“Bad girls don’t get what they want, little one. You’re at my mercy now and you’re going to learn what happens when you defy me”

WOW what a journey .

This story was filled with ups and downs .

It was like all the other books in the series really good.

A real page-turner. I think I finished it in less then 4 hours .

It was easy to read but full of feelings and emotions of any kind.

You could feel the pain , the lost , the angst but also the love coming out .

It was a real rollercoaster of emotions or better Ashton was the definition of rollercoaster .

“That’s all we’re capable of, haven’t you realized? We’re toxic, Ash. A disaster waiting to happen”

He was so confusing , there was a constant conflict between his heart and his head . Seeing that kind of struggle kept me reading non-stop trying to figured out what he would do next .

And Ruby was really a strong , caring and determinate woman . she understood the situation like no one else . She was everything he didn’t wanted but also everything he really needed .

It wasn’t easy , there were some pretty tense moments but also others really hot and mind-blowing .

“It’s okay little one. I promise to make it up to you.I promise to always make it up to you”

It was so enjoyable . I can’t wait for the final book of the series.

I gave it 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hope you’ll enjoy it like I did.

ENJOY.

"Fury" is the sixth Standalone of the "Rosewood High" series by the best-selling author Tracy Lorraine! Told in dual perspectives , get ready to meet Ruby and Ashton!

I am pretty sure the whole world knows how crazy I was about this book!! I bugged the author so much 🤣. Ever since I read the ending of Hunter , I just knew that this book was going to be my undoing and there was no way I was missing it!

Ruby is a high school cheerleader and has high ambitions. Her life was going perfect until she heard the news that a ghost from her past was coming back! Ashton was the one thing who almost destroyed her. Her stepbrother is the devil incarnated and he takes joy in hurting her. The last time he visited her , even though it was only for a few days , he managed to unravel her in a way that no one ever has been capable of doing before!! And then he just left. But this time he was back for good. This time she couldn't run away from him until he was done with her.

After losing his mother , there is nothing good in Ashton's life anymore. That is until he is forced to move in with his father. That is not the problem , the problem is the girl who is waiting for him there . The one who managed to unravel him last time and nearly succeeded. But this time he was back for good. This time he was not leaving. She was finally going to pay for everything she has stolen from him and he won't stop taking from her until he was done with her. Breaking his stepsister shouldn't feel this good.

This book was everything I had been expecting and so much more. Tracy Lorraine always gives the best buy Romance and I am glad that I got to read this one too! There was just one thing that irritated me to no end. I really wanted more groveling. Ruby deserved so much better and I hoped that she would hold out a little longer and not give in that easily but she did and that was one thing I didn't like. Apart from that this book was perfect and is a definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there!

4.5 stars!

I am going to be so sad to see the Rosewood High series go, with Fury being the penultimate book, but in no way is the series dwindling, if anything, it’s getting hotter and way more intense. Fury is the sixth book in the series and is a stepbrother forbidden romance between Ruby and Ashton. Although it’s not necessary, it is highly recommended that you read the prequel Faze before reading Fury, as it gives a background to what happened with Ashton and Ruby months before the events of Fury.

Ashton Fury’s world is crumbling around him. After the sudden loss of his mother, he is forced to move from Seattle and in with his estranged father and his new wife, who has a daughter, Ruby, who he has only met once before, when the hatred and sparks flew, but he was determined to destroy her perfect world. After leaving a wrecked Ruby behind and sure he’ll never return, three months later, he is suddenly back, and for good. He is full of regret and resentment, mainly aimed at himself and his father, but Ruby bares the brunt of it, as he decides he needs to up his plan. But what he doesn’t account for is how Ruby will fight back. She infiltrates his mask and becomes important to him as he processes his mother’s death, no matter how hard he pushes her away, she is there, and giving it right back. Will they admit their hatred has turned into real feelings, or are they destined to be enemies forever?

Now the thing about stepbrother romances is I really like them, but only if they literally have never met each other until the start of the story. If they have grown up together, or in any part of their childhood/life been treated like real siblings, then it makes me feel a bit icky, but Ruby and Ashton had never met until they were 17 and the attraction between them was instant. They were strangers who had a spark, even if initially the spark was drawn from a mutual hatred of each other.

Ruby had the perfect life, she was popular, gorgeous, had great friends and was the school cheerleader. She was the all-American girl, which is why she drew so much hate from Ashton because she represented everything he didn’t have, and he blamed her for that. His mission was clear from the start, to destroy her, but I loved how she stood up to him and didn’t go down without a fight. Yes, there were times when I wish she’d been a bit stronger, but their chemistry was undeniable, and Ashton knew exactly how to push her buttons. But her empathy for him, even after all he put her through was what showed me what a great girl she was. She was his rock during such a difficult period of time, and she helped save him from a self-destructive path. I liked how she knew how lucky she was to have it all, which didn’t make her seem stuck up or annoying, just grateful.

Ashton had his moments when I genuinely disliked him, because how could he blame Ruby for anything gone wrong in his life. But because she was the easy target, he focussed all his feelings on to her, and used the hatred to mask his real feelings, love. The more we learnt about his past and also his close relationship with his mother, the more I felt for him and understood. It was emotional seeing him grieve and come to terms with his loss, but he did it in his own way and own time, which is completely normal, even if he did lash out unnecessarily. He was a broken boy, who was effectively left alone in the world, without a real relationship with his father, but with the help of Ruby turned into a man who knew this was his second chance at a future. The chip on his shoulder was large, but she helped him heal. I really liked how she made him work for it in the end though, and in turn that made him realise that his feelings were something way more than lust.

As a couple they were so explosive, and I liked how some of the plot took place outside of Rosewood and we got to see more of where Ash grew up in Seattle. The introduction of the Kingston boys was so well woven into the plot, and I really hope that will be a new series from Tracy this year, they seem like such a dark and twisted group. But of course, we see our favourites from previous books, especially Chelsea who is one of my faves, I love how had Ruby’s back throughout, such a protective momma bear!

The Rosewood High series keeps getting better and better, I can’t wait to see what direction Tracy takes us in for the final book, Harley’s, which was hinted at slightly towards the end of Fury. Ashton and Ruby’s book is an emotional story, about loss and learning to accept that your side of the story may have holes, full of heart-breaking moments and so much steam, it’s a must read!!

Ughh definitely the worst book in the series. The relationship happens over the course of 1 week and the main guy treats the girl so rudely/like trash but she still falls for him 🤢

O.M.G….Fury is seriously hot. Have a fan ready! The heat and chemistry between Ruby and Ashton is extremely 🔥💥. Fury is the 6th book in the Rosewood High Series and it is just as good as the first or maybe a little bit better. I have enjoyed all the books from Rosewood High and look forward to what comes next. Fury is all about Ashton and Ruby. We get to know a little bit more about Ashton as he is only just starting Rosewood High after the death of his mother. Ashton is feeling angry, resentful, jealous, and lashed out at Ruby job the beginning (before his Mom dies). Ruby is the easy target as she seemed to have the life he felt should have been his. When his parents divorced and Ashton’s Dad married Ruby’s Mom, Ashton hated Ruby before they ever met. Ashton soon realizes after arriving that he was attracted to her and he got a little bit more hateful to her. After an event happened during Halloween Ashton goes back to his Mom and Ruby starts acting out and rebelling. After Ashton’s Mom dies Ashton has to move back in with his Dad and started out by being as hateful to Ruby as possible. That all changed slowly and there was sooo much grieving and dealing with his feelings about his Mom’s death. He blamed himself. He slowly starts to heal and realize he has deeper feelings for Ruby. I won’t say anyway more as I am dangerously close to spoiling fury for future readers. Just let me say that there is so much twists, turns, things going sideways, and emotions as Ashton heals. I loved Fury as Ashton was so easy to empathize with and he generated so many different emotions as he went through the stages of grief and guilt regarding his Mom’s death and accident. Ruby can only take so much before she has to put herself first. Tracy Lorraine, author, did an outstanding job creating characters that you as a reader can love, empathize with, and relate to. I highly recommend Fury to anyone who loves a fantastic bully and forbidden combo romance. Just a heads up, you are not going to want to be interrupted or to put the book 📖/iPad 📱 down so give yourself plenty of time to finish reading it in one sitting. I absolutely recommend that you read the whole series to get the best enjoyment out of Tracy’s Rosewood High world. Happy reading!!

This is the 6th book in the Rosewoodhigh Series and this series is absolutely fantastic and the world that this author has created totally rocks This is Ashton Fury and Ruby and the journey that they both travel is a tough one. This bully romance is a real page turner like all the series and I highly recommend that everyone read them all from the first.

Ashton is having and extremely tough time at the minute and hates himself and everyone around him. After losing his mother things just seem to be going worse and the only person he can truly lean one is the one person that he despises Ruby. Ruby hates Ash and after he inserts himself into her life at every corner she mad but also the feelings she has inside of her are confusing her. One minute she's wanting him and the next they are hurting each other. They have an insane amount of chemistry and they have some dark times ahead.

The story that this author has written will rip your heart out and one minute you will want to love these two and then Ash will make you, the reader mad at him lol. The characters and the story flow thought out and once I started reading I and was thrown right back into this world at Rosewood High and didn't want to leave. The book had my emotions all over the place and I really felt for him and all that he was going through and he needed help but didn't want to ask for it. This story has a lot going on the dark bully romance is intense and will keep the reader completely invested all the way through. I've loved reading these books in this series and although its not necessary I would defiantly read them all from the beginning because this series this author has created is fantastic.

...and I'm a goner...

Fury has just become my favourite book by this author. Angsty, sexy, intense and emotional, I could not put it down.
I went in blindly, I always do with Tracys books. And I sure wasn't ready for this kind of story. I expected one delicious and gripping bully story.

I was wrong.

I got so much more.

Ashton lives with his mother, and he resents his father for walking out on them and finding himself a new family. He is a bit of a devil, bad boy incarnated.
Ruby is a high school cheerleader, she's sweet and easy going. She lives with her mom and her stepdad, who happens to be none other than Ashtons father.

When tragic strikes Ashton's completely and utterly lost. He's hurting and he's being destructive. He is taking it all out on Ruby.
But she's a perfect match to the devil, in the end she gives as good as she gets.

Their story was unforgettable! The pacing was perfect. I was never bored while reading this book at any point. I was so immersed by this angst filled beauty filled with sexual tension and heart shattering moments, letting them go after finishing their story was a struggle.

The ending left me dying for the next book! Because - addicted!

Audiobook

There’s a short story, Faze to read before this that I’d highly recommend.

This is Ruby and Ash’s story.
💕 Wrong side of the tracks
💕 Heartbreaking past
💕New beginnings
💕 Step-brother romance

Fury is so much more than the list above, I absolutely loved this book. Ash is angry at the world but he has good reason. He was dealt a rubbish deal in life. When his mum passed away he has no choice but to lean on the man that abandoned him. He’s moving to Rosewood but the past is hard to let go. This book is set within the transition.

Ruby is Ash’s dad’s stepdaughter. She lives in a nice, loving family- everything Ash struggled with. Ruby is the source of his hate and the only one that can save him. Hold on it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Fury by Tracy Lorraine was... Man, where do I even start? The Rosewood High series went from angsty, bullyish romances to straight dark, heartwrenching romances. Faze, Ashton and Ruby's novella drew me in. The ending of Hunter had me desperate for this story. Y'all, I wasn't prepared.

Ashton killed me. KILLED. ME. That boy was full of pent up anger, confusion, hurt, betrayal and the only person that could make him feel anything else was Ruby...so naturally he fought his feelings for her tooth and nail. Their push/pull was crazy intense. It's one of my favorite aspects of Tracy's writing but honestly, I needed more happy times between this couple to balance out the angst.

Ruby...I adored her. Ashton's darkness and pain lured her in like a siren's call. She knew nothing good would come from Ashton, but she still fought to help him through his pain. She sacrificed so much, showed so much maturity, and her inner strength was commendable. I felt for her because of how he treated her. But she saw something in him that we saw during his POVs and I was so happy she took a chance. Ashton needed it, Ruby was made for it, and while their love seemed toxic and volatile, I feel like the probably came out one of the strongest couples.

I believe we have one more book in this amazing series coming up! I can't wait!!

So I've decided a few things. I no longer like the enemies to lovers trope because at least in this series I'm finding that the enemy isn't really redeemable. And then they get together and I'm like literally why he was awful to you. I don't understand how you can forgive him or how you can go from hating him to loving him.
Secondly, stepsibling romance... not my thing. I only got through this one because I'm too far into the series to stop. But I hate it, it just feels so wrong to read.
Also Ash is an asshole I hate him and Ruby is kind of a pushover. I really thought we were going to see deeper into her character and experience why her trauma was so bad and why she was acting the way she was in previous books. But she felt 2 dimensional and shallow. I'm kind of disappointed. This series is definitely going downhill. They've finished the books for the original characters and now she's just dragging it out and keeps adding new people. At this point I'm not even seeing the original characters that made me love this series.
I also read this entire book in like three hours instead of homework so at least it was captivating???

What an emotional ride! Ashton is going to roll into your heart and leave it a bloody, aching mess and blow away all your expectations.

After reading Faze, I was desperately aching for more of Ashton. I love a good bad boy and Ashton came riding into Rosewood darker than dark. He was hellbent to destroy Ruby and the small taste Tracy gave us left me salivating for how this bad boy was going to fall.

When Ashton is sent to live with his estranged father the first time he goes out of his way to make Ruby's life a living nightmare, but when his feelings change for her and become too much he leaves and moves back to Seattle to live with his mother. This is where we pick up the story in Fury months later after Ashton has left.

Ashton has fallen back into old habits while back home in Seattle, which was the main reason his mother wanted him to live with his father. His old habits had him circling the drain of gang activity and those habits unfortunately lead to tragedy that change the course of Ashton's life forever.

Ashton was angry and dark in Faze, but this time he spirals into a darker grief spiral that will really break your heart. His pain is deep and toxic, but at the same time so relatable you understand why Ruby is drawn to him and wants to ease his suffering. This doesn't stop him from using her to make her feel like he does. He's toxic, he knows it, and he wants to ruin her life the same way his has been ruined.

Ruby's life circles around cheer and hopefully getting the national title this year. She doesn't need an angry stepbrother stepping into her life messing with her head or her life when she's so close to achieving her goal. However, whenever Ashton is near she can't seem to stay away and whenever he seems to be sinking she can't seem to help, even if it might hurt her in the long run.

The push and pull of these two is unlike any of other of Tracy's characters. I felt Ashton's pain so deeply, while at the same time I emphasized with Ruby's need to immerse herself in his pain to help him through it. What could have seemed like reprehensible behaviour instead came across as relatable and both Ashton and Ruby gave us that sympathy through deeper emotions. These are truly two of Tracy's best written characters.

I'm also very excited with a few directions that could come out of secondary characters for future stories.

Step back into Rosewood and buckle up for an emotional ride.

Ashton Fury’s life turned upside down the moment he was in a car accident with his mom and he lost the most important person in his life. Now he is being forced to move in with his dad and the step-sister he wants nothing to do with.
Ruby is a cheerleader who’s life has taken a turn for the worse when she realizes that Ashton is coming back into town after the way they left things at Halloween. She knows that she needs to stay away from him as he is bad news but she can’t help but feel bad with the death of his mom.
Will Ashton’s anger be taken out on Ruby and will she take it? When Ruby realizes how much pain Ashton is in, will she allow him to use her and will she be able to find the strength to put herself first when she needs to?
This is such a great series and one I am truly loving.
Ashton was such a troubled kid and had so much anger around him due to the death of his mom and feeling like he had been forgotten about by his dad when he left town and got remarried. This was apparent by how he and his mom lived and I really could understand why he was so mad. He went to a rough school and hung around with people that were involved with crime. He had so much resentment towards Ruby and I kind of understood but at the same time she wasn’t to blame for anything that had happened to him.
I thought Ruby was a great character who had something happen with Ashton in the past but unfortunately couldn’t remember what had happened and therefore lived in fear for what happened. She then began to do things out of character as a way of coping but that seemed to stop when Ashton returned although then she began to worry about other things.
There was so much initial hatred between Ruby and Ashton but it was because of everything that Ashton had been through and how he felt that Ruby and her mom had stolen his dad away from him. Yet things slowly began to change when everyone headed back to Seattle for Ashton’s mom’s funeral and Ruby truly realized how bad things had been for Ashton and how much he was hurting.
Ashton really struggled with his grief and continually pushed Ruby away but it wasn’t until Ashton and Willow found some of his mom’s journals that he began to see things differently.
I was happy when Ruby began to focus on cheer again but I hated how she blamed herself when things went wrong. I liked that Chelsea wanted Ruby to hear Ashton out about everything and it was funny how Ruby’s mom voiced her opinion as I didn’t see that one coming.
The end made me so happy and I can’t wait read Harley’s story!!

"Her kiss is so gentle, so passionate that it brings tears back to my eyes. But this time, with her here, with her wrapped around me, I don't sink. She keeps me above water, just like I knew she would, just like I know she shouldn't be."

Fury is the sixth installment in the Rosewood High series. This book can be read as a standalone and told from dual perspectives.

Fury follows the story of Ruby and Ashton, who step-siblings (a delicious trope)! Ruby is a junior who has high ambitions of being the team caption her senior year. Since her last meeting with Ashton on Halloween, she's succumbed to partying and flirting with boys to get over him. On the other hand, Ashton must come back to Rosewood after the death of his mother, and with that comes the emotional baggage of his dark life, blaming himself for his mother's death and being fueled with anger for his father leaving him behind. When these two meet again, it's going to be a toxic disaster but the chemistry is still there...

I was swooning for Ashton. This boy has so much pent up anger and hurt. He is the definition of a brooding bad boy that you want to fix. I wanted to take away all his hurts. In this story, he had to overcome so much and he did with the help of Ruby. There were so many moments when Ashton's darkness came out, when he acted harshly, and those lashes deeply hurt Ruby but she still stuck through. Ruby's big heart and loyalty are qualities of hers that I really admired. She was always the bigger person. She stuck by his side and she was always so patient and willing to help him even though he hurt her deeply. I personally wished that she would have held out on him a little longer, made him grovel for it a little bit more because she deserved to be pampered after all the cold-shoulders.

Nonetheless, I still loved their story so much! This book has been highly highly highly highly highly anticipated by me since I read the prequel, Faze in the Love at First Fright anthology back in October. This sexual chemistry between Ruby and Ashton is out of this world... I cannot put into words how addicting they were from the moment I met them. These two are easily my absolute favorite couple in the entire series. I think the next book has a high potential of getting up there as well so I can't wait to read that ahhhhh.

Well, this one certainly starts off with a bang and doesn’t hold back. You are instantly hooked from that first chapter.
You really need to have read the Halloween prequel to enjoy this book as it introduces the two main characters, Ruby and Ashton. ‘Faze’ is where their story starts, and we continue not long after here in ‘Fury’ with their full story.
I think having the prequel really helped you feel like you already knew the characters, it meant we could get straight down into the story proper, and Tracy Lorraine doesn’t hold back.
I really wanted to hate Ashton but I just couldn’t. I flip-flopped between wanting to smack him around the head and giving him a big hug. He has gone through so much, and he’s hurting but this, in turn, means he’s prepared to lash out at everyone including those that are the closest - Ruby!
Ruby starts off being relatively weak-willed but really comes into her own as the story unfolds. I love her sassiness towards the end, and I’m glad she holds out and doesn’t give into Ashton too quickly after he’s hurt her.
Ruby and Ashton aren’t my favourite Rosewood couple, and I do wonder how there can be so many happy ever afters for seventeen/eighteen-year-olds. Will they all have found their ‘one’ in high school? If I had to bet on any of them not ending up together, it would be Ruby and Ashton. I think the heat is there in their teenage minds, but I’m not sure it can go the distance. Jake and Amelie, on the other hand, had better not break up! I hope that in Tracy Lorraine’s next series based at a university, we get to see some of the Rosewood characters may have moved on and found more grown-up love. I guess I will have to wait and see!

I am so glad that I started 2021 by reading Fury and I feel speechless after I finish reading it. Ashton is so broken and while he wants to hurt Ruby, his possessiveness of her is so hot. I have to confess that I wasn't impressed by Ruby's behavior much in the previous books but I fall in love with her in this book though. She is stronger than I think and I like it. And even if he hurts her, she still cares and helps him get through to the bad time. Their chemistry is so off the charts and I wonder why their parents didn't catch it sooner. The story is so angst and dark from the beginning but it turns into something sweet when Ash tries to win Ruby back and even if I just finish reading it, I want to re-read those scenes already. I really love and enjoy it so much.... actually I am not disappointed by this series so far and I can't wait for Harley's story!

Ashton and Ruby have an explosive relationship in this love story. This book starts off with a devastating loss and a world turn upside down.
We go on a journey with Ashton, who has so many reasons for being the bully that he was. We get to see his thought process and feel his pain as he takes things with his step sister Ruby too far at times.
Ruby is strong and determined but she can't help that her stepbrother has become an unhealthy attraction. She won't let him bully her without a fight and she definitely gives as good as she gets.
Ruby holds Ashton's world together when everything is falling apart and he has to work to win her over and make her forgive him.
An emotional story at times that had me needing a tissue or two.
I just love this series and I really can't wait to read the next couple's story.

Wowza! What an amazing read. After getting a tease of Ashon Fury in the prequel Faze I couldn’t wait to read his story, and boy did it not disappoint.

Right from the start we are thrown straight in with the tragic news of his mum and it’s just like a coiled spring after that. Ash’s conflict within himself over his feelings for Ruby were so powerful you simply couldn’t help but feel for him and want to soothe the torment out of him. I loved seeing his world when he had to go back and how Ruby supported him completely unconditionally. He may claim to hate her but he protects her from the worst of the worst in his past, I think he rather likes the idea of hating her as it adds to the drama and the thrill of the chase.

Absolutely fabulous as usual, seeing him fit right in with the dark, twisted and broken souls of Rosewood High.

I think Aston & Ruby is my favourite of the series. Because my heart went to Aston when he lost his mum and we there with him in that moment 😥 Ruby stand his his actions and feelings towards her. Aston is in a constant battle with his head at heart about Ruby but she is the best thing for him.

When these to crash together its hot and when they are together its just beautiful ❤ the rollercoaster ride of feelings and their journeys each made me want to read more

☆MUST READ SERIES☆

Boy Ashton and Ruby's story is probably my second favorite. Ethan and Rae's will always be number one to me. Fury has everything you can hope for . suspense, thrill , crazy hot romance and just as dark as all the rest of rosewood. Good luck being able to put this down. Once you start you will not be able to stop . you will continue to crave more and more from them . Ashton is the epitome of bad boy. He oozes all the good thing we hope a bad boy does.

I loved this book. When I read Faze I HAD to know how it would end between Ashton & Ruby. I think this one is my all time favourite of all Rosewood books. Ashton lives in Seattle with his mom but when they have a car crash, she dies. He hates his dad because he left Ashton & his mom & built a new life with a new wife & kid. Ashton really torments Ruby but she fights back.

Ashton may be furious but I just want to wrap him in a hug! After tragedy strikes Ashton's entire world comes crashing down around him. He takes all of that pain and focuses it on the only thing he can, his stepsister Ruby. Fury takes us on Ashton's subsequent road of recovery and grief. One a less than willing Ruby accompanies him on. I absolutely loved the depth of emotion that this story goes to. I also liked that we first met this couple in Faze, their prequel novella. Reading Faze isn't necessary but it does offer some more insight on an event involving both Ashton & Ruby that occured prior to the events in Fury. This is one of my favorite HS Bully series!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS

Oh my goodness, Tracy delivered an incredible book! Ruby and Ashton's story was intense and all-consuming. Pick up your copy of this book, you will not be disappointed. I could not get enough of the sixth instalment to the Rosewood High series! Fury by Tracy Lorraine is an EPIC read that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Honestly I don’t know how to feel. I felt the chemistry between them but that’s about it. He treated her like shit and yeah he did ‘grovel’ but to me that was not groveling, it was more of ‘I’m horny let’s have sex and it can all be forgotten’. Also let’s not forget about the iconic asshole line:

“it wasn’t her I was hard for. She might have been the body, but in my head it was you. Only you”

Oh and

“I need you out of my head and you… you weren’t here” (after he sent her away)

Just what every woman needs to hear. I mean how can you not swoon right? Anyway this is a 2.5 ⭐️ read for me
