Something Fishy This Way Comes

Rate this book
An off-beat collection of mini comics produced by Tim Fish from 1989-2006. Fish fans will delight in seeing some of his early work in all its original glory (including “Utopian U.” from his college days!) and delight again when they see new work on an old favorite, “Hop to it!” an ode to hating work as told by frogs. And then there’s also indie rockers “the Cupcakes” in chase-scene trouble, and Matt Mishap who meets the “Mod Monsters of Marvy Manor.” More than a third of the Fish offerings are new and never before seen, including roommate envy in “Things Don’t Always Suck,” and camp adventure with “The Vomiteer.” Each tale in this book supplies a chuckle purchased with campy, quirky humor. A fun sampler of all things Fishy.
