The ancients are coming. And they’re after everyone Abby loves.
Abby Brennan is in serious trouble. After causing magical mayhem, the ancients are eager to make an example of her. White and dark magic users have abandoned her—an order from the magical trio. Now she and Sam are facing trial.
The emergence of a new fivefold power between Abby and her guardians hints at a way to fight back. But the sporadic elemental energy is weak and, worse, unmanageable.
On the eve of her trial, an unlikely ally and a person from Abby’s past offer their help. A plan soon unfolds to stem the magical trio’s control using the elemental power. But a shock ruling by the ancients could mean the fivefold can never be attained.
With the ancients’ ruling yet to be delivered, all Abby has left is the fivefold. Can she and her guardians wield the power of the elements to stop the ancients from taking over all magic?
KATE GELLAR is an Irish author of the Magical Mate series and Midnight Eternal series, steamy paranormal romance.
Kate writes hot, heart-pounding stories filled with feisty heroines and morally-gray men who can’t get enough of each other. She loves to add twists to keep you guessing, amid a backdrop of delicious heat and sizzling chemistry.
In a magical tale of the power of connections and love, Kate Gellar brings the Irish Rogues series to a close with MAGIC TRIAL as Abby and her four protectors must face off against the ancients as all magic users abandon her to discover the secret to controlling all of their powers. Does she have what it takes to unite them and master the force they hold within?
Abby seems to have finally begun to accept who and what she is, that sex is the connection with her protectors and there is more to it then sharing the physical aspects. She also discovers there is more to the ancients than meets the eye and if magic is to survive in balance, she must learn to trust in herself and her destiny.
Once again, Kate Gellar has created a tale of good versus evil, trust and believing in oneself, because failure is not an option. The four protectors have grown into their roles perfectly, becoming a cohesive unit, but Abby’s tendency to call them her “boys,” actually detracted from the story for me. I think I found that this time out, Abby didn’t grow as in previous books. This is still a good wrap on the series as the action and emotions ran at a fever pitch! Fantasy reverse harems are currently the rage and Ms. Gellar has one of the best series out there that balances the physical and emotional among the characters!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from Kate Gellar! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Can Abby and her guardians become a cohesive unit? They are fighting for their lives in this spine tingling fast moving action packed story. Abby has slowly evolved and grown through this series. This story grabs a hold of you and refuses to let you go until you have read every word. Read the series and you will be impressed. Received ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
I've read all the books in one weekend, I was really holding onto hope that I would be rewarded at the end. However, the series pulled punches and wildly under delivered. The premise was really really interesting, I just wish the writing lived up to that. I felt as though I rolled my eyes one two many times but I must admit I wanted to know what was next.
Took me longer to read than the others, Didn't get me as hyped up and excited either. It was still a good book, though, and wrapped up the series well. I wish there was more to read, to be honest. I want to read about Abby as Supreme Leader and hear more about how she is keeping balance between light and dark.

I still don't. I must admit I read the last page first because I don't think I could have finished it if anything had happened to Abby or her guardians. I'm glad everyone got their happily ever after.
Loved all 5 books. Couldn't put then down. Loved that you wrote such a great ending. I hate it when it just ends without letting you know what happens after the big show down.
