I LOVED this story. It has all kinds of feels even making me teary-eyed! It was short but entertaining and so enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. There was so much sweetness and connection that I've decided it is my new favorite love story. Stephen and Danielle had an instant connection when they met. They were both attracted to each other immediately. They only had five minutes to talk but Stephen made sure that he let Danielle know that he wanted to see her again. I want to say more but I don't want to spoil it! I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book. Like really, you NEED to read this book!

Such a Sweet Surprise! I’ve read a few of the titles in the multiauthor Matchmakers, Inc. series of instalove shorts, and I love the way each author puts their own unique spin on the speed-dating theme. Tarin Lex’s “Dating the Billionaire” is such a sweet surprise. Stephen is a super-sexy billionaire, a sweet-as-can-be widower, and a devoted single dad. He has an instantaneous connection with the beautiful and completely selfless Danielle when he sees her across the room from him at the Valentine’s Day event, and that chemistry only heats up as he gets to know her better. There’s a really sweet surprise in this story that I thought was absolutely adorable! Another amazing tale from Tarin Lex.
This is the perfect quick read on a break or waiting for someone. It is a cute story that you can easily fit into one sitting. Interesting plot about the father of a boy meeting the egg donor to said boy on a speed dating event. There is a reason he is drawn to her. This is a quick story with great characters and an interesting take on the situation.

It's a heartwarming story! Stephen lost his wife and raised his son alone. On speed dating, he meets Danielle, and her eyes look like his son. Love this story!
Dating the Billionaire by Tarin Lex is part of the multi-author MatchMakers Inc series. This story is sweet, heartwarming and quick short story about Stephen and Danielle who meet at a Matchmakers Inc. speed dating event. Stephen is a single dad to five year old Bode. His wife died in an accident three years ago and since then he has tried to date but has not found the right person. But with Bode asking sometimes about family he decides to sign up, after all it is a few hours one night. When Stephen first sees Danielle he immediately knows he has to ask her one question, and it is not any of the questions on the handout that they were all given. As it turns out Stephen and his wife could not get pregnant so they turned to to an egg-donor. Stephen has always been grateful but never knew the person. So when he sees that Danielle has the same eye color, same facial features and more he has to know. Danielle is a quiet and shy young woman who has ended up at the speed dating event because of her father, and he is even there participating and enjoying himself. When the handsome man sits across from her and then asks her that question she is taken aback but they still end up matching with each other. With a high flying date and sharing some photos more is discovered and something starts between Stephen and Danielle.
Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this book!

Danielle has done everything that she could to support her father through his cancer treatment including selling her eggs to pay for experimental treatment, but now that he is in remission, he wants his daughter to find love and be happy. That is how she finds herself at the Matchmakers INC speed dating event, when she catches sight of Stephen there is something special that passes between them, and their connection is made. Could she really have found love at a speed dating event or is this fate?
Stephen and his late wife were unable to conceive naturally and were successful using an egg donor. Bur for the past three years has raised his son Bode alone, now he is five he feels ready to start dating again and where better than to try but a speed dating event. When he spots Danielle and their eyes catch something unexplainable passes between them and when he gets his five minutes with her, it soon becomes clear that they share something more than attraction. Is this kismet and is it possible to find true love more than once?
This was a short emotional read that as beautifully written, honestly, I finished this story with a smile, could not fault anything. Highly recommended 4.5* read.
A very quick read that packs all the feels you might find in a longer book. Danielle and Stephen meet at a matchmaker Inc gathering. Stephen is a widow who is raising his 5 year old son after his wife died three years ago. He is ready to start dating again. Danielle is at the speed dating event because her father encouraged her to go. She has been supporting her father through his cancer any way she can and felt she owed it to him to go since he felt she needed to go and meet someone. Turns out Dani is the biological mother of Bode, Stephen's son. Stephen and his wife used a donated egg from Dani and when Stephen sees her at the speed dating event he just knows she is Bode's biological mother. He feels it is meant to be that the three of them form a family. This was a wonderful read with a great HEA.
This book is part of the multi-author Matchmakers Inc series featuring Stephen and Danielle's heartwarming insta-love story. Stephen is raising his 5yr old son Bode alone after losing his wife 3yrs ago. He feels like he's ready to begin dating again so he attends a speed dating event where he meets Danielle who only came to the event after her father talked her into going. They both feel a connection and they're both instantly attracted to each other but they only get 5 minutes to talk to each other. Stephen makes every one of those minutes count and he tells Danielle that he is interested in seeing her again. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this heartwarming insta-love story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

3.5 stars I was surprised that this book really took less than 30 minutes to read - but it makes it perfect for those quick breaks when you just want to read something that takes you to another place.
This book starts out with a single dad reading to his 5 year old boy at night. From this conversation, we deduce that the mother died a few years ago and the son is asking why he can't have a new mom.
Well, throw in the fact that this boy was created from donated eggs AND the dad miraculously happens to meet the egg donor at a speed dating event (which he instantly felt the connection) and a new family is created.
Yes, it was a quick insta love story, but it was cute.

3.5 stars First things first; I like the cover of this book! Dating the billionaire is a novella in the ‘’matchmaker inc’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Danielle and Stephan meet at a speed-dating event, will love blossom between them? The chemistry between Danielle and Stephan is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked the surprise link/connection between them. I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
This book is a part of the MatchMakers Inc series and focuses on Stephen and Danielle. Stephen's wife had died three years prior and that left him as a single dad when he decided to take part in the speed dating event. In the middle of the event, he ends up at Danielle's table and immediately feels a unique connection to her (you'll have to read the story to find out what the connection is). They share a very special bond and make a great life together. This was a great addition to the series.

I think this is one of the shortest books that I’ve read from this author. I’ve read plenty of her stories. It was a great storyline but it was really really short. It was almost as if I hit the fast forward button once they met. They didn’t even describe how his son reacted to this woman and how significant she was to his existence. I was actually excited to see that part I read that part. I didn’t happen. It fell flat. No cliff.

Dating the Billionaire is unique story that has twist that will grab at your heart. Stephen is a single dad, who decided to attend the Valentines speed dating event, the one woman who caught his eye was the one he always thought he would meet. Danielle was attending the speed dating event to make her dad happy. She did everything she could when he was sick, the last things she expected was it to come back to her.
This is a moving story that is overflowing with love.

Wow I loved this story. I loved the plot, the characters and how easy it was to read. It’s the story of a widower who is re-entering the dating world, by attending to a speed dating event on Valentine’s Day. Walking into the event, his eyes find a face that is identical to the one he just tucked into bed. Stephen and his wife used a donor eye to conceive the son, and then Meredith lost her battle with cancer. But the face of this stranger is identical to his son’s, and he needs to know if she’s the wonderful woman who made Bode a possibility.
Tarin Lex's contribution to the wonderful multi-author MatchMakers Inc. series is the exceptional Dating the Billionaire. Stephen and Danielle are bonded in a way neither could anticipate even before the widowed billionaire and the young beauty end up at the same speed dating event. This romance is well-written, emotional and beautiful while also super sweet and steamy, packing quite a bit into a short package. Stephen and Danielle's love story is a definite must-read in this awesome series.

When Stephen saw her there he felt the connection she had with him! Very emotional story of love, loss and enjoying the moment. Their unexpected connection was magical. The HEA truly beautiful

Ever want a story to read you could finish during a one hour break? This is a great love story that will transport you Matchmakers Inc. Stephen and Dani are both strong characters and that made for a well balanced couple. The attraction between the couple simmered along nicely as they engaged in a chemistry that was steamy and hot!

They share a deep connection already before they even meet and spending time together only deepens it to love. I sincerely enjoyed this unique story.
Very short romance 2.5 In general, I like this author, but here, the story is cute, simple, without being exciting. Perhaps it's because the story is very short, leaving little time for the character of Stephen, a widower and single father, to describe what he wants but also to explain what he discovers when he meets Danielle. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Stephen has been taking care of his son since he lost his wife. He wants to find his son biological mom. He goes to a speed dating event. He sees Danielle. They get to know each other. This is a cute story.

This story has an interesting turn of events from how Stephen and Danielle meet to how they know each other. Contrast to other books by Lex, this story talks about the past and losing a loved one. Once the story line is set, the book takes off with a steamy scene and a great ending. The epilogue is great and ties everything together.
For me this fell short of Tarin Lex' usual standard. I really liked the plot but felt it deserved much more than 4 chapters. It was too fast and was missing so much. I don't want to give away the plot so it us gard to say more.

Small world when it comes to finding an unexpected gift at a speed dating event. Absolutely loved the characters and the wonderful storyline of being caring, generous and selfless in helping families bring forth new life. Great ending of finding the perfect family.
