Matthew "Red" Carter's life had been over since his mate had returned to be the tiger prince he was born to be. The mate Red would never—could never—measure up to. His life had been over since he was 17, and Bodhi's was a bright spark that was just beginning.
Victoria writes about guys loving other guys in between dodging bullets, kidnappers, and serial killers. She enjoys putting them through hell to get their happy ever after—it’s a character flaw she embraces.
She also believes that family is who you choose, that dogs are often much wiser than human beings, and that we’re steadily destroying the world we live in.
And if people read more books, they'd be much happier.
Aww it was such a cute ending. I’m really glad he found his strength and I never suspected Dimitri so that was a big surprise but I enjoyed it. I am super looking forward to the fourth book.
Not to beat a dead horse, but Grammarly is FREE! 🤦♀️
Storywise? This one touched my heart! I think most every parent has the heart of a tiger... some more than others! The babies and total commitment of "family" have kept me going with this series, so I guess I will be moving straight to Baby and the Enforcer and see if we can get Charles and Fox their HEA...
This is another amazing addition to this series. I am so happy that Bohdi and Red get their story! I absolutely love these two. These two had to fight to be together and I love how perfect they are for each other. Victoria Sue just makes me fall in love with all these characters and I couldn't stop reading. I can't wait for Charlie and Fox's story.
I love this series.. I love the omega and the Protective alphas.. The plots be on point as well.. Finally off to Charles's book!! I hate is the last book of the series but I'm so anxious to read it... Off to book 5
Bodhi has been taken to the tiger compound away from his mate. He is dying. Red is trying to exist without him. They need each other. They will fight to be together.
I’m loving this series. I love all the characters involved. This is NOT a standalone book. I even got a little confused a few times trying to remember who some people were. Characters from all of the books pop up here. While this was a good book, it’s not my favorite one of the series. I’m giving grace because in this moment the author was going through a lot and I’m hooked on the series. I feel like this one was missing the gusto the other books had. I wanted more for Red’s book. I excepted more from Bo. I also felt more connection with them in the last book then this one. I also don’t like that the “fight” didn’t happen until the end of the book. The writing was good like normal, the smexy was good too. Next is Charles and it’s the last book of the series. I’m gonna be sad to see the end but I can’t wait to see him finally get his HEA.
5 fantastic stars! I did a beta read of this wonderful story. If you are a fan of this series you are going to love Red and Bodhi's story.
Note: this is a series that really needs to be read in order.
At the end of the last book Red/Matthew ran away after his mate, Bodhi, was made to go with his parents. Now Bodhi is wasting away and his parents come to the shifter rescue looking for Red. They think Bodhi has mating disease (happens when mates are separated for too long) even though he and Red never officially mated.
Red is getting tired of running and living most of the time as a wolf. Rescuing a young human boy is just the thing to finally make him contact his Alpha and ask to return to his pack. He is reunited with Bodhi and they acknowledge that they are mates.
Bodhi’s parents don’t accept his choice of mate, even though they are fated mates. Bodhi finally puts his foot down and his parents seem to give in. We saw an example of the power Bodhi has in the last book where he helped to save someone’s life. Now he is gaining even more power.
This story had twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I don’t dare say any more because it would be too much of a spoiler. I’ve absolutely loved all of the books in this series and will be sorry to see it end. Baby and the Enforcer is the last book and it’s coming in late July.
Matthew "Red" Carter is struggling with feelings of inadequacy and despair after his mate, Bodhi, returned to his rightful place as a tiger prince. Red believes his life effectively ended when he was seventeen, feeling he can't measure up to Bodhi's burgeoning future. However, Bodhi, who was stolen as a cub and spent his life hiding, has other plans. Despite being bound by shared loss and an uncertain future, Bodhi recognizes Red as his mate. Armed with love, Bodhi is determined to fight for their relationship and teach Red a new lesson about their bond.
I loved this story with all of the angst, politics and overbearing family. I loved the focus on hearing, understanding and appreciation of feelings and viewpoints. Plenty of drama, danger and emotions in this story. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
If I only rated a book on an author's imagination, this would be 4-5 stars but it's in the telling that sometimes this series lags for me. I misread quite a few scenes due to lack of punctation and a few more due to incorrect comma placement. I would dearly love to see the words flow seamlessly because I enjoy the world-building and the characters.
This one features tiger shifter, Bodhi, and his mate, wolf shifter Red. The twist near the end was unexpected but I'm glad the author gave Bo an opportunity to get out of his head and show his capabilities. Anything more would be a spoiler.
All in all, it was sweet to see the "omega club" and all their babies and families again.
What do Tiger shifter royalty and an alpha wolf have in common?? Well, that’s the fun part to explore in this forth installment of the shifter rescue series! It doesn’t disappoint either with plenty of twists, turns and surprises. Relationships face many hazards along the way… ourselves possibly being the greatest! That’s only if you narrow out the in-laws! Best read in order, this series had me hooked from he beginning! I’m hoping that poor Charles has his HEA! I’ll need to read on to see if that’s in the cards! Great job Victoria Sue!!
So many interesting twists and turns in this book as we learn more about tiger shifter abilities and traditions. All Bodhi wants is to get back to his non tiger mate, but Red ran away from the pack when Bodhi returned to his family. Will Red come home in time to save his mate’s life? Read this delightful book and find out.
Enjoyed reading this book, as I have the prior ones. Good story and great memorable characters. Will be sad that the next book will be the last. Recommend reading in order in order to get the most out of the books.
Well written story and well developed characters! Those are the most important attributes, to me, in a book. This whole series is fantastic! Every single one grabs you and won't let go! I couldn't put this book down until the end!
I totally love this series! All my friends are here, it felt like coming home. And no matter what anyone says... the Omegas are in charge. This book follows wolf Red and his fated mate Bohdi, tiger prince. There will be parental angst, betrayal, loyal friends, adorable children, intrigue, an unexpected pregnancy, a unique nesting, a wondrous shift, and a power unlike any other. Red & Bo prove that love really does conquer all. You are just going to love this book! Please. Read the rest of the series. It will be time well spent.
This was GOOD! Red, had a tragic childhood that formed him to be the man he is today. He had a Mom, a Dad and a younger brother Dean. Circumstances forced him to make decisions that threw a curve in his life. After the Khan, took Bodhi, Red did a runner and had more adventures. When he returned to pack, he brought more than he left with. Bodhi, was not thriving with his parents. The solution was to see if Red could help. Does Red help Bodhi get better? Does Khan approve of Red and Bodhi?Does Bodhi want to be Khan? This was a fantastic story. Nothing goes according to assumptions and there are lots of surprises. Great story. Well done!
Red and Bohdi's story!! This is not a stand-alone book, you'll be lost if you dive in without the background of the first three. This story had everything I love in a book and ALL the feels! I don't do spoilers, so just know that if you've been hooked by the previous books, you will not be disappointed and if you haven't started the series yet, go grab book 1 and get started. Wolves, Panthers, Bears and Tigers.... oh my!
Bohdi really comes into his own in an amazing (and dramatic!) fashion and he and Red are adorable together!
I really have no idea what was going on here. It feels like with this series more people and plots get added with each story, but I’m still addicted. I need to see how it all ends! As for Bodhi and Red, they were cool. Kind of kept going in circles with some issues, Red keep needing to reassure Bodhi he was wanted and Bodhi keep feeling like he was a cowardly. Interesting and writing style…sometimes I was just like “huh”. Could use another round of edits, but like I said I’m addicted to the stories…can’t wait for Fox and Charles!
This book is definitely one of my favorites of the series. So happy Red and Bodhi was able to get their hea. From the beginning this series has been about family, friendship, love, and compassion, and we got that here as well. There was hardly any angst, but lots of humor, kids galore, some action, a easy to read page turner. My only issue is Bodhi's abilities weren't really explained. Looking forward to Charles story, he really deserves his own hea.
I love the dramatic way these two met, got separated, and were reunited. These two have so many twists and turns. Thankful rescue this time is swift. I appreciate how Bo can be the tiger he is without having to be something he's not. There is wonderful balance in his relationship with Red. I have enjoyed this series and love the tie in with Hunter's Creek. I can't wait to see what happens in the final book of this series.
I was so happy to see Bodhi and Red get a happily ever after. These two men so deserved it with both their pasts and the situation they pulled Bodhi out of. I also loved to see the various children within the pack get adopted by couples who lovingly accepted them into their families. I cannot wait for Charles' story!
Red has been wandering without a pack until he sees a murder, rescues a young boy and asks to return to his pack. There he is reunited with his tiger mate Bhodi. Bhodi does not think he can shift or get pregnant. Surprise! The panthera continue to cause problems which will continue into the next book. **You do need to read this series in order.
I’m always thrilled to see a new book in this series. They have all of my favorite things like hurt/comfort, found family, and protecting those who need care. Red and Bodhi were introduced in an earlier book and this is their story. Loved it.
Awesome series. I have gotten past the whole omega, male pregnancy thing within this series. I don't know about the future. I love the characters and the purpose of the organization they have created. I hope the series continues for a very long time.
Too bad this one fell into cliche… they sleep together without knowing each other, there’s way too much smut, and not the same action and building as the others… I like each less than the one before…
