The steamy and dramatic sequel to Tattooed Love by Simone Elise. A lot can change in six years. Jax’s sentence is coming to an end, and Amber has been a ghost since the day she walked off the prison grounds.
With Jax on the outside, and their son becoming more like his father every day, will Amber be able to stay away?
Amber
When I left Jax behind bars I made a promise to myself. I would never let him near my child, or my life, ever again. I’ve kept that promise, leaving behind the biker life and staying hidden from my brothers and most importantly from the man who ripped out my heart. But hiding and moving on are two very different things. How am I supposed to get over someone who’s eyes I stare into every day in the form of my son...my Jack...who is his spitting image? Do I see Jax again? Do I tell him about his boy? With his release just around the corner, I better figure it out pretty damn quick.
Jax
I told her to leave. That was always the deal; if I went away, Amber and I were finished. But a man’s got a lot of time to think in here, and the past years without my girl have been the hardest of my life. Do you know how many days are in 6 years? I do. Because for every single one of those days I’ve had my club searching for the woman I love. The woman I asked to marry me. The woman I kicked out of my life. As soon as these prison gates open, there is only one thing I care about and that is finding my girl, and getting things back to the way things were, just the two of us, no distractions. Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules
The Ending to Jax and Ambers Story.
Ends with HEA. No Cliffhanger. Previously published as Satan's Sons Book Two Book 2: Motorcycle Romance
omfg watching this dumb ass bitch get manipulated over and over and over and over again by this dumb ass fucking tattoo dickhead is actually pissing me the fuck off because what do you mean he was going to leave and she let him stay all cause he kissed her like bitch if you don’t stand the fuck up I swear every chapter is a repeat he threatens to leave and she’s like okay then fucking leave and he’s like no I’m just joking I’m just scared like literally just shut the fuck up how old are we? She has a child to worry about you’ve been in prison and you haven’t matured once and in the first book he went on about calling her immature you’re literally immature like the gaslighting and manipulation is actually insane in this book and she just keeps falling for it and I had to DNF this book 25% in because it was just so horrible and there’s still once again no plot line there’s no character development I was praying maybe like realizing he has a child would make him grow the fuck up but it hasn’t and she’s still immature as well. like she’s saying she wants to put her son first, but how is getting with this fucking stupid ass nigga in her child’s best interest he hasn’t had a father in six years i think he’ll be okay for the rest of his life like he literally has tae oh my gosh and the author continuously makes the other men in her life do something horrible to make Jackson seem like the best dude like first it was Blake with the domestic abuse and now we have will not putting her before his case but oh no it’s all good because there’s Jackson to save the day like oh my gosh, this made me never ever want to read a book again and the way she disappeared for six years and never spoke to her brothers during that time like what the fuck and don’t even get me started on her stupid ass brothers letting her get with this dude over and over talking about some oh she’s running back to the same old dude like maybe stop her then? and her fucking father is all of a sudden some dickhead like I can’t anyways just don’t read this book It’s not worth it
This was the second book in the series and it was up and down but my favourite part was the bit where she stood up to the teacher I would love to do something like that it's a perfect Karma and I love that. But the ending and the explanation of her step sister was a little confusing because it didn't get explained properly. But the rest of the book was good but not MC strong but love strong
The first book was ok I really read the second to see if things were buttoned up and finished. However there was a lot of self talk and repetition and overly explaining things. I felt like they were suppose to be in another country but finally at the end they say they’re in the United States which a lot of stuff didn’t sound right, and the cover says Australia. I feel like there was so much left unfinished and this ended on a cliff hanger.

Wow this was good. I think both Jax and Amber did a lot of growing up since book one, although a little too much in Amber’s case and a little late in Jax’s. What counts is that there’s growth. There are some tricky topics that may be triggering. Eating disorders, severe depression, graphic violence, discussion of past abortion, self harm and threat to unalive themself, language, sugared-up kids. Basically, let the book buy you dinner, and if you call out “Trigger” later, it won’t be the wrong name. I enjoyed the characters. I enjoyed that they were unrepentant and unashamed about being underworld figures. I admired Amber’s policy of honesty with her son. And I think several male secondary characters should be taken out to the woodshed. I just loved the book. My only real issue is that a couple of storylines were teased and never followed through. Like the brothers’ money issues and how things were settled with one of the aforementioned woodshed men who has a penchant for domestic violence. Here’s the breakdown: Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Jax and Amber Genre- MC Romance Tropes- Duet Part II, First Love, Second Chance, Secret Baby.
The story progressed well throughout. Really enjoyed this series. A good flow to it that makes it a quicker read than other books even though the book length is 400 pages.
The world of Jax and Amber is continued. Amber makes a horrifying decision at the start of this and Jax spends the book redeeming himself for leaving her so easily in book 1. Little Jack is great and her brothers are also good characters. Tyler develops a love interest. I loved when Amber withdrew her money from the school and stood her ground with that to teach the pompous teacher a lesson about judging books by their covers!
Book number 2 on kindle had only a few typos/word errors compared to book 1 which had a considerable amount.
Some parts with Will and Tae I was expecting more to come of it than it did which was making me nervous reading but I suppose the plus there is I didn't need to be so nervous about what they'd do as not much came of either of their threats in the end.
I loved the story and couldn't put the two books down, I was a bit disappointed in the ending of book 2. I thought it was rushed and it just seemed to jump to far while leaving huge plot holes or leaving too many loose threads in their story. It's like the author got sick of writing it and decided to cut her losses, and just chucked a rough ending in. It kind of did a disservice to an otherwise great story that should be worth 5 stars. It's not like her to do that. And of she sees this review, she should revise and redo the ending because it's otherwise really is a great story.. Here's hoping book 3 answers the plot holes and lose threads of book 3.
Really good conclusion to the first book, love how you jax or amber didnt end up running from each other and kept resolving what had come their way. I feel like near the end the book kinda was just not really going into the depth as previous chapters, sort of like it got to tye point where alot was scrapped and they just had a HEA, alot of problems they faced werent mentioned after the initial when they were then just not mentioned again for a few examples, will, tea, mason, budding romance of troy and chelsea (would love a book on those two though), ambers arrest, jacks school situation. I just felt that it had alot of potential to clean up the loose ends, i didnt even need it to be problematic, just that it got resolved.

I read both these books in 2 days, I couldn’t put it down.
Jax had so much growing up to do and Amber had a lot to work through. And a lot of their fights had me rolling my eyes because they honestly just didn’t even listen to each other and went in circles.
I dropped a star because:
A few things were left unanswered and they could have been easily cleared up, second thing was editing. This story (both books) needs a serious edit because holy cow it’s bad. Missing words, doubled up words. So many basic mistakes which made it disappointing.
However, overlooking those issues, the story is incredibly beautiful. So glad I read it.
I really have to say Simone can really tell a good MC romance. The storyline was just well written and I didn't find myself bored or losing interest. This two book series, blew my mind away. I was sad when I finished it, I wish there was more. The story between Amber & Jax was so heartbreaking. They went through a lot of drama together between MC & family bull. Definitely a book to read if you love reading a bout hot motorcycle outlaws with a love for causing stuff. Then this your book, plus a love story thrown in. Trust me this series won't disappoint. I hope to read more about Amber's brothers and their crazy stories and hoping they find happiness.
I really enjoyed this couple - minus the breaking up and making up multiple times - and the brothers were an entertaining addition. Coming to the end of book 2, I thought it was setting up for book 3, but then everything just ended. There are so many unanswered questions. What about Tae and his threat to kill and her take her son. Or Wills threat to sue for custody of Jack or Mason and Chelsea and Troy...
Well that was unexpected. The other comments make a lot more sense now. The ending of the book is very abrupt and really does leave a lot of issues unresolved. It’s like the author just got bored and ended the book and that’s including a very brief epilogue. The grammar and spelling problems are just as bad as in book 1, possibly worse. It detracted from the storyline and awful lot.
This book had a lot of potential and definitely needs proofreading for grammar.
There were a lot of scenes where I felt like I couldn’t put it down. However, there was a lot of loose ends by the ending of this. Nothing came about of Will and Tae. There was no confrontation with them so it left it with questions. The ending was severely rushed and jumped a few years without saying that.
After the shambles of the first book I told myself I wouldn't pick this up but the ending made me do it. I was just as annoyed with the writing in this book. Some serious editing is needed! And the ending felt like the author had gotten fed up of writing and just dlapped an ending in place with no lead up whatsoever... I won't be continuing now...
Really enjoyed this series. Which is why I gave it 4 stars.
The editing is really not good so just re read anything that doesn't quite add up. But the story ended so quickly. The last 10 pages or so should have been dragged out to hundreds and so many loose ends but an epilogue?!
it was pretty good for most of it but started to get annoying with all the back and forth like i get girly didn’t trust him but like god damn the mixed signals and push and pull i was like damn. but he ends up leaving the gang which plot twist that doesn’t really get explained. low key wanted a book or more info on troy and chelsi will have to look into that
I have followed this author since I read her books on whattpad. I can’t express how her books pull you in and it’s like your the character. I think I’ve fallen In love with every book she has wrote. I wish I could find me a Jax!
They are together again Amber, Jax, and there son Jack. 💙 They have battles to fight from the past. They love family and friends, that's like family. Fight to make a home 🏡.
Loved seeing a happy ending for Amber and Jax, but the start of chapter 28???? like i was so confused with everything that was said, so much was said but didn’t dive into much detail about it.
I loved this story of Jax and Amber, My heart broke for them but as the story went on it was mended. I really hope that Troy and Chelsea get their own HEA together.
By far one of my favorite series!! I absolutely love this author. Timeless had me laughing, crying, and feeling every bit of the main characters feelings!
SPOILERS: Loved the books some unanswered questions like will? Tae?? A sudden jump from him standing down. Thrown me through a loop but eager to read book 3
