Storyline: How could I fall in love with my rival and enemy?
After her parents' death, Lia versed herself in swordsmanship to protect her family. But as the Empire's only female Commander of a knights' battalion, she can't seem to catch a break because of the meddling Duke Edgar!
But wait... Why does this "enemy" blush whenever he looks her way?!
Well this one just ended up being okay...started out pretty good, but I felt kind of bored and conflicted towards the end about where the story and romance went.
This was a very cute manhwa! It's only 49 chapters, so the plot is tightly woven, with ample amounts of romance, and, mystery, action, and comedy. The characters are all very endearing and have believable motives and actions. Lia and Eddie's relationship develops naturally. I adore both of them - Eddie is super sweet and Lia is very (physically/emotionally) strong and dashing. I really liked that they were both knight commanders and that the story had plenty of action - there's more going on than just the romance, especially with the letters from the parallel world's Lia. Definitely recommended! 4.5 stars, rounded up.
The art is nice. The FL is badass & the ML is hella cute. Although, what made me give this 4 stars is the fan club that their love brought together and the cuteness & fun moments that came out of that. Its got Royal Fam, Duke, Marquise, lovely knights, Wizards & Chimera. Hey, what's not to like?
Just a quick fluffy read I would say. A bit disappointed with the title bc they're not really enemies and some things don't really add up but like I said it's really short and there is little angst and mostly fluff.
Omg I cried multiple times while reading this manwha. Falling for the Enemy is so good, I absolutely adore watching the love interest be a complete simp for the main character! I binged this in like three hours, it was so good!!
I mean I get it… but it wasn’t any of their faults really she believed a man who she knew plotted to kill the king and herself who she knew lived in a plot line that was different from the beginning so?
I hate enemies to lovers. The reason I started reading this is because the synopsis (literally the first chapter, so no spoilers) makes it very clear that it's more of a rivals to lovers situation and that one of them clearly already has feelings for the other.
I liked most of the characters, especially the two leads, the brother and the prince. The only ones that got on my nerves were the batallion members. We could have spent less time with them...
The magic system is pretty loose and not explained very well, but I actually like that because this is a romance first; I don't care about the magic lore.
The ending felt a little rushed (it honestly could have gone on for another 10 or 15 chapters), but overall I really liked it. The art is also gorgeous!
I had previously dropped the WEBTOON for a while since classes started up again. Now that I’ve returned, I saw that it had been completed and raced to finish the last 17 chapters (30-47). It was very very sweet at the start but also managed to get darker/sadder as necessary. The challenges everyone faced helped them grow for the better and it was endearing to see how far they came.
One big thing I must mention is that the different timeline was actually pivotal to the story (similar effect to Orange by Ichigo Takano). It added to the story and pushed it along to show the truths and discrepancies of each timeline. It was not just another gimmick but quite necessary to the story when it came to making the characters uncomfortable as well as making them on guard.
The WEBTOON was refreshing and easy to follow along. I enjoyed it and do recommend picking it up if you want some sweetness in a short story.
It was all going great until I read a spoiler that the reason he stood her up was because apparently his mother suspects that his father was the reason that her parents died, and apparently his solution is not even tell her the truth and start distancing him self from her. Jail

Les 30 premiers chapitres sont super par contre les 18 derniers ne le sont pas du tout, l’histoire se passe trop rapidement et y’a des choses qui n’ont pas de sens.
I thought it was very cute initially, but then the whole enemy thing didn't take very long to become love, and even though I'm grateful the author didn't drag it out, I wasn't satisfied either.
I expected more when I first begun reading this lovely story. I lost my interest somewhere in the middle and it took me some time to go back and actually finish it.
