My Thoughts:
Even in someone else's country, Shuri and Sarasa find themselves in a mess! Granted, Japan is involved, but these two just can't win. At least we got a sweet reunion scene and some really good moments between. Of course, that's just going to make it harder when they realize who the other really is.
Right now, we've got Shuri defending Okinawa from his father's troops and Sarasa defending President Asato from assassins! Are they going to end up separated again? And where in the hells are Nagi and Kaku?!
The reunion between Shuri and Saraza was so beautiful! I love that they went to a body of water and were just themselves for a few minutes. Saraza and Shuri are truly in love... I love how Shuri said that he and Saraza are engaged and she got skittish and moved away from him haha so cute....
I am honestly dreading when the truth about their identities will be revealed. Shuri stated “just when I had you, you slipped through my fingers...it feels as though I may never see you again...I wonder why is that?” UGH foreshadowing at its finest. :(
Despite Shuri being such a ruthless king, seeing his expression and his pain learning that almost everyone within his city, the city that he adores so much, betrayed him has really made him wander what it truly mean to be a king. Especially after he sees Okinawa and how peaceful everything is. I hope these encounters can indeed change his heart and make him a better king before it the truth about his fiancée (>\\<) is revealed. I feel like the reveal will destroy both him and Sarasa... ughh

Sarasa and Shuri meets up unexpectedly at Okinawa as both suffers from serious injuries. Her eyesight needs recovery and him from wounds of escape from the Suou revolt. He discovers he needs to change his thinking and actions to grow as a more efficient leader. He asks her to burn his slave tattoo from his back. Both got involved in the Okinawa election/assassination attempts. She finds the democracy a way to live and breathe peacefully, wanting to take what she's learned back to Japan. He finds the splendor and abundance breathtaking, though they lack military and functional ideas to prevent nature from continually ruining the crops.
Unlike all the other volumes, there wasn't really anything in this one that made me go "!!!!!"
Not to say that it was bad, but even with the assassination attempt on the president of Okinawa and Sarasa reuniting with Shuri, there wasn't a whole lot that moved me.
However, with Sarasa getting her sword back at the end and getting back into her Tatara mindset, it looks like I might enjoy the end volume more.

The best volume so far. The reunion of Sarasa and Shuri was very touching. The story is still hopelessly naive but for a shojo manga, it's really awesome.
