Hayashida studied oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts. She has discussed her childhood and artistic inspirations in interviews but maintains a high level of privacy about her personal life, to the point that her true name and face are unknown.
Hayashida's first major manga was Maken X Another (1999-2001), a comic book adaptation of a video game.
Her most famous work is the 23-volumes long Dorohedoro (2000-2018). It was originally serialised in the alternative manga magazine 'Monthly Ikki', but it was later moved to 'Hibana' when Ikki ceased publication, and finally transferred to 'Monthly Shōnen Sunday'. Dorohedoro has been partially adapted into an anime on Netflix in 2018.
Hayashida's most recent manga series Dai Dark began serialisation in 2019 in the pages of Monthly Shōnen Sunday.

Para formar opinión de este cómic tendría que develar mil detalles y no está en mis planes spoilear al incauto lector. Puedo decir que me resulta muy entretenido. El arte puede sonar a Akira, pero más sucio, más variado el mundo, al haber hechiceros con máscaras y artilugios hay más para lucirse.
Puedo criticar que a veces tiene una relación de aspecto raro con las cabezas y cuerpos, pero es mirarle el pelo al huevo.
Es entretenido, original.
Y sí...a la par estoy viendo Arcane y un poco se me mezclan los mundos y conceptos.

No tengo idea de para dónde va a ir la historia y eso me encanta. Y aunque no me enganchara tanto, el dibujo de por sí vale mucho la pena y el mundo que crea Q. dan ganas de explorarlo entero. De lejos, eso sí.

Impresionante tomo doble en en edición argentina. Vol. 3 de 12.

Edición argentina doble con sobrecubierta reversible. La portada rojiza con En que figura por defecto se basa en la del tomo 6 japonés, mientras que el reverso tiene una tapa verdeazulada con Noi basada en la del tomo 5 japonés. Es el primer tomo de esta edición que prioriza la portada par en vez de la impar.
