A lot of heat, a lot of sweet...

Alpha Hudson is a prize-winning architect who hasn't dated anyone seriously since his daughter's omega dad passed away three years ago, nor has he felt ready to. But when his sister implores him to attend the Bachelor Candy Auction in support of the children's hospital in Clearvale, he couldn't possibly say no. The omega he meets there triggers his sweet tooth in the most magical way possible, but is he ready to let go of the past and jump into something new, something unknown?

Omega Paul's attempt at running his own restaurant in the big city was an abject failure, much to his disappointment, so he's back in Clearvale after six long years. Meeting a hot alpha seems more elusive than ever, so he throws caution to the wind and enters the Bachelor Candy Auction with a delectable marzipan entry and a tempting date, to boot! He could only hope the match isn't a complete dud; he's had his share of disappointments. When he sees the alpha who's won his date, he knows his marzipan isn't the only thing that's finger-licking good.

Marzipan Magic is a delectable mm non-shifter mpreg romance featuring a hopeful omega restaurateur, a somewhat jaded alpha, a fluffy kitten always into everything, a sassy four year old girl, plenty of knotty heat, and a happily ever after that you won't forget. While each book in the Bake Sale Bachelors series is set in the same world, they can each be read as standalones.

This was book 3 in the "Bake Sale Bachelors Season Three" series. Alpha Hudson hasn't had a lot of time for dating he is a single father his omega died 3 years ago. Omega Paul has come home after being away for 6 years. Paul owned a cafe that went under so he is looking for a job to start over. This was a pretty good read Paul's sister drags him to the auction to be a bachelor and Hudson's brother drags him to the auction which he bids on Paul's candy and wins. These two hit it off and I loved that there date was at a spa where they got hot and heavy. When these two get a little surprise Paul thinks that Hudson will he upset but he's not. I liked this book it was well with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Hudson, Paul, Fiona - Sweet names for a sweet story. I love these little stories because you know you are going to get a HEA and meet some special characters along the way. I loved that Paul was trying to recover from his big city failure but hadn't given up on his dream. Hudson was trying to move on after the death of his omega and take care of his precious daughter Fiona. Don't forget Leo the cat! All the elements you need for a good time.

Not bad

I enjoyed the story, and I generally enjoy thus author's stories, but there was something that felt a little off to me.

Like I said though, I did enjoy the story, so there you are.

Scattered

This book was so scattered. A chapter would end and the next would start and I'd feel totally lost. It might be a day later or a few months later. One chapter they've been together for only a few weeks and then the next starts with them living together. The transitions between the stages of their relationship just weren't there. It felt like moments in their lives instead of a story.

In addition to that, the dialogue felt stilted to me. I kept asking myself if people really talk like that?! And why was all the therapy talk mixed in? Seemed like everyone was getting advice from a therapist. Sheesh. On top of all that, there were mistakes like the wrong words being used.

I barely finished this book and had to skim the last few chapters. There was nothing that stood out to me in this book at all. I felt there was way too much focus on the pregnancy. It really felt like it was a m/f story that was changed slightly to accommodate an omega instead of a female. Disappointing.

Single Alpha Dad Seeks Love❤❤

Another great start to a new Season of Bake Sale Bachelors. While this is the third book I did not feel like I was dropped into the middle of a series. Leyla Hunt combined many of my favorite tropes: single dad (especially great when it's an Alpha), an independent Omega returning home, a great older sister, wonderful best friend, working to make a relationship successful, family drama, a sweet little girl, blending a family, and another successful bachelor's auction!

This was a great Valentine's Day read which I enjoyed!

An Omega and an Alpha walk into a bachelor auction...

Season three is turning out to be fantastic. You have got to read this segment. An omega who makes the best marzipan. An Alpha who wins his date. Both looking for more than just a one night stand. This is a sweet romp with loving family, an electric connection, and sizzling sex. Ooh, and an adorable little girl. HEA is assured. You are gonna love this book! Do yourself a favor and read the rest of the season three books.

If you're looking for a fluffy, sweet, no-angst, insta-love kind of story, this is for you. It's a perfect read for when you want to curl up and give your mind a break. I always love a single dad with a child getting together with someone. A newly made family, I love it. It's one of my favorites. More bonding between the three of them would've been great but I might just be greedy for little kiddo cuteness and new daddy bonding.

Not related but I had no idea marzipan could be made into candies! Decorations on cakes, yes, but candies, no.

So much love!

This book moves fast as shorter stories usually do. But it covers all the gaps that sometimes happen. The trope is a mixture of slight age gap, second chance at love, failed business causing low self worth due to well meaning family and all of it flows beautifully to make a sweet story and HEA. The author makes the story seem as if it happens everyday and that makes it a good read for me.

I love the plot, but the typos and continuity issues (first Hudson is 33, then he's 36...) drive me nuts. I love all the Bake Sale Bachelor series, but their books could all stand a good editor.
