This book is literally about breathing anatomy and it does a great job of that.
I took the title figuratively and figured that it was talking more about what makes up good breathing (though it does do a bit of that).

If you are looking to understand the practice of breathing and gain details about the anatomy than this may be a helpful resource for you. I appreciated the author's dedication to the subject and all the specifics. At the same time I felt it was more than I needed to know for what I was interested in learning. Overall, useful book about the science of breathing and how we can focus on this to enhance our well-being.

This book is worth a read just to learn about what a sigh is bodily. A sigh is essential or you will die. Can you imagine that? Imagine that, it is a fact, an established fact. Look it up. Or just believe it and sigh and save your own life.

Anatomy of Breathing is a great introduction to the technical mechanisms and definitions of breathing. The diagrams and straightforward language make this accessible for any student. I will definitely hang on to this as a reference as a yoga teacher!
