His Candy Girl
Loved it. Just loved it! The feels are there and they run deep. The chemistry between Axel and Amanda explodes repeatedly as their equally strong personalities clash.
The killer is playing with his prey and like the stealthy cat he proves to be, he seems to relish in playing with his toy and leaving presents on the doorstep. When Amanda's past comes back to haunt her, it's another part of her past that rides in to help. (Notice that I didn't say rescue. Although, there is a bit of that.)
Be warned that your heart will break as the past finds clarity. I just... 💔😢😭💔 To balance it and the dangers that lurk, there are also many moments of levity, such as Houston's "I told you," which was perfectly placed.
After so many cliffhangers from E.M. Gayle, I am happy to see this one is a complete book. There's a lead-in for the next book. All I can say is, bring it! 🎉🎉

Fantastic read and just what I would expect from this author!
Fast paced with a plethora of emotions and highs and lows throughout the book.
Our main characters have a past that ends badly and their paths cross again years later. I love these types of books with alpha males and some pretty strong women who weld the true power with these men.
The great thing is this book is full of action, adventure, and yes some rather heated scenes.
I'm not sure how to articulate the depth of my love of this book and the characters along with the author who just seems to know how to pull all my strings.
I'm looking forward to the next book and highly recommend you pick up a copy for yourself.

Cruel Savior is a well written, fast-paced, dark, enemies-to-lovers, second chance MC romance filled with revenge, heartache, betrayal, danger, and so much more.

What a book! Just when you think most of the trouble is over, then somebody else pops up. Amanda is staying at her father's house after being burned by the CIA & FBI. Axel is not look forward to the next job of being Amanda a live! ( they have history)!

An excellent MC book- great plot and chemistry between the main characters. I believe this book follows the events in the Outlaw Justice trilogy, and if so, I wish I had realized that sooner so I could've at least skimmed those books before starting this one. As it was, I kind of felt like I was dumped into the middle of the story without my bearings.
The first chapter did not endear Amanda to me. I found it off-putting that she referred to the butler as 'older than dirt' -- really disrespectful. Can't you just say he's been with the family a long time and leave it at that?
Another random thing: we switch between Axel's and Amanda's POVs throughout the book. About three quarters of the way in, we suddenly get one chapter from a third POV. I just find that weird when it happens, no matter what the author intends.
Finally, and this is hopefully caught before the final version is released, but in a few chapters we get random third person passages instead of the regular first person narrative. Normally I don't mention editing stuff (to be expected in an ARC), but it took me out if the story whenever it happened.
All in all, I'm looking forward to the next book.

Whoa, this one was a total sleeper, I was reading along and then, bam, totally couldn’t even think about turning away! Axel and Amanda have a past that was perfect, and then it wasn’t. Her life took some ugly turns and he is still mired in the past. The attraction between them is still there, just as strong as when they were teens. The emotions are still there, and just need to be routed to the right place. Forced proximity make these two face the past, come to terms, and maybe, just maybe, think about a future. Full of action, secrets, and yearning, this was a one-sit read!

This story kept me up all night!!! I could not put it down! Axel and Amanda have a past that ended badly and when his MC is hired to help her, the job is given to him to protect her. Their attraction is still as intense but Axel is still haunted by his past history with Amanda. However, their closeness will help them face the past issues and might help them look for a bright future together? This action packed, page turning story will enthrall you form the start. I volunteered to review this story.

OMG! I couldn't put the book down, read it in one sitting well into the night lol
Axel and Mandy's story was so beautiful and real, with past and present issues that are relatable. I just wanted to make sure they got their happily every after, it a was really touching story.

Great book. I just fell in love with Axel. Can't wait for more of the series to come out. Lots of action with a happy ending which is my favorite kind of book. And this one left a few things unanswered to keep you interested in the next book. Highly recommend!

Cruel Savior
E. M. Gayle created an exhilarating suspense filled, love/hate MC story. Axel and Amanda are explosive together, their emotions are so palpable. I did find the story a little confusing at the beginning because these characters are in the Outlaw Justice trilogy which I have not read. As the story evolved things did clear up and my interest was picked about the event that happened in the other books.
Axel as the Sins of Wrath motorcycle club Vice President is intense loyal to his President. That’s the only reason that he is willing to help protect his ex. The ex that walked away from him and caused him pain he will never forgive.
Amanda’s decisions have cost her everything, some she regrets. Now the only thing she can do at the moment is wallow in her misery until a delivery changes everything. The last thing she needs is to have her ex protecting her.
I recommend this if you like rough take
charge men and a strong female heroine with a good mystery and explosive chemistry.

Cruel Savior is a gritty, second chance for Amanda and Axel. 10 years is a long time and emphasizes how much they both have changed. Forced back together, they need to find a way to be in the same room and more than that, work together to solve who is after her.
Amanda has endured a lot in the name of saving others. Story doesn't go into to much detail, but her life has been less than easy - dealing with crime bosses never is.
I am interested in reading more in this series. I enjoyed the push and pull between Amanda and Axel as their hearts and their heads do battle. They are explosive as they fight and love. Supporting characters add to the story and I find myself wanting to read more about them as well.

Highly recommended first book to this series!
Axel and Amanda have a history. It ended poorly. It is now ten years later. Axel is VP of the Sins of Wrath MC. Amanda works for the FBI. It just so happens, Axel is working a case with his MC, but Amanda is also working the same case. She has so many secrets she’s keeping from everyone. Will she ever be able to reveal it all to Axel? Can they make another go of their relationship? This story is full of action and danger from beginning to end. It’s full of angst and steam. All of this every minute. At the end there is a surprise revelation for Axel and Amanda. It also leads you into what the next book will be about. Can’t wait for that.

Can Axel and Mandy get back what they had 10 years ago? Mandy‘s father is mortified when he finds out on the street that teenage Mandy is pregnant. He is determined she is not to be with motorcycle enthusiast Axel. They are just too young. What happens next will break your heart and especially what each one of them thinks what happened. It’s now 10 years later and Axel runs into Mandy when she returns home. The heat is still there between both of them not knowing what each other has been told. A beautiful story of a teenage love that comes back around full circle. You just can’t stop true love when it never went away. Lots of drama and intense situation and tempers that flare out of control. What a great, great book.

This is a fast paced action filled story full of human interest. Axel and Amanda have not seen each other since they were teenagers. Amanda is now in trouble and The Sins of Wrath MC are hired to protect her, not that as an ex-CIA agent she wants protecting, but it falls to Axel to guard her. There are some really dark parts to this story and some humorous parts as well as some very hot scenes so that there is a balance to the story. Houston and Izzy come back briefly and are involved in the finale and then the epilogue is so sweet but not cloying. A page turning story with lots of twists and turns and a very satisfying read.

Really good MC romance! Mandy and Axel were teenage sweethearts until Mandy found herself pregnant and her father was not happy. All Axel knew was that she was gone without saying a word. Then they met again a decade later during a club job to rescue her sister. Now she is being threatened by someone, but the culprit is targeting the club compound. Misunderstandings and wrong assumptions are keeping the pair apart and stubbornness is prolonging the pain. I really liked the couple but sometimes I would have liked to smack their heads together! Great intense story making the pages turn quickly and oh those sex scenes! Want the next book!

All I can say is be ready to stay up to til the sun comes up when you crack open Cruel Savior. This story is completely enthralling and you won't know what hit you are until you are too far in to stop. The story of Amanda and Axel takes place in two different time periods which are ten years apart. Their "relationship" is complicated, secret filled, dangerous, mysterious, edge of your seat and nail-biting intense and then add in the sexual combustibility.

This was such an awesome read. It grabbed me right from the start, I couldn’t put it down till I finished. I loved all the twists and surprises, had to keep turning those pages, cause I had to find out what was going to happen next. Amanda is so amazing, she can do anything and do it well. Alex is so protective, it doesn’t really go over well with Amanda, I loved how they worked everything out so much intrigue and suspense, loved it.

Amanda and Axel had a thing in school but her father sent her to an asylum for 3 years after she lost the baby at 16. Axel hated her for years because he believed her father about everything. She went undercover as a CIA or the FBI but got burned by the them. He was sent to guard her he found out the truth they somewhat made up, wouldn’t tell him what really happened then. Things got better after their talks. Good book!

With a boatload of baggage from their failed teenage relationship Axel and Amanda are once again thrown together in a time filled with danger, mayhem and true colors. Although this is an add on to another series of books, it did not disappoint with a great storyline, emotional turmoil that wil make the reader's heart break and just the right combination of MC alpha males and the women who tame them. I am only hoping that this series continues with the stories of the supporting characters.

Good second chance romance. Amanda and Axel were teenage sweethearts that were ripped apart because they came from two different worlds. Years later, she returns home to more misunderstandings, secrets, hurt feelings and warped family dynamics. The book has it all with angst, romance and suspense. Amanda could be confusing at times as I couldn't connect her different personalities as a strong undercover agent with the woman she was before and after.

It’s always a treat to read one of E.M. Gayle’s stories.
Axel and Mandy’s story was hard to put down. I loved that there were also history and other happenings in the story that were not fully explained. It got my mind spinning.

Axel and Mandy's story was so beautifully written and so real. With problems from the past and in the present that are so recognizable. I just wanted to make sure they were happy every time, it was a very touching story. I couldn't put it down till the end.

E.M. Gayle told us an amazing story of two lovers with a back story that was broken, but they couldn’t deny their love, and I was there for it!!!! It was incredible!!! I absolutely LOVED every word!!

I really got into this story. Amanda and Axel shared a youthful love, their union a harmonious blend of opposites attract. However their young love ended, leaving behind shattered hearts and broken dreams.
A decade later unexpected events bring them back into each others orbit. Thus begins a journey fraught with animosity, recriminations, secrets, revelations, danger and drama. Their coming together is painful, emotionally intense, and fuel by unrelenting attraction. Following their journey of forgiveness, healing an love made their HEA even more enjoyable. A fast paced, entertaining story.
