This story can be read as a standalone complete with an HEA. However, to enjoy it more, you can read Rita and Ben's story - Shots Fired - also available on Amazon.
Emem Bassey loves romance in all its forms. She writes what she terms a hybrid romance - love stories with bits and pieces of other genres. All her stories carry plus size heroines and she staunchly believes the world is filled with tragedy, so she writes to entertain and lighten hearts. Emem lives at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and is basically a ghost to her neighbors.
I thought Hooked Up was a good story. I loved the characters Tiabasi and Nathan. What Max did to his friends was unforgivable. I also liked that the characters from Shots Fired were in this book. I loved the story!!
