"I understand that you want me you just won't admit it" "No, Mabel, you don't understand anything. I don't want you. I want to f*ck you senseless, there is a large difference. I don't want to see you face, I want your face pressed into the cushions as I f*ck you from behind. I don't want to speak to you, I just want to hear you cry out my name. Don't confuse sexual desire for want. I don't want you, freckles, I just want to f*ck you".
On the brink of the largest Werewolf war in history, Alpha Seth Zev is travelling through the country to gather allies. What he never expected was to find his mate, loud mouth sixteen year old Mabel Thorne. Way too young for him and far too disrespectful to be a Luna. But despite the fact that everyone is against their relationship, Seth can't keep his hands off her and May doesn't want him to keep his hands off her.

Wattpad-y. I think this one started from one of those pay per chapter apps. This was A trainwreck from start to finish but in the beginning half I was enjoy the OTT-ness of it. The story drags though and there is no flow. There are also just so many inconsistencies and plot holes that kept pulling me out of the story, it was difficult to stay focused especially in the end. It needs to be rework with some more editing because the bones of the story are good and I liked the characters chemistry.
I’ve already read this story a few years back, but on Wattpad. I was pleasantly surprised to find it on KU, and thought the author had polished and edited it before having it up. That is unfortunately not the case. The overall plot would have benefited with fine tuning and better pacing. May’s character and portrayal were perfect for her age, but more depth to Seth would have been amazing.
The story line is fine but it jumps around a bit. There’s too many details in some parts that don’t require it and not enough in others. The book is full of typos and while you can figure out what the writer is trying to say, the misspelling is annoying. All in all, enjoyed the book but wouldn’t pay for it.
The age gap was hard to get passed, add the daddy/baby girl role playing and it became a major buzz kill. Story was good though. This needs some heavy editing. It was like reading a high school essay assignment that was turned in at the last moment. Also, the story takes place in the US but European spelling and phrases were used.
I read and loved that book as it was still on Wattpad. I read it at least 5 times. Now I wanted to reread it and found out it’s a real book so I had to buy it and reread it. And I still love it. It’s clinchy and dripping Wattpad era but that is what I love so much about it so it’s always gonna be a 5⭐️read for me.

I enjoyed reading The Young Luna however imo the editing let it down. I don't mind a few mistakes but this book had 3 mistakes in 1 page which distracted me from the story. Otherwise it would have been a 4 stars.
He's 30+ she's 16. When it was mentioned as an age gap my thought was someone of legal age not a child getting manipulated into having sex with a grown man. The relationship is so toxic.
4.6 Stars. it’s a very good book about werewolves if you don’t mind some writing errors or an almost 14 year age gap
I’ve read this book when it was on Wattpad (which yes I digress I’ve alway been a Wattpad girly though I that doesn’t mean I don’t read books that are properly published as well cause I do both and more) it is pretty great book. The only problems I can see people having is the writing errors (which in hindsight should have been fixed before being put on Amazon Kindle but Im used to it but that might be a struggle for others though it doesn’t happen too often) and the age gap of almost 14 years with the male main character having just turned 30 right before the beginning of the story and the female main character (who’s point of view we are reading) is 16 at the beginning and is turning 17 in a few months (that’s all I can tell you without spoilers). But if those things don’t bother you and you like werewolf story’s where the main character is super sassy, fights back in arguments and isn’t completely reliant on her mate then I recommend this book. The second book is also pretty good. Haven’t read the last one though.
