excellent world building!

This story was captivating, well written, and had interesting elements. This book focuses on two sisters, Faithful Servant, A naïve loyal servant to The Highest and her younger sister Loyal Servant, A feisty firecracker! In this world, name means everything. After a treasure is stolen and thereprotector is killed, both sisters are punished, faithful servant receiving banishment from her country and being stripped of her name. Hersister is sent to serve the seekers for four years. Both women grow, learn, and be, strong warriors. I don’t wanna ruin too much, because this story has surprises. But I can’t say, that the ending is satisfactory and wrong doors really do pay. If you’d like a story with female warriors, magic, action, Romance, and self discovery, this is the book for you!

I don’t usually read in this genre, so l was somewhat anxious about whether l would enjoy the book. Well ! Surprise, surprise,l hated to put it down. I found this book throughly enjoyable. This is the third book in a series, so the setting and the characters were obviously well defined in the earlier books but that did not reduce my enjoyment at all. This book can easily be read as a standalone.
A very captivating story with the fate of two young girls always in the forefront. I was initially annoyed at the mistreatment of the two by the authorities but that only created an opportunity for adventure for both girls. I fretted over whether they would be reunited given they were so young and innocent when parted.
As a said, a great read that l would recommend to anyone looking for a fantasy adventure.

A Book about choices

This book is about making right and wrong choices. The title speaks for itself on the many directions the characters chooses to go. The names of the characters are interesting like Faithful Servant and the Highest dealing with hierarchy and admonishing others based upon superficial appearances. Indeed this story gives a good moral and I recommend anyone to read it.

A straight forward, in your face adventure!

I can not tell a lie. I picked up this book and began reading it without realizing it was the third book in the series. Despite that, it was thoroughly enjoyable. I liked how Thomson used his naming convention did the characters to offer a good deal of foreshadowing. I am now grabbing books one and two so I can get the whole picture!

A continuing story

I read the first book of the series and was an interesting and fun read. The characters were a strange bunch in choosing life names that coin side with their personality of who they are. The use of magic in their weapons was strange and the storyline continued to be interesting through to the end. A great series for YA readers.

fantasy read

I don’t read a ton of fantasy but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters, the world, it was all magical. The twists and turns the sisters go through keep you on the edge of your seat.

Interesting

It is not my typical genre choice. The writing style is not what im used to either. The characters are not traditionally named. I respect it as a work. It is good. It is unique. I like it. You should read it.
