Second Chance Hero is a fun contemporary romance by Michelle Major. This is a short story, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Major has provided readers with a well-written book populated with a fantastic cast of characters. Hailey tried to help calm a conflict at the coffee shop and ended up getting her face slapped, minutes before she was due for her interview for a new job. Travis was shocked when the woman that interrupted his breakup dashes away. Travis and Hailey's story is packed with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Second Chance Hero and look forward to my next book by Michelle Major. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

6/1/25 - 6/1/25 Second Chance Hero by Michelle Major
This was another book I was given as an advanced copy to read. Unfortunately, I was not able to read it in the time constraint of needed due to eye surgery taking place and not being able to use my eye to see and read. My other eye was totally blurry and not capable of reading anything.
The novel was exceptionally enticing right from the start. Finding an outspoken young upstart that overhears a rather loud confrontation going on in a coffee shop. She has to enter in her two cents, obviously not wanted. Later she runs into the man that the confrontation involved in all places but the interview she was having across the street! It only gets more interesting from there. Finding the gentleman happens to be the CEO that wants to change things after 30 years of the ways had been upsets the Apple cart or does it? Maybe instead it upsets his heart into seeing what others see that his blinders have blocked! Great lessons to learn.

What a fun and romantic short read. I simply adore this author, they are fast becoming a firm favourite of mine, creating characters such as Hailey, Travis and Kiwi, they all pull you in and make you want to be with them, maybe not in the office, but certainly visiting family and eating pot roast. Simply put this is a great story and shows us what an amazing author we have.

Modern day story of a young CEO with a dominating father who can't let go of the reins of an outdoor equipment company. Young CEO meets a down on her luck girl from Montana - and, his harsh demeanor dissolves because of her. Well written, tight novella. I will watch for this author.

This short story was complete and well done. I really enjoyed Hailey and Travis’ meet cute and really, the whole plot was great.
