Vampires have waited long in the shadows. Waiting for their time to take over, and their wait is finally over. Humans have lost that battle and now answer to them.
Olivia is a nineteen-year-old girl who has spent her entire life in a cage. She’s unique, pale skin with white hair and grey eyes. She accepts that she’ll probably die at the hands of the vampires.
Her world is flipped upside down when one of the most powerful and oldest vampires comes for her. Cole Vallen.
Cole is cold and feared by everyone, including the other vampires. He has waited hundreds of years for Olivia, and he isn’t about to let her slip from his fingers now. Secret after secret will be revealed as they journey together to change the world.

Overall was good, but editing would be nice, and pick a pace- sometimes sooooo slow, then poof it’s like fast forward 5 pages into half a page 😵💫🫤😮💨 🖤 How I Love “An Eye For An Eye” Revenge 🩸🩸🩸Now That’s A TrueLove Mate!!!💋
Why does the natural beautiful Fae have on soooo much caked-on clown makeup on the cover????!!!!
I think I’d like this better if I could read the whole book(s) properly and perhaps before it was sold to Galatea, they always seem so much better from/by the legit Author❣️
My Grumbles: Plus doesn’t help to lose the vibe of reading/what’s going on when Galatea shrinks the length of the chapters and then have to pay or wait 6hours for next small “chapter” hence why almost 3months to read… makes me less interested in next book, lose the flow of the story!!! AND was that the real cliffhanger? Or did Galatea just split a whole book into parts again?? 🙄 So in real world 2 books, on Galatea is “4 books”?
Okay, so I actually think this book had potential to he really good. But this genuinely feels like a first draft. It's riddled with typos and incorrect grammer. The characters had intrigue to them, especially Cole. But he kept making the stupidest decisions, and he literally could not keep her safe. Beyond that, the story was very underdeveloped. It had a lot of interesting parts, but the story just bounced around a lot, and I feel like there were several very unnecessary plot points. The worst offense of all was her overuse and misplacement of worse. "Cue" for example... she used it sooo many times, and almost always it was the hulking, alpha male that was supposedly "cueing" no. Please

My Thoughts: I read this book on Galatea. It needs a lot of work but it has a lot of potential. I read the book straight through from beginning to end in one sitting. I wish the twist hadn't been revealed the way it was since it felt a little anti climatic but the world building was decent with lots of potential and the characters have a lot of potential for further development. I have a feeling the second part will reveal more and give us more development. I look forward to more.
