The One Year Secret is Boring. The couple Deanne and Flynn are average Joe Blow couple. She is a teacher with a PHD but not a professor at a university. He does landscaping and part time modeling.
I got almost to the end and then I just started skipping over pages of nothing but sex.
Also, the babies described as being thin and not your chubby baby. Why was this necessary? I like Chubby babies they are soft and they have those lovely folds in the arms and legs. Plump kissable cheeks. I didn't get the purpose of skinny babies. Also they let a one year old roam around the park because she could walk. She was treated more like she was 4 year old.
Its on kindle Unlimited so it was free but a waste of my time!!

Deanne and Flynn - All in the family
Great read. A lot of life’s journey and the bad, the good and the ugly was included. Jack never had a significant role in his book but it would have been nice to see his outcome and if he knew Deanne got pregnant, etc. The title was a little confusing because Deanne wasn’t trying to keep Lana a secret, she had no way of getting in touch with Flynn and didn’t want to tell his sister. Flynn and Deanne made a great couple and great parents. Deanne, with all of her goals for her life, needed the carefree Flynn. All work and no play is not a good look on anyone. I loved both their characters, their comradeship and their love. I don’t recall reading that they got married. Also, did Flynn get the settlement from the accident?

Boring
This book was so boring. I kept reading hoping it would get better.......but ..no it didn't get better. I was trying to give this author another chance, yeah...well.

Sweet
Oh my what a delightful story! One that is definitely enjoyable this is such a fantastic story that has awesome characters, with such great chemistry. This really a funny, exciting, thrilling, sweet passionate Romance! There is a part that will bring a smile to your heart along with such a sweet romantic element, but the one thing I enjoyed so much is the ending. Plus the time spent on building up their relationship is such a delight and so much fun to read even their sons characters are great. Overall this is a five star romance which l greatly enjoyed.

Good book
I really enjoyed the story line and the characters were believable and entertaining. In the beginning the story line was a little confusing and drawn out. The intimate scenes were a little to much but the chemistry between Flynn and Deanne was smoking hot 🔥 and intense. I recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you have to judge for yourself if it is a journey worth taking.

Love has no time limit
It was great how these two came back into contact with each other after so ling. They had went to college together and had crushes on each other and didnt know it. So happy they seen each other at the pub and told each other how they currently felt and ended up sleeping together. Flynn found out he had a baby with a 1 nightdtand Anf the rest is a secret if you haven’t read it yet

Anticlimactic Read
I thought I was going to get this amazing man with alpha tendencies. I didn't get that. It wasn't worth the read because all I got was overly sensitive characters. Both were just too sweet and soft. I finished the book to help reach my reading goal but that's all. It was difficult to finish. Two stars for the HEA ending.

I liked the book because the author was not afraid to write about the fears that every day people think about Deanne and Flynn had issues the needed to get a handle on and face their issues together

loved it!!!
This had everything a great storyline, characters you can relate with and it kept my interest. I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family. I gave it 5 stars because of the storyline and characters.

A nice cute story. I like how the couple worked to make their relationship work. Sometimes things happen and you have to regroup and move forward. They did and were able to grow as a couple together.

I thought the first few chapters were slow including Deanne's time with Jack. But the idea of Deanne and Flynn and their road to HEA was worth the read. I assumed they were married as they mentioned on page 185 that they each had "a spouse who can do research and help out" ...

Too the point...
I liked the fact that the author got straight to the point. There were no repetitive chapters that make you feel like you're wasting your time.
