When Samantha Moon is hired on by a film crew to help hunt for the most elusive creature of them all, she’s pretty sure they have the wrong person.
Turns out this is a super well-funded expedition, and the eccentric backer is sparing no expense, including hiring, among dozens of other specialists, a private investigator—someone trained to find the missing.
And there is nothing more missing than Bigfoot.
The logic almost makes sense to Sam. But the money is right and the vampire private eye finds herself intrigued. After all, even among her fellow supernaturals, the creature known as Sasquatch is thought to be myth only.
When the team arrives at the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, Sam is drawn to the bear guard, a tough as nails man named Wally Seymour hired to keep the expedition safe; after all, Wally seems particularly adept in the forest...
But it’s when Sam heads out into the woods on her own reconnaissance mission that things get interesting. Turns out, the vampire detective is particularly adept at finding elusive creatures who don’t want to be found.
And when Samantha sees a disturbing image in the team leader’s mind—an image of death and mayhem—she understands there’s more at play here than a simple expedition to find the world’s most popular cryptid.
J.R. Rain is the author of 110 novels and counting. He lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest, where he's hard at work on his next novel... and fighting off sparkly vampires.
Although this was a quick read I still enjoyed it. It was very interesting. I absolutely love Samantha Moons adventures. I was very enthusiastic about the team meeting big foot. Imagine.. Big foot.... I'm floored.
Well, I had planned to go to bed at a decent hour, but that wasn’t to be. I got sucked into the story and couldn’t put the book down. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if JR Rain was on track with the real reason we can’t find Sasquatch. I obviously enjoyed the story and I do recommend it to og Samantha Moon fans. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
I’m not sure what one of my favorite authors is doing with here, but Brother Rain seems to have forgotten who Sam Moon is. In this book she sounds like a guy with a girl’s name. If Sam had sounded like this in Book 1, I would never had read Book 2. I didn’t like the out downs of her friend Allison, and all of a sudden she and her daughter have their mind abilities back. And Devil Killer, which she traded in for Excalibur in the last book. Get it together, Hoss.
Samantha Moon 🌙 is asked to join a group searching for Sasquatch in Washington state. It turns into quite an adventure with Kingsley, Tammy, and Allison joining in the adventure. It all ends will with Samantha telling Anthony the tale. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of paranormal fantasy adventure mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading. 2023 👒😤😇🏡
I read this in one sitting, since it was too cold out, and I could watch football at the same time. Total win! These books are extremely entertaining. They are well written with interesting characters. Next time I'm hiking at our home in Humboldt county I won't worry about Bigfoot so much.
I loved the pace of this book. What a great story with a couple surprises thrown in, that could make Sam's future very interesting indeed! I really enjoyed this level of Sam's powers as she still has the Devil killer and telepathy. I love where J.R has taken Sam's stories!
