As leader of the Revolutionary faction, Nova isn't ready to put her trust in the shifters. After all, they stood by and did nothing for years as the people of Shelter City were treated like animals.

A riveting read that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of , simply fantastic reading
Prince Kane is a well-known face and as the Ambassador for the dragon shifter monarchy, they many have finally been able to rid themselves of the Federation which was filled with evil, the prisoners that had been freed were now in their own part causing chaos.
Nova is the first female that has ever actually managed to un nerve him and is Prince Kane is truly honest it is fair to say that even though this female and her ideas go against everything he believes in she still manages to attract him.
Then there was the virus that managed to wipe out thousands of females on their planet, Nova’s mother had been a revolutionary leader and Nova has inherited their belief and their mission in the conflict between females and she was determined to bring these forces together to fight for what they believed was right.
I assure you that once you begin reading this book you will be blown away and unable to put the book down until you reach the end and discover the outcome.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I thoroughly enjoyed Fire Prince as with her usual mesmerizing gift for storytelling the author has penned another engaging read with this fourth entry to the Qurilixen Lords series.
Cysgodian rebel Nova who is the daughter of a revolutionary leader, has lots of trust issues that will soon come into play when she is found wounded by dragon shifter, Prince Kane after her people's rebellion in Shelter City is put down.
Kane isn’t looking for a romance but there is something about Nova that stirs his inner fires, which in turn creates lots of conflict because of his role as ambassador for his people in Shelter City and the desire for the feisty revolutionary warring within him. Their story is a very passionate, and riveting narrative filled with intrigue, action and adventure as two dueling personalities find their common ground and love amidst the political chaos surrounding them.

The Qurilixen world combines everything I love to read. A sci-fi world that you would love to live in, the male shifters have an old fashioned way about them similar to the medieval times but they are intelligent and up to date also. This current generation of the Draig and Var aren’t fighting each other anymore yet still have trials. One of them being the Cysgodians they have allowed to live on Qurilixen since their planet has become uninhabitable. Nova takes seriously what her role would have been as a Cysgodian. She is finally stepping into her mothers shoes as a leader of her people. She has to ignore her attraction to a dragon man, right? A fast paced story with lots of action and sensual chemistry to burn makes this tale a definite 1-Click.

This is a true page turner with the action starting right from beginning. It starts off running and doesn't slow down for anything or anyone. A million things are going on at once but connect so seamlessly due to Michelle M Pillow's writing. It also had me more emotional than normal.
I adore Nova's character. She's spunky, smart and shows bravado even while terrified. Her younger friend, "little warrior" as Zoran calls her, is one of my most favorite side characters as of now. Now Kane, who doesn't love a beautiful dragon shifter? For him to do a certain thing without a certain other thing just blew me away. Yevgen, the cyborg himself, played a very part in this story. Several times in fact. I am a tad miffed at him. He should have done what he did at the end, sooner. Especially for Justina's sake.
Anyway, it's a fantastic book and probably one of my faves in the series. I apologize that me review was rambling but I really didn't want to spoil anything. 1 click worthy without a doubt.

Having gotten rid of the evil Federation and freed the Cysgod people, things are still chaotic and no one trusts the others which means the threat of civil war is a good possibility. Kane and Nova feel an attraction to each other, but each of them is from a different group experiencing the hostility and all of her ideas are opposite to what he is trying to do here. She doesn’t realize that although she is working for a better life for her people, Kane had not been permitted to interfere while the Federation was in power. But now he wants to help right some of the wrongs done to them. Will she give him a chance?

Fans always expect the best from the author and as always, she meets our expectations with Fire Prince.
The aftermath of years of horrible treatment by the Federation has finally ended but what now? Nova's mother was a leader and she feels she has inherited as her replacement. She doesn't trust the shifters will be any better than the evil Federation. She meets a fire shifter and has a pull she isn't prepared to handle. He and his dragon feel the draw to this woman as well.
Will the politics and threats keep them apart or will they be able to find each other and work for their people and themselves? The characters, the steam, and the story will all keep you reading and wanting more. Enjoy.

Fabulous series, loved this book
The voice of Michael Ferraluolo sets the alien world scene for me as soon as l hear his voice after listening to so many of Michelle's books with his narration. l had wondered how this book would play out, the rebellion had been a long time coming and the federation needed to face the consequences. The dragons had been long helping on the sly with food but Nora was not aware of this and treats the dragons as enemies too. l especially love the cyborg and his love of the princess. RECOMMENDED ROMANCE SERIES.

I am loving this series. Kane and Nova's story continues the story about Shelter City and their constant fight for rights and freedom. Nova and Kane both are drawn into this by familial responsibilities and are both trying to do what is expected of them, but there is a bond between them that they cannot deny. This book was exciting, steamy, and I really liked the characters. Like all stories in this series it had me hooked from the moment I started reading. I can't wait to read the next one!

Nova is a spitfire and a leader to her followers. She cares more about her people and the children. Unlike her brother who has other plans. Prince Kane isn’t looking for romance as he is trying to stop civil war.
To stop a civil war, they both must trust each other. But can a dragon shifter and a rebel leader trust each other? Grab the book to find out!
The story is very addicting and the narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo did a wonderful job portraying the characters with a wide variety of tones and inflections.

I love reading about the children of the original dragon princes. Now Kane is an interesting character his father was Olek and I can see some of him in his son. Nova is a firecracker herself and together they burn brightly. I loved the dynamic between these too spicy from the beginning and I wouldn't have it any other way. I loved this book and I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series.

Excellent paranormal dragon shifter romance that had excellent characters. Grier is the future king of the dragons Selena is being hunted by the Federation as an escapee. When they meet their lives change forever. There’s suspense, magic, suspense, mystery and romance. I received a complimentary copy of the book and chose to write a review.

I love Michelle M. Pillows books. She did not disappoint with this one. Nova is a faction leader of the Cysgodians. Kane is a dragon prince. After defeating the federation they must come together to help their peoples. She feels that her people won't understand if the two are together since the Cysgodians don't trust the shifters. Will they be able to come together and bring peace to the planet?

The princes and the other Draig and Var warriors are running the Federation off the planet and now the Cysgodians are determined that they are entitled to run over the planet since the Federation is gone. Nova is hurt and Kane brings her to the palace once she is well she is taken and questioned but regrets it when she cannot prevent herself from speaking the truth. Nova and Kade realize they have feelings for each other early on. The Draig and the Var are having none of it when they have a meeting with the different faction heads doesn't end well all they want is something for themselves. They seem to be totally unhappy with what the Draig and Var are offering because the Federation told the Cysgodians so many lies they do not believe anything that is being said in the meeting. Nova is part of the Revolution faction and some seem to listen to her but the main problem is with Doyen who didn't seem to be in his right mind because what his faction believed in was insane but he kept right on preaching his nonsense until Doyen had a meeting with the lions in the marsh and devised a plan which almost starts a war. An adventurous and action-packed storyline as well as entertaining characters. Drama, suspense, danger, violence, pager turner, and romantic love. Finally, the Federation has been run off, leaving a temporary power void. All the various leaders in Shelter City meet with the Shifters to discuss what will happen to the Cysgodian’s now.
During the battle, Kane lost his crystal that tells him when he is near his mate and on his way out of the city Kane sees an injured lady and takes her to the medical unit to recover.
Nova has been told from a young age that she was to be the leader of the revolutionists, and in this capacity, she attends the meeting where she can’t take her eyes off one of the shifters.
This was a wonderful read; there is a lot of unrest and bad feelings in Shelter city, the shifters had their hands tied by the federation but the residents of the city believed all the lies the Federation told them about the true residents of the planet and it is going to take quite a miracle to stop the unrest and for them to work together against the Federation. Sorting out the truth from the lies and who can and can’t be trusted made this a page turner and the real reason behind the Federations motives was a complete surprise to me!

He helped get rid of the Federation and is setting up meetings to work with the people of Shelter City. The first meeting did not go well because there are 7 factions in the city. Everyone is distrustful and only interested in their own agenda. He is surprised to see Nova there. He didn’t even know her name until then.
As events push them together, neither can resist the other. But the journey will be long and dangerous until they can be together! Don’t miss this one!.

It is a harsh life when you inherit responsibilities from a family member. They made their choice, yet you have none and you are expected to carry on in their stead whether you wish to or not. Nova is a revolutionary leader by default. She has grown up with whispered stories of the old days which no one wishes to speak of any more. Their current situation is dire and there is nothing for it but they will have to see what they can get from the shifters. These are a species not to be trusted but as Nova slowly comes to know one more personally, how much of it was propaganda. Kane is another one who is under the yoke of duty and having had responsibilities passed on to him by family. It not by his own choice he is where he is but suddenly there is the strongest draw for him to stay right there. He is trying to show how he and his people can help but it all seems so mired in untruths. Where does that leave him and the one who calls out to him?

Which Path Will You Choose
Prince Kane and Nova talk about two worlds colliding in not necessarily in a good way.
Nova is a nice and strong female lead in this story who is torn in many directions but who has her own code of conduct that she doesn't want to compromise.
Prince Kane is also torn in many directions, but his mind and body lean towards another which is a conflict he must learn to resolve for his kingdom.
In this book you will read about choices and actions that will not always make sense but bring a realism to the story for the reader to enjoy. Rest assures those actions will make sense in the end.
Loved their story.

Don't (pass the opportunity to read this book)
The more I read about the children of the Var and Draig Princes and their respective mate, the more enthralled I am with their stories!
Sure thing, this book, like all of Michelle M. Pillow's books, can be read as a standalone, so to paraphrase Kane and Nova: don't pass the opportunity to read it!
It will be very worth your time, even though, if you're a sensitive person like me, you WILL get angry at the Cysgodian faction leaders. Don't let this stop you. All will come in good time if you have patience.

I have read practically every book in the Qurilixen World Series and this book is just another example of how brilliant Michelle is at what she does. This world has evolved over the space of the whole books and I honestly believe it just keeps getting better. Kane has lost his mating crystal, not a good thing to happen to a dragon shifter especially one of royal blood. Nova fights him on almost every single thing, though secretly they both want each other.
Loved this book, loved the story going on in the background on this book. Hope I get my hands on the next book soon.

This one threw me a bit I have read the previous books and the male dragons could not fly in them so in this one they do. Then the book explained so was less confused. Kane is a prince and Nova is a leader of aliens taken refuge on Qurilixen due to their planet having a virus. These two are on opposite side but can they come together.

Another fantastic book from the talented author Michelle M Pillow. I enjoyed this series as we get to see some familiar characters as well as new ones. The continuation of the story and what the characters are going through has been thoughtfully dealt with. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Nova is a fearless revolutionary, fighting for her people’s survival and freedom—but her methods clash with Kane’s more measured approach.
When Nova’s people’s fate hangs in the balance, she has to charm Kane, but trust is in short supply on both sides. Sparks fly, alliances shift, and both have to decide if they’re willing to risk everything for love—and for peace.
Michael Ferraiuolo’s voice is smooth, with just the right amount of gravitas for Prince Kane’s character. He balanced the serious political moments with a warmth and subtle humor during the romantic and lighter scenes. His portrayal of Nova (even though the story is mostly from Kane’s POV) was clear and convincing, keeping the story dynamic.
There were a couple of minor pacing blips, but overall his delivery kept me hooked.
Would I Recommend It?
Definitely! If you like:
• Sci-fi/fantasy crossovers with shifters
• Strong, independent heroines with a cause
• Slow-burn but steamy romance
• Political drama and high stakes
• A blend of action, heart, and heat without going full NSFW.

I love reading this follow up series to The Dragon Lords and the Lords of the Var. It gives the stories of their kids and what is happening to the planet.
Fourth kid up - Kane - son of Olek and Nadja from the Perfect Prince.
With the Federation gone, the Cysgodians are mistrusting of their new overlords - the shifters. Even though the shifters have offered food, medical treatment, and access to decontaminators. With most of the Cysgodians still believing that the radiation from the food simulators and the medical booths will harm them, building trust with the shifters is going to be a long har road. Nova a leader from one faction of Cysgods and Kane a representative of the Draig try to fight their attraction to each other.
This story really shows the desperation of the Shelter City residents and the differences between the various factions. The drama caused by the factions was so absorbing that I did not put this book down. I loved Salena's questioning of Kane. It's a great story and I cannot wait to see what happens next. The threat of the Federation is still out there and there are a whole bunch of shifters in this generation that need mates.
I have enjoyed every series that is tied to Qurilixen and whole heartedly recommend them all.

“She didn’t want to believe Kane would hurt her.”
I love Michelle’s Dragon Lords series. It’s one of my all time favorite sci fi romance series. So I was super excited to read this book about Kane as he’s the son Olek and Nadja from book two, Perfect Prince. Just as I loved his mother and father’s love story, so too did I adore Kane and Nova.
This story is very different. Kane and Nova are opposing political sides. Qurilixen Is also different as the Federation is gone. There is a lot of plot in this book and I can’t honestly promise it can be read completely as a stand alone. There’s just too much that’s happened in the past. If you’ve never read the earlier books in this series or the Dragon Lord books, then you’re missing half of what’s going on.
The next book in this series is about the daughter of a couple from one of the books in the Lords of the Var series. I haven’t read any of them yet. Since the release date in May 2023 I think I have time to catch up before it comes out. I truly love this world Michelle has created and hope she never stops writing about it.
