She doesn’t make it easy to forget her, no matter how hard he tries.
Amelia is tired of being ignored. She’s had a crush on the local shifter pack’s beta since she first met him. So, one night, when the pack comes into her place of work, she slips him her number. Michael’s a challenge that she’s accepted. She never backs down from a challenge. Ever.
Michael knows who his mate is. Amelia Victor calls to every fiber of his being, but he refuses to have her. He isn’t mate material, and if he claims her, his entire life will be turned upside down. The stubborn woman isn’t making it easy to forget she exists.
Is it only a matter of time before Amelia finds out who she is to Michael?
“Are you sure you want me and my fucked-up life?” “More than anything.”
The story felt more coherent, and the characters became a bit more engaging. i enjoyed the reading experience more this time, and I’m curious to see where the series goes next.
Curvy Girl Shifters book 2 by DV Fischer I purchased this audio book. I have to say this is the first book of this author I didn’t “love”. I was excited for the couple and loved the whole I am an island and don’t need a mate story line BUT, I think I felt lot as to why he felt that way. I know this is a novella and its insta-love but I still don’t think we got a reason why? Micheal is the beta and not at all happy when he sees his fated mate Amelia is besties with his pack Alpha and his mate. He pushes and pushes Amelia away. She doesn’t give up and is very tenacious about forcing him to communicate with her. I was bummed we didn’t get a sneak into who is next but I am excited for it.
Amelia is just plain tired of being ignored by Michael, the leader of the local shifter’s pack. Amelia has felt his body calling her since day one. The day he walked into her place of work. So she has taken the next step, she slipped him her telephone number. Michael’s a challenge that she’s accepted. She never backs down from a challenge. Ever. Michael keeps the action gritty that complements Ameila’s derring-do exploits. I was pulled in qwwwww7and I related to the deeply troubled, vulnerable and yet resilient Ameila. Lovers of intense action thrillers will be rewarded. It’s a ride I feel fortunate to have taken – a story that will stick in my head for a long time.
Amelia knows what she wants but Michael is playing hard to get!
I've always loved that kind of push and pull between characters as it really drives the story. You can feel the tension and chemistry every time these two are in the same room together. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you want more. I know it did for me.
Love the stories but they are too short. I now understand that the books are continuing a story, but adding new characters to the story. It would be nice if the stories carried on. Maybe discussing why Michael doesn't feel like he would be a good mate to Amelia? What happened in his past for him to feel like this?
I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Amelia can feel the attraction between herself and Michael, but he is ignoring her and she doesn't understand why. Michael had found his mate but he is in denial. He's not ready to be a one woman man but his wolf is in disagreement.
Michel is an idiot and sleep or almost sleep with someone else knowing he has a mate is disrespectful. I don’t like his character but I like the story because it finished Jason and Olivia’s story.
Okay/good read. Still waiting for it to get exciting. Michael the love ‘‘em and leave wolf didn’t want a mate. One sniff of Amelia and he realized she is his mate. He tries to ignore it but his wolf isn’t having it.
I can't imagine being attracted to someone, yet ignoring the bond between them. She didn't understand until she found out they were mates. Once he stopped being an idiot and gave into the bond they got their HEA.
The flah of light and painless shift with clothes on the flash back with not a stitch destroyed to fairytale-ish, and I'm sorry but I can't stand how pushy she is.
This is a very good read with engaging characters. There is a major problem concerning culture, but it is overcome. I liked this book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
I liked it, I liked, I liked it!!! It is a very nice book and peaks curiosity and makes a person to want to read more. They are not boring at all!!! 😚😚😚😍😍😍🥰🥰😍👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏👏👏👏
