I love that)
- Genre/troupe: contemporary romance
- 1st person, alternating POV

Star Ratings - 1 (poor) - 5(READ THIS BOOK)
• Writing Quality: 5 stars
• Story ingredient: 5 stars
• Ease of reading/Pace: 5 stars
• Plot strength: 5 stars
• Steam Level 4 and high on romance; there are open door scenes

Notes/Opinion (personal):
This is a new author to me, one which I’ll have to locate her library. I can’t go into too much detail or the book away. Suffice to say, I devoured the book. I started with a ‘what is going’ on but everything quickly straightened out and left me to enjoy the story without thinking about any whys or doubts. I love a good story that gives a bit of a twist to a traditional classic, and Falling in Eden certainly fits this category.

This was a quick treat to read. I love a past life type story and that is kind of what this is. Of course our hero is not allowed to tell the heroine anything about their past. In order for them to be together she has to remember on her own. It was interesting with the love triangle aspect (but not really) more like villain. I’m excited to pick up more in this series of stories by various other authors as well.

I start every review for this author basically the same way. Just completely adore her, so I will always read what she writes. I didn't dislike this book. But I truly wanted more. I feel like we needed more to this story. That will be the biggest thing I would say. I know it's not a full length novel, but I think I wanted more with just about every character.

You think you know everything about the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, well this amazing story will give you a behind the scenes twist full of love, lost, finding who you are, and a tale as old as time. Sera never felt she belonged in her life and her partner Dane was less than accommodating or compassionate to her feelings. As they’re in route to vacation in Dubai, an accident happens and their plane falls out of the sky. Sera, the lone survivor is saved by a handsome stranger she feels she knows, but why?

Niall is happy his Phina is back by his side after thousands of years apart, but she doesn’t remember him. She dreams of him every night, but still doesn’t realize the man caring for her is an Angel, one she grew up with, she loved, her mate. When her memories come flooding back, it’s as if a veil has been lifted and she’s just started to live for the first time in a long time. They’re happy beyond the lushness of the garden and the vast openness of the sky…but evil lurks once again near the garden.

Dagon is back and threatening the happiness Seraphina and Hadraneil have finally restored. The big Angels are going to have a reunion to rid the garden of this slithering pest once and for all.

Falling Into Eden was an amazing read with a story that was both gripping, entertaining, and one of the best second chance stories I’ve read in a while. The world building, the heat, the love - not only between Niall and Phina, but with the other angels was just beautiful. The imagery made it seem as if I were present right in the garden. Highly recommended read.

Thank you Valentine PR and Willow Aster for and advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Plot: 3.5/5
Pacing: 4.5/5
Writing: 3.5/5
Characters: 4/5
Enjoyment: 4/5

Final Rating: 3.9/5 stars

In this fantasy romance, the story starts when our main character Phina ends up in a devastating plane crash and ends up on a mysterious place called Eden, her only companion being a mysterious man named Nial. However, the house they're living in is isolated and the nature around them seems off to Phina. Due to the plane crash, Phina is also suffering from a loss of a few key moments in her memory, and during their time together, Nial aids Phina in remembering many valuable moments of her past and their history together.

As this book is fairly short, it was very fast paced and got me hooked instantly. The premise of this book was interesting and it had a lot of potential, and while I still really enjoyed it, I feel like it could've been more fleshed out. Regardless, I still loved following Phina and Nials story and each of their moments together were so cute. Although, I do wish there was more focus on some of the magic and the history of Nial and Phina's story prior to where the book starts.

At the end of the book, it felt like the finale was a bit rushed, so there were a few details that were just brushed past. I would've like there to have been more time to the side characters to have had a larger role and to be more fleshed out. By the end, they felt pretty irrelevant to the plot line, other than them aiding Phina and Nial.

My favorite parts of this book were definitely more towards the middle, and most of the chapters left me wanted more. Each day that I had to put the book down, I always looked forward to finding time to sit down and finish this book. I love how the flow and the writing was structured so I could sit and read for a long time on end!

For any readers looking for a new adult fantasy romance with angels and a bit of spice, this book would be perfect for you!

When I started reading Falling in Eden I wasn't sure what to expect from it, sure I read the description but it do the book justice in my opinion. Falling in Eden is a twist on the tales of Adam and Eve, with Seraphina "Phina/Sera" and Hadranial "Nial" being two angels who were tasked with guarding Eden from Demons who would see it and the world destroyed. But after trusting the wrong person Phina is banished from Eden, and separated from her true love Nial. I am not a religious person, but I did enjoy the spicy version of the classic fable that so many know but with a happier ending.
What would you do if you woke up one morning with no memory in a beautiful place with nothing but the feeling that you've been there before? For Sera this is her current reality, she feels that she should know more than she does about who she is, where she is and who the man in front of her, Nial, is to her. All Nial is able to tell her is that she was in a plane crash, that she was the only survivor, and that he can't tell her anything, she has to remember on her own. The more time she spend in this beautiful place she starts to have dreams, and remembers previously dreaming of this place and Nial, and soon memories start to come back. But what is reality and what is a dream?

Note: An ARC was provided by the author.

It's been a while since I last read a paranormal romance involving angels, and no, this is not me being spoilery because hello, the book cover has angel's wings on it. I actually went into this book without reading the blurb, and it wasn't until after the first couple of chapters that everything began clicking into place. I quite liked both Phina and Nial, and Phina's flashbacks through her dreams of them from when they were younger as Seraphina and Hadraniel provided all those missing pieces of their story. Because this was shorter in length, there were moments where it felt like the storytelling was rushed, but it didn't totally take away from my overall enjoyment of Phina and Nial and their story. Falling in Eden is my first read from the Legends and Lovers series, and I find myself happily satisfied and curious about the other books. This gets four stars out of five stars.

Seraphina is finally taking a long awaited vacation with her boyfriend as a last ditch effort to save their failing relationship. They never make it to their destination as the the plane goes down killing everyone on board. Everyone except Phina. She wakes up in a foreign but beautiful place with beautiful man named Nial who has been taking care of her since he saved her from the crash. But not is all as it seems.

For as long as she can remember she’s had vivid dreams but after the crash the dreams seem to morph into something more like memories and the faceless man who always was in these dreams? Now he looks a lot like Nial. The longer she’s in the gardens with him the more she becomes convinced that something isn’t right here. She’s missing a big chunk of the truth. Though Nial won’t tell her what it is she knows she needs to remember soon. Their future depends on it.

I’ve been getting more into PNR this year and I have been loving the Legends & Lovers series. Each book by a different author with a different PNR. This one was short but engrossing. I flew through it in a few short hours. I had a feeling I knew where the story was going but I liked the little twist with her back story which kept me on my toes. My heart ached for Nial as the past came out. This is a couple who definitely earned their HEA.

Even if you’re newer to PNR like me I definitely think this one is worth the read. There isn’t too much world building (which can sometimes weigh down this genre in my opinion) and she dives right into the action. This is one that’ll keep you flipping the pages and finished before you even realize it. If you’re looking for your next short, sweet and sexy binge read make it this one!

Thanks to Willow and the Legend & Lovers team for proving me with an early copy to review!

Falling In Eden is a nice spin of Adam and Eve story, set in a modern day world and is a second chance, paranormal romance. I went into this story blind. I didn't know what I'm going to expect other than there will be an angel in this book (based on the book cover) and reading the blurb didn't give you much at all, LOL. I didn't even connect the title with the first man and woman, duh! Silly me. But, that didn't deter me from enjoying the hell out of this book. Angels versus demons, good versus evil, this is a tale as old as time but the author put her own modern take into it that made this a pretty enjoyable read. It didn't hurt that there are sexy AF, mighty fine looking angels into this book so yeah, truly a delightful read. I just wished that this book has been a full-length novel though. But anyway, loved it!

Phina gets on a plane with her husband trying to salvage their seemingly crumbling marriage with a last resort vacay.  But they fall out of the sky. She wakes up confused, in a new house, with a sexy man taking care of her but, she remembers nothing. Only her dreams keep her company at night. Are they dreams? or Memories of a past life?
.
The way I was quickly captivated in the first chapters just as confused as our Phina trying to make sense or her dreams, her reality and her sexy devoted ummm... nurse? companion? angel?  I was so lost trying to make sense of things I didn't even notice the Adam & Eve references until like 70% through😅. Yea, did I say I went in blind on this one?
.
I enjoyed this fun and fast read. Niels love and patience was heartwarming! Seeing Phina find her past self and organize her dreams was engaging. I wish we could have seen more of Phina in her action & strength though, that execution left me wanting more. Felt to quick. Most importantly though, can I please get her wardrobe? "That on amazon?"😅
.

“I love you,” I cry, and the very ground shakes beneath us. “For a thousand lifetimes,” he says, clutching either side of my face.

This is definitely new territory for me. I don’t normally read paranormal, but I was pulled into the beautiful love story between these two. Nial and Phina have been separated for many years. They come back together in a tragic event, but this is just the start of their reunification story. Phina doesn’t remember Nial. She sees him in her dreams, but doesn’t realize what he was to her… yet. You can feel the hope and longing in Nial that his Phina will come back to him, that her memory will return. He also so desperately wants to protect her from the impending force of evil that is still lurking out there. If you are a fan of soul mates, love that spans generations, and redemption stories you should pick this up. If you enjoy Sara J. Maas’ Rhys and Feyre or Radiance’s Brishen and Ildiko you will love this love story!
