My daughter listened to this book on borrow box from her local library, as she loves listening to growth mindset books. I decided to buy her this book for her Christmas.
A amazing book to help teenagers. I read this book with the mine of using it in the school I teach to help children whom need it. I was not disappointed in this aspect. The book is a good guide in how to become more resilient for anyone of any age but especially for those who are younger. I have read Ants others books, and have found that this has the same message as the others but in a way for the younger view to understand! A truly great book!
This will be a great addition to my Year 6 class library. I find the advice great and it’s the sort of book a lot of children (and their parents) should read. Love the messages regarding failure and not trying to be perfect. Perhaps could have included a little more on social media and peer pressure, but then by not including that much perhaps also illustrates what a small part of our lives social media should be. Great book!
Took a star away only because I didn't really feel like I've learned much today. I listened to this an audio book and it was quite easy to follow but at times it felt a bit boring. I still enjoyed it particularly learning about Ant's journey growing up in France.
He does give a flawless account of being able to build on yourself which I think is motivating and does make me want to do MORE.
Love anything by Ant Middleton. Got this with his previous books in mind. Just a great reminder of not worrying about things outside our control which is something I really try to do
