I had been holding off on letting the kids watch Powerpuff Girls because of the violence, but finally decided to go for it since it was no worse than Lego Star Wars. They both liked the show right away, and I had fun explaining to Natalie the connections to My Little Pony. Soon after, we went to the library and she saw the Powerpuff Girls on the graphic novel sign in the children's room. The boy working the summer reading table hopped up and found her this book! Mike and I took turns reading the comics to her at bedtime. They were okay, but not awesome. I'd much rather spend time reading Babymouse to her if we are going to further explore graphic novels.
