Mateo
I’m here to do a job. Steal the vase and get the hell out. Easy. At least it would’ve been if I hadn’t witnessed a kidnapping and decided to step in and help. That’s when I meet Milly… And also when I realize I’m in a whole world of trouble.

Milly
I’m used to bad men. In fact, I was raised by one. But when Mateo tells me he’s a bad guy, I can’t believe him. Not when he treats me like the most priceless treasure he’s ever found. It’s easy to fall for a man like him. He saved me, and now he says I’m saving him. Then again, when we take a trip to Paris to transact some of his “business” I start to understand exactly what sort of bad guy he is--a top notch thief. Makes sense. After all, he’s stolen my heart.

MINK's Kitty and coffee are required for this sweet tale of treasures and happily ever after.

I’ve missed MINK’s books so much! Reading Mateo and Milly’s story was very satisfying and they had that classic obsessive love that was never going to keep them apart. It was pretty funny how Milly was so sweet but she said everything that came to mind and she was not shy when it came to Mateo. She had him wrapped around her finger so fast! They had a pretty hot romance and their story was just so good from beginning to end when they got their happily ever after. This has great re-read potential.

"Treasured" is the story of Milly and Mateo.

An art thief on a job meets rescues a damsel in distress, compromising his job. What he doesnt realize is that the sweet, lovely woman will steal his heart.

Loads of fluff and smut in this enjoyable book.

Mission Impossible-Side characters+ Sunshine h=This book.

“Mateo, errr, I mean James, are you all right?” She presses her palm to my cheek.
“I’m fine.” I lean into her touch. “Why?”
“You just looked sort of—I don’t know—worried for a second.”
Jeez, the way she looks at me, the care in her eyes—I still can’t believe how lucky I was to find her in that parking lot.
“I’m great.” I turn and kiss her palm. “Let’s go get some lunch. Then I’m taking you to the Eiffel Tower.”
She smiles, and I can’t help but kiss her. There’s a lot riding on this heist, but there might be even more riding on this unexpected, all-consuming feeling I’m having for Milly.

He’s not your typical handsome. His face is all hard lines and edges. It makes him look fiercer and more intimidating than he already is. I itch to reach out and run my finger along his jaw or the slope of his nose. It’s as if he’s been carved from stone like a protective warrior. Tonight he was my warrior, even if he hadn’t intended to be.

“Mateo.” I gasp as emotions start to flood me. How can I even respond to that? I know it’s sincere and not some line to get me. He’s always had me. From the very first moment he saved me in that parking lot.
“You’re all mine. I’ll never share you, and no one will ever take you from me.” With that, he thrusts all the way inside me. I cling to him. My nails dig into his skin as so many sensations flood my body. “Baby,” he groans. I can’t tell if it’s from pleasure or pain. The expression on his face doesn’t help.
He kisses the few tears that escape. I don’t think they’re from pain. It does hurt, but as quickly as I feel the sharp burst of pain, it fades away. There are too many things to focus on other than that.
Such as the overwhelming feeling of being full. I don’t only mean his cock deep inside me, stretching me to fit him. My heart is too. He’s gone and filled up spaces I hadn’t realized were empty until he was there.
“I’m okay,” I reassure him. He presses his forehead to mine.
“I hate this. You’re hurting, and this is the most pleasure I’ve ever felt in my whole damn life.” That makes me smile. I love that I’m able to give that to him. That I make him feel that way.

“You’re addicted to me?”
“Definitely. I’m in love. I suppose that’s what love is. Being completely wrapped up in someone else.”
“Then I’m definitely in love.” She giggles and lets me lead her to the kitchen.

This couple is endearing. I love the consummated thief who cannot resist the damsel in distress tearing at his heartstrings when she's in dire danger. It's so heroic and bad boy at the same time!

From that moment on, it's a rollercoaster of total devotion, utter lust, and a balance between keeping alive and falling in love.

I've really enjoyed this little story because the girl is super sweet and innocent, yet smart and capable of recognising a man who relishes her care and influence. It's a bonus that he is a professional thief and knows his art.

They share moments of absolute cuteness and ardent passion, and the final part has that dark edge typical of this author. It's really funny how Milly and Mateo deal with the villain in the story. Another thing I like is the new cat to add to the gallery. Perfect for this tale of love and art robbery. 💕

This was such a sweet book. I was really in the mood for something super light and fluffy- and this definitely delivered. Although I usually prefer sort of quick/ shorter books like these, I really ended up appreciating the longer length of this story- I ended up loving it.

The dynamic between the characters and the general story was just so cute.

The couple: Mateo and Milly

Romance genre: insta-love
Length: 144 pages

Plot: Mateo is a world-class thief who has been hired to steal a vase from a museum (I think on a college campus). As he is in the parking lot about to leave, he sees a girl being kidnapped. He intervenes and kills the two kidnappers, and when Milly (the girl) jumps on him to hug him in thanks, he drops and breaks the vase. He can't leave her behind though because she could be in danger. He takes her home with him and even as they grow closer, she refuses to tell him her last name. She doesn't want her family to ruin what she and Mateo are building.

Commentary:
There was a line where Mateo thought about Milly being neurodivergent. I love that that particular phrasing was used. I don't know if Milly is autistic (girls often present so differently than boys, and boys are what I'm familiar with), but she certainly had some differences that gave her trouble. She was precious though. She was honest and delightful and real and naive, like most MINK heroines.

There was a shout-out to a couple of other Mink books (including my favorite, Stuffed) - I enjoyed that!

Great, sweet, quick read.

Mink delivers a sweet, swoon worthy read that has all the feels along with the spicy heat that hits all the spots.

She never fails to engage a reader with a read that hooks you in. The characters, the female in particular is relatable. The innocence is appealing, the quirks they have are awesome.

The male leads hit it out of the park.

An automatic one click every time.

It’s a yes from me.

3.4 stars.
Short, sweet, with just enough spice to make the simple plot worth it.
This was cute.
I love the name of Mateo’s cat. So perfect.
The plot was exciting but super simple, with very very little drama. Just a tiny confrontation with Mateo’s client.
Plus we get that cute naïveté that a most of MINK’s FMCs have. And, of course she’s a virgin to go along with that.

There’s wasn’t much to this, but it was enjoyable.

I'm not sure what I expected (but I definitely know what to expect in future). This book was all sex, bit of drama, rinse and repeat.

In all, it did its job satisfactorily (a bit of drama, a dash of danger, and loads of steam).

❤️❤️❤️

It was Mink so of course it was amazing. The sweetest, most adorably awkward and sweet heroine who tames a harsh, aloof hero. All the swoon

Hero’s past isn’t mentioned. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to the hero. No others, cheating or abuse whatsoever. HEA with epilogue years out.

This was an awesome book. I loved Mateo and Milly together. The connection and chemistry between these scorching hot. Milly is really sweet, naive, clingy and just who Mateo needs and wants in his life. Mateo didn't plan on meeting Milly but there was something about her the he could no let go. I loved this book and I would highly recommend it and Ms. Mink as must read author.

I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Mateo and Milly

I was not a huge fan of Mateo, at first. Mateo does come around in a big way. Milly finally finds the love she has been missing in her life. There are some laugh out loud moments! HEA.

Treasured is the story of Mateo and Milly.

Age gap (i think), professional thief x hero's collector's daughter, she's a rutherford and they're considered to be ruthless and tyrants but it's all just her father being her father. Her father treats her like a pawn and doesn't think much of her. Her brother is a good guy and a manwhore but he's cute. Mateo saves her while stealing a vase while she was being kidnapped by rival families. He lets go of the vase and it smashes while trying to save her. He curses himself for breaking it but eventually stops to take in her beauty and innocence. It's almost like insta love but it's more insta attraction. He basically takes her cuz she's in college and they could easily find her and the next day they're off to Paris for the next hunt her father asked for. He claims her there and the lingerie scene was hot to see him all riled up. BAHAHAHAHA. He gets the vase and there's this whole spy kids scene and it ends with him claiming her all over again. They get back and she goes to her father's house to see him, and her father already knows that Mateo is coming with her since he's with her and also because a bounty is placed on him by her father. Yeh, they have this huge brawl with Howard (her father) telling his guards to kill him but Mateo has a trick and uses it to his advantage by telling him that's a fake vase and that he'll give the real one if he lets them leave and gives them his blessing for marriage and he does due to the extremities he went through to get it. HEA and kids, Mrs. Verne is such a cool old lady ngl. BAHAHAHAHA. She had to send feet pics to get information on Howard BAHAHAHAHA.

Liked very much

This is one of my favourite MINK Books I've read in awhile. I love her as an author, there really is NO ONE that can write her particular " brand" of goodness in this genre... So there is that reason why MINK is a great author, ( there are many authors that are great that I deem in my top 10 favs of this genre but most of them , while special and unique in their own right, still are similar enough to at least a few others that their "brand" isn't quite as rare of irreparable as MINK's writing is) . .. THAT SAID, I mean to point out only that it's not that I love of like all of the books MINK has put out, only that when I do read one, they at in a league of their own and worth a 100 books that she could put out that is only deem 3 stars..
In honesty now that I'm thinking of how I normally rate and review book ( I generally have a sorta "sliding scale" rating system ) I'm realising that I don't use it when it comes to MINK books; meaning I guess subconsciously I hold them to a higher standard, because I'd have given this 5 stars ( mindful of that sliding scale method I generally use) if this were another author in this genre ( I can only think of 3 others that I might hold to a higher standard if that)...
So point being good MINK book! Dec click and read!

Treasured was about Mateo Klein, a professional thief, and Millicent "Milly" Rutherford, the daughter of a crime lord.

Mateo met Milly as he was escaping the clutches of a security guard who was on his tail after he stole an expensive vase. He was near his car when he heard her scream, noting that two men were trying to kidnap her. Once he took care of them, he hurried away with her in his car. But neither one of them was willing to fully expose themselves to the other, so last names weren't exchanged. However, Mateo needed to steal another vase for his "client" due to what happened to the first one or lose his life. He wasn't willing to give up Milly, even when he secretly learned her identity.

This book had so many errors that they detracted from the story. Enough of a distraction that it was too easy to put the book down and walk away...which I don't normally do...for a full 24 hours. The dropping of much-needed words, the use of the wrong word, and the punctuation errors were horrible.

The whole story was so OTT that it was laughable. It was more rom-com than anything, so I let it get away with a ton of no-nos. However, I couldn't let it get more than a two-star rating. It just didn't earn it.

You never know when you will find a treasure.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a little bit of drama. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Howard was lame and a major jerk. He got some comeuppance but I don’t think he even realized that he got it since his valuation system was so messed up. Mrs. Verne was wonderful with her snarky sarcasm that sometimes turned to just plain sass. Mateo and Millie met when Mateo saved Millie from an attempted kidnapping. They were both attracted to each other immediately. Scarab cracked me up with his reaction to Millie. Mateo’s reaction to Scarab was hilarious. I did a lot of laughing during this story. Mateo was amazing. He was sweet and caring, but protective and possessive too. Mateo let Millie know that she was important to him which was a first for her. He could be my new book boyfriend anytime. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Mateo is a top notch thief tasked with stealing some of the most priceless artifacts ever. However, when he sees a woman being kidnapped her looses his treasure in the process. But one look at Milly makes him realize he may have just found the most priceless thing of all!

Milly has grown up around bad men and that's the reason she just can't believe Mateo is one. After all he saved her from a kidnapping attempt and treats her like she is his most prized possession. When it's revealed who her father is Milly hopes that the love that blooming between them will be enough to keep her safe!

This one is a good change of pace! Normally MINK's books revolve around hitmen or the mafia so to have a thief in the mc was very fun. This story was very engaging and I really liked Mateo and Milly's dynamic. Something about a reluctant hero just tickles me!

Overall this is a great one to start with if you are looking at getting into MINK because it is a standalone, and not really apart of the other worlds!

Classic Mink

A Thief, a foiled kidnapping and a cat. Sounds outlandish but it’s actually classic Mink. Somehow the most outrageous stories still seem plausible when I read her books. Treasured was no different. Over the top, instalove, full of spice just the way I like it. The way this book unfolds is almost comical. I definitely laughed out loud more than a few times but just when I thought the ridiculousness was taking the story off the rails she snuck the sweet stuff in on me. The way Mateo inexplicably loves Milly is painfully sweet. Even when he doesn’t understand it he still wants her safe and protected. Watching him care for Milly so tenderly almost melted my heart. Overall 3 solid stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Milly and Mateo's story was like a slice of cheesecake with caramel sauce, decadent. Mateo is a professional thief. In the course of stealing an expensive piece of antiquity, he sees a beautiful woman screaming for help. With her being dragged to a kidnapper van by two creeps, Mateo can't help but save her. Whisking her off to his home, it is impossible for him to let her go. She is sweet, funny, smart and too sexy for words. So delightful and fun, I flew right through their story. 5 stars for Milly and Mateo!
