Mafia Romance
This was a really good Mafia romance book. Logan and Ella have an instant connection but Logan is thrown for a loop when her uncle hires him to kill her. Throughout the first part of the book Logan fights his attraction to Ella and his sense of duty to complete the job he was hired to do. My favorite part of this book is that Logan held off on the physical part of their relationship and didn’t fully embrace their emotional relationship until he opened up to Ella about his job. I liked this because to me their no big betrayal on his part that made it so Ella couldn’t trust him when they had to run for their lives.

I LOVED this book. I was hooked on Logan & Ella as soon as he watched her dancing 😍 I loved Logan, he’s a skilled killer and I expected him to be a grade A asshat but he wasn’t, sure he’s confident & cocky but he’s not a prick. What happens when a hitman is sent to kill a woman ... only to save her and want to protect her? 🔥💛

Very different for me, but worth the read!
I’ll admit that I’m a newbie to this genre, but I totally was into this darker love story! I’m grateful it came with trigger warnings (and it’s definitely for adults), but it didn’t detract for me. Super quick, high value!
