Isabella Davis is twenty-one and thriving as a broker for New York City’s premier investment office, yet her personal life is dismal in comparison. What starts as swiping right on Tinder, launches her head first into the orbit of someone pretending to be a middle-aged daytime television actress named Harper Franklin.
Over the course of weeks and months, Fake Harper somehow worms her way into Isabella’s life. When the cards are down and the truth is out, Isabella must decide if her troubled past and the bruises that have healed, along with those she still carries, are enough to keep her from grabbing love with both hands.
Well from the blurb I had no idea how this short story would go, or what the story actually was but I thoroughly enjoyed where it went. As it was short, there obviously were storylines that could have been expanded but weren't and I would have loved to see them. This could have been longer but I certainly don't feel short changed. A fun read that felt fresh.
