Fishing for the Truth

Seasiders,

News on the docks is Sutton Bradley may be adding new stock to her little boutique store, Coastal Chic, on the square. Now, I can neither confirm nor deny that it is sexy lingerie, but seeing as Ms. Bradley has been seen on more than one occasion in the company of Brody Wilson, who, let me remind you, was voted as the catch of the season. One can only come to a certain conclusion and that is…

Love is in the air.

I, for one, would love to see Sutton move on from that terrible first marriage of hers, and in my humble opinion, Mr. Brody Wilson would do a fine job of making her forget all about…what’s his name.

Next on my list of to do’s for today…stop by Coastal Chic! Stay tuned for more on Lingerie Gate!

Fair winds and following seas!

"When he reached under the table and took my hand, squeezing it lightly, my chest tightened with a feeling I hadn't had in a very long time. Hope."

What You'll Find:
✔️Smalltown Romance
✔️Friends to Lovers
✔️First Love
✔️Slow Burn With Steam
✔️Dual POV

Part of Me tells the story of Sutton and Brody. These two have always been in each others lives. But when one night together led to heartbreak, it changed their dynamic. Years later Sutton is newly divorced and struggling to keep up with the repairs to her home. All while dealing with her ex, who is back stirring up trouble. Brody quickly swoops in to help her. And in more ways than one...

I thought this was a really sweet and charming read. Light and quick to read. With elements of suspense and steam too. You meet Brody and Sutton in the first book of this series but I enjoyed going back to see where it all began. Brody is MEGA swoon. He's so protective and caring. I wanted a bit more of him, his dangerous job, etc. I felt like this was more Sutton’s book. And Sutton, she's a bit more reserved but just as sweet. These two have chemistry from the start. And I enjoyed watching it slow burn into some delicious steam.

All these characters are woven together so well in each story, you get such great hints at what's to come. And I can't wait for Palmer and Mason's story next! I also have my suspicions on who's writing the gossip columns. We shall see! Another charming addition to The Seaside Chronicles!

*The books in this series should be read in order for best reading experience. I received an ARC via Greys Promo in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are mine and given freely.

What can I say…Kelly Elliott wrote so you should definitely read it!!

This is the second book in her Seaside Chronicles and so far this is my FAVORITE book!! Of this series. I fell for Brody and Sutton after reading the first book in this series. I fell for them even more in this book. Brody is AMAZING!! Where can I find a man like him 😉

This book is solely Brody and Sutton’s story but it’s not truly a standalone. I feel this series is a series that will NEED to be read in order!!

I’ll say it again….DEFINITELY read this book/series!! You won’t be sorry!!!!

I was 100% positive that I will love Sutton and Brody's book. I was cheering for them since book 1 and of course it didn't disappointed me. Even so, that this will be my first whole series that I am reading from Kelly Elliott I am sure it will be my favourite.

The story was beautiful. We get to read what happened between the two of them years ago and how they finally started drifting towards each other after she finally came back to Seaside. The heat was always there, but became even stronger. Yes, they did started as friends and him helping her with stuff around the house. By the time they finally confessed their feelings I already knew that they will be together no matter what.

We also get to meet all the side characters from book 1 and the ones that will be featured in the next books from the series. I loved all interactions between them, Sutton and Brody.

The book was that good that I managed to read it for less than a day.

I do know for a fact that Palmer's book is next and thankfully it will came out in November. Not too long now 😁. And I am definately excited about Harlee and Braxton. This will also be soo soo good.

*** I received an ARC copy of this book and all opinions are my own.***

This is book two in the Seaside Chronicles and it continues with the small town feel. Wonderful characters with great chemistry to draw you in. Brody even has some swoon worthy moments.

Sutton is charging through life trying to be strong and not show her family any weaknesses. She feels defeated after her failed marriage and doesn't want her family to be worrying about her. But at every corner she turns she finds something new that she needs to repair. At every turn Brody is there offering to help her out and she's not sure what to think of that.

Brody has made some choices over the years that he isn't super happy with and breaking Sutton's heart and blocking his own is the biggest one of them all. Back from his time in the service, he is working hard but seems to have plenty of spare time on his hands. The more he steps in to help Sutton pick up the pieces of her life the more he wants to be the one to take care of her.

Will he be able to convince her to let him in? Let him take care of her and be her person? Or will his mistakes of the past be too big to have their chance at happiness?

I am enjoying this series and the small town/ family feel. I can't wait to see what happens next in Seaside.

Oh, boy. The truth of Sutton and Brody is out, folks! Their past. Their present. Maybe even their future? But they have to figure out what the deal is with Sutton’s ex first. Why is he back? What is his game? And will he please give it up and leave this town in peace?

This series has proven to deliver some serious emotions so far. From hidden, possibly unrequited loves to unexpected plans for success and secrets that others appear to be holding close also, I’ve been sucked into this town and can’t wait for more time with them all. But for now, I’ve had the enjoyment of accompanying Sutton and Brody on their journey from friends to some…odd detours…to lovers to honest couple in love and I adored every second. These two eventually learn to communicate, and they don’t shy away from it once the words start flowing. Oh, no. They lay it all out and try to figure out where to go next. And that next step is just perfect for them. It’s everything they deserve and so much more.

But have no fear the gossip is still being shared far and wide, so it’ll be interesting to see how Palmer fares next. And maybe how two others with some serious animosity or chemistry soon after? We can hope.

***ARC Provided by the Author***

I read Kelly Elliott because I know I am going to get a story that I enjoy, that I can lose myself in without it being too angsty. And, sometimes that is a good thing, knowing going into a book that it's going to be about watching 2 people fall in love, and work to stay that way.

This is also a quick read, and I don't mean that it a bad way at all. The words flow and it's easy to lose yourself in the book, and you look up and it's been a couple of hours and the book is finished.

Sutton and Brody are a second chance, sort of. They agreed to go their separate ways years ago, and in some ways I think they waited (without ever making this commitment out loud) for the other to be ready to pick up again where they left off...and they do.

This book is swoony romance. It's romantic and it's about characters who are all in from the beginning because they were never really totally behind the idea of not ending up together.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

4.5 star review of Part of Me (The Seaside Chronicles #2) by Kelly Elliott

Having read the first book in the series I could not wait to dive into Part of Me; it was everything I was expecting and more. There is something about Kelly Elliott’s style of writing that resonates with me. Her characters are engaging, often flawed, human if you will and that makes it easy to both like and relate to them.
This is Sutton Brady and Brody Wilson’s story and it was one that drew me in and quickly had me hooked. I love stories set in small towns and Ms. Elliott is one of my favourite authors in this genre. If only Sutton and Brody would listen to each other and learn to communicate their relationship may not have taken as long to come to develop and that was a little frustrating at times.
Although you could read this as a stand alone, I feel you would enjoy it more if you were to read book one (Returning Home) first, just my opinion.
I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

The first book in the series is Returning Home (The Seaside Chronicles Book 1) and you really need to read it first. It was the beginning of Adelaide and Gannon's story and shows the dynamics of the inter combining of the Bradley and Wilson families in this coastal town. This is Sutton Brady and Cody Wilson's story and it's a wonderful one. The chemistry between them is still popping and it's like it was in high school. They parted ways then but fate brings them back together. What about her Coastal Chic Store adding 'lingerie'? This is a really fun book and a great addition to the series. It's fun to see the interaction between all the members of the Bradley and Wilson clans. I read a free advance copy via the author and Grey's Promotion and I voluntarily chose to review it.

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation

Part of Me is book 2 in the Seaside Chronicles by Kelly Elliott and what a great addition to this series!

Up next is Sutton and Brody, family friends with feelings for each other but at a time when Brody is home on leave from the military and Sutton is graduating high school. Until one night they spend together, Brody makes a mistake that not only ends their friendship but breaks Sutton’s heart. Years later they meet again and Brody know he made the biggest mistake of his life letting her go.

Can he win her back? Only time will tell…read on to see if Brody succeeds…

4.5 stars! One of my most anticipated reads for September, and it definitely delivered! I have wanted to know more about Sutton and Brody since the previous book. I’m a sucker for a fake marriage trope, and this one was done so well. Spice and chemistry was amazing, and I loved how willing Brody was to jump in and help Sutton with whatever she needed. The “Gossip Girl” vibe was a lot of fun, and the tension between Sutton and Brody was so good. Such a great read! *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Kelly Elliott does it again! I am always amazed how her books pack so much story into the page count for book. This series has smaller books than a lot of others but doesn’t lack in story or detail or world building even the slightest!

I do wish we would have had a bit more story explaining why Jack’s parents decided to disappear all of sudden and what the heck happened to him after he was arrested! But still, great book!

This one was quite nice. I really liked the small town mood and the history that Brody and Sutton had. They surely went through a roller-coaster to get to their happy ending, but it was worth it in the end.

However, the plot-twist in the 3rd act wasn't that surprising and felt flat to me. So, overall, I have 3.5 stars for this one!

From the first book Sutton and Brody caught my attention for the few glimpses of their interactions. My intuition told me that something had happened between them and I was not wrong. Brody Wilson is a delight. He is super sexy, gorgeous, charismatic and charming. Logically all those qualities attracted Sutton Bradley who is a few years younger than him. However, she kept her crush for him a secret until one night the stars are in her favor and something magical happens between them (if you know what I mean 😏). But everything falls apart when he discards her. He leaves to fulfill his civilian duty as a Navy SEAL and Sutton moves on with her life, marrying her high school sweetheart. Years later, Brody retires and returns to his hometown, and Sutton is in divorce proceedings, trying to put her life back together. Brody seeks Sutton's forgiveness, and also wants to win her back. So he gets to work to support her in everything she needs. Sutton is confused because she still has the memory of the only night she shared with him and the abrupt end. She's in the process of healing and she doesn't want to get hurt but Brody, OMG! Brody! That man does not give up. He makes her feel like the most beautiful and valued woman, and he shows it to her. He's willing to do anything, even a marriage of convenience to keep her psycho ex at bay, with the bonus of greater access to her heart through details and meaningful actions. Jeez! I loved the book and devoured it! I want a Brody in my life! Please, tell me where I can find him 😭😭😭.

4.5⭐️

I was waiting for this book, and not disappointed at all. Sutton and Brody, the attraction is there, but is the timing? After one night after her High School graduation, they give in, but Brody says hurtful things.

Sutton is now divorced, and Brody is home. Can they get their friendship back? I loved the story weaved around these two; emotions are pulled, gossip is on point, and will they get a HEA?

Enjoyable read

I enjoyed reading Sutton and Brody's story. They have had feelings toward each for a long time, long before they acted on them when Sutton was graduating from high school. However, Sutton let it slip how she really felt about Brody and it drove him away. Years later, thanks to her ex-husband Jack, Sutton and Brody are brought back together again. The book was real steamy and also had a touch of suspense. I liked the surprises at the end and can't wait to read Palmer's book next.

Part of Me follows the story of Sutton and Brody and it picks up pretty much where the last book left off. And I don’t know about you guys, but after finishing Returning Home, I just had to get my hands on this book! When we first meet up with Sutton and Brody, you’re instantly pulled into their story. Things are changing and everyone is moving in different directions, and for one magical night, things change between Sutton and Brody. But the moment reality kicks in, Brody is forced to do something he’ll later regret. He thinks he’s doing the right thing, but he breaks Sutton’s heart and that decision forces her into the arms of another man. It will be many years before the two of them are reunited. Life and time may have changed, but the chemistry between these two burns brighter than ever. Will Brody and Sutton finally have their second chance? There’s only one way to find out…

Part of Me is a wonderful addition to the Seaside Chronicles series. With an intriguing plot and likable characters, this story is sure to pull readers in from the very first page. . I loved getting to know Brody and Sutton. The pull between them was undeniable and I couldn’t wait to see how their story would come together. Their story wasn’t all sunshine and roses, it was filled with its fair share of drama, packing a punch, yet managing to keep things on the lighter side.

All in all, this book was a fantastic read. I’m a huge fan of this series and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the Seaside Chronicle series. If you’re a fan of Friends to Lovers, Fake Relationships, and Second Chance Romances, you won’t want to miss Part of Me.

This is the 2nd book in this incredible series, and this is Brody and Sutton’s story. Wrong decision drove these two apart years before, these two may now have a 2nd chance. Sutton owns her own boutique, and Brody was in the Navy, and now she is divorced and trying to move on with her life. These two have loved each other from a distance for years, and now they are taking 2nd chance on each other, but someone does not want them to be together. This is a well written story which is sizzling chemistry, friends / lovers, twists, heartbreak, challenges, intrigue, twists, drama, emotion, regrets, gossiping, humor, witty banter, family, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining small town romance story.

WOW! Kelly Elliott has done it again! I absolutely loved Part of Me, the second book in her The Seaside Chronicles series! I can truly say that Part of Me is an incredible love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I could not put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver incredibly written love stories that I LOVE to read! I love this incredible second chance at first love story, the Seaside, Maine setting, and the amazing characters, they feel like family! Kelly Elliott definitely does not disappoint her readers with all the feels in Part of Me and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about and expect from her books. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, big loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? I love how Kelly develops her characters in such a way that you fall in love with them and care about them much like a good friend. I love how Kelly Elliott always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver all that and so much more. I am not sure how she does it, but Kelly Elliott has once again given her readers another remarkable book. I love that Kelly chooses dialogue that stays true to her characters. Part of Me is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in a Kelly Elliott love story, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Kelly Elliott continues to prove that she is an incredible storyteller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. My favorite moments in Part of Me are the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing out loud. I also love the parts that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Part of Me is filled with such moments and so much more. Part of Me is a second chance at first love story between former high school sweethearts, Sutton Bradley, owner of Coastal Chic and Brody Wilson, welder. Sutton has been in love with Brody since she was a teenager, and she told him she loved him after a special night that shared together at a bonfire before she headed off to college. Brody was in the Navy and those words scared him because he felt the same way even though he did not tell Sutton, he did not want Sutton to wait for him. After heading to college Sutton got back together with Jack Larson, her boyfriend that she broke up with earlier and they get married. Sutton discovered that Jack was cheating on her and immediately divorced him and took out a restraining order against him. Brody does some repair work at both her home and at Coastal Chic for Sutton. During those shared moments Sutton admits what is really going on between her and Jack. As Jack continues to violate the restraining order, Brody suggests that they get married, hoping to convince Jack that Sutton and he will never get back together. I love how as Sutton and Brody are heading out of the Justice of the Peace that Addie and Gannon were heading inside. As Sutton and Brody begin to spend more time together as a married couple, things change between them, and they both admit their true feelings for each other. Feelings that they have felt since that night at the bonfire all those years before. Brody has a friend investigate Jack and discovers some interesting information that helps Sutton secure her ownership of Coastal Chic. My favorite part is how their relationship is fodder for the gossip column in the Seaside Chronicle. Those gossip columns were one of my favorite parts of the book. Conversation between Brody and Sutton flows so easily, I love the chemistry between them. I love the ways that Brody and Sutton spend time together. I love all the new things that Sutton has added to Coastal Chic, and Brody’s reaction to them. I love how Brody overhears Sutton explaining to Palmer and Harlee her reaction to seeing Brody in just a towel after his shower. An unexpected plot twist puts their relationship in jeopardy. My favorite part is the significance of the wedding ring and engagement ring that Brody gives to Sutton on their wedding day. I also loved the surprise at the end of the love story. Part of Me was an amazing love story; I am so glad that Sutton and Brody got the happily ever after. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story. Another favorite part is the epilogue and how it hints to the identity of the next Bradley sibling. I love all the characters in this series, I enjoy all the interactions among the Bradley and Wilson siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing and the descriptions of the Seaside in The Seaside Chronicles. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.

PART OF ME is the second installment in The Seaside Chronicles series. It cannot be read as a standalone it must be read in the order that the author intended or there will be missed information.

We met Sutton and Brody in the first book, RETURNING HOME, there you learned about the chemistry and dynamic between these two. In PART OF ME, you get to go back and see what happened between them and why Sutton is keeping Brody at arm’s length. When Brody finds out Jack, Sutton's ex-husband, has left a mess in the house they shared, he offers to help her fix all the things on her list. Sutton is resistant at first but realizes she needs his help, especially when Jack shows back up in town refusing to sell her his half of her shop, Coastal Chic.

I loved seeing Sutton fall for Brody all over again, and Brody doing whatever he had to to make sure Sutton knew those words he said back then were not the truth. The gossip column is my favorite – seeing the reactions from the characters the article wrote about each week. I keep trying to guess who it may be... I have some ideas!

Brody and Sutton have explosive chemistry. I can't wait to see what happens with Palmer and the new doctor in town!

I LOVE this series!!! Part of Me is the 2nd book in the Seaside Chronicles by author Kelly Elliott. Mrs. Elliott is the queen of happily ever after and one of my go to authors for romance. Part of Me gave this reader all the feels and checked all the boxes that I look for in a good romance. I will admit, I am a very picky reader! Author Kelly Elliott has never failed to deliver with any of hers I have read.

NOW.....let's get to all the goodness of Part of Me!!!

We have the story of Sutton and Brody. We were introduced to these two characters in book one of this series. These two have known each since childhood. Growning up in the same town, even had siblings that dated (read all about them in book one)!! Sutton who was four year younger, has loved Brody since as long as she can remember. When he left for the Navy she spent hours crying because she would miss seeing his crooked smile and hazel eyes. One fateful night on a beach changed their lives......and broke Sutton's heart once again. That's when Jack stepped in, making her forget by broken heart.

Fast forward years later, Sutton is in the middle of a nasty divorce. Once again, fate has brought Brody to her door. What Sutton doesn't know, is that Brody has been in love with Sutton for years. He is just too afraid to admit to those feelings. One thing Brody will do is protect Sutton any way he can. The journey of love for these two has many twists and turns but is worth the ride. Welcome to Seaside!!!

".....I'd fall from the moon if it meant getting to love you every day for the rest of my life."

Oh my heart!!! I loved Brody and Sutton's book. Kelly Elliott not only gives us main characters that capture our hearts but the supporting characters make this series perfect! Each book needs you wanting the next! This authors ability to draw a reader in only gets better with each and every chapter! Kudos to author Kelly Elliott for giving readers yer another amazing read!!

A 5 Star Marriage of Convenience

Loved, loved Sutton and Brody’s story! We knew something was up with them from Gannon and Addie’s story.

We figure Brody and Sutton had one night in their past where something happened to conform their feelings for one another, but all due to timing and circumstances, Brody just wasn’t ready to give Sutton what she wanted forcing her into the arms of Jack__s! Sutton wasted years with Jack and finally had enough and out herself first. She’s got her own business and is independent, all while Jack is in the background causing trouble and harassing Sutton. Brody has never gotten over Sutton and finally ready to admit his feelings.

What starts out as a marriage of convenience for Brody and Sutton quickly turns into a passionate, sexy, all consuming , soul mate love for these two! My kindle was melting from all the heat pouring off the page!

“I’ve tried for so long to fight my feelings for you, and I’m tired of denying the truth. I think it’s safe for me to fall.” “Fall?” I asked with a questioning look. “That’s what it feels like, Sutton. Like I’m on the edge of a cliff, and the only way I can have you is to step off it and fall. That thought used to scare me, but now…I’d fall from the moon if it meant getting to love you every day for the rest of my life.”

Can you say swoon? Brody just melts your heart. The way he loves Sutton and protects her! These two go through some trials due to Jack, but they come out stronger on the other side. This was a great story, along with the gossip column giving it a Bridgerton feel! I have my suspicions it’s sometime in their circle.

Can’t wait to read Palmer and Mason’s story.

Dear Readers,

It has come to my attention that New York Times Best-Selling Author, Kelly Elliott, has written and is about to have released her second book in her series 'The Seaside Chronicles' which has been titled 'Part of Me'. This reader once more was very thankful to have early access to this next chapter in the series, which will no doubt be a hit with the bookish ton as was the first instalment. Are you ready to return to Seaside?

As mentioned in my previous review for the first instalment in this series, Returning Home, I posed the question 'Will her new series bring forth all that we know and love about her writing--plus, perhaps, something new entirely--, making us fall in love with her all over again?'. Well, dear readers, I am happy to bring you good news to answer this. The answer is 'yes' to both. Kelly manages in this latest novel to both give us all that we know and love about her writing, while cranking up the sweetness and spice. I, for one, fell for her writing all over again. With Kelly, a read always feels like coming home.

It's good to be back in Seaside.

There is one aspect that has to be mentioned, and that is the blurb. This juicy tidbit of information gives us all we can-and will-expect to read in this novel. The focus this time is not on Gannon and Addie, but on Sutton and Brody. If you noticed a familiar name out of those two, then you are right. Little miss Sutton is Addie's sister. The question now is this, will her fate be the same as her sister in securing a Happily Ever After, or will there be a twist in the tale? There is only one way to find out. Pre-order your copy of Part of Me, and get ready for more fair winds and blowing seas.

Daring and bold, Part of Me as previously mentioned, is as deliciously sweet as it is spicier. In the right places, that is. And I'm sure you know where I mean by that, dear reader. The balance of sweet and spice has been executed well, weaving in situations that hold our breaths, make us gasp, swoon and bite those lips to keep grins and giggles tempered down. Praise, it must be said, needs to be given to Kelly for being bolder with the bedroom (and non-bedroom) scenes. This reader wholeheartedly approves of what she has read and would like to politely demand more!

This enthused reader was over-the-moon happy with this novel, as it exceeded every prior expectation and then some. There was always this feeling that I was going to like what has been written here, based off how Returning Home concluded, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I LOVED it. I will and am going so far as to say that not only did Kelly Elliott impress me with this novel, it has also made my must read and top read of this year's lists. Bravo!

What are you waiting for? Roll up those trousers, shuck of your shoes and socks and dip your toes into this next read that will get sand in all the right places, and give you everything you love about the sea, sun, romance, and Ms Kelly Elliott.

Safe sailing through this sea of love, fellow readers. Until next time! Five stars!

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

PART OF ME is the second installment in The Seaside Chronicles series. It cannot be read as a stand alone it must be read in the order that the author intended or their will be missed information.

We meet Sutton and Brody in the first book, RETURNING HOME, there you learn about the chemistry and dynamic between these two. In PART OF ME you get to go back and see what happened between them and why Sutton is keeping Brody at arms length. When Brody finds out Jack, Sutton's ex-husband, has let a mess in the house they shared he offers to help her fix all the things on her list. Sutton is resistant at first but realizes she needs his help especially when Jack shows back up in town refusing to sell her his half of her shop, Coastal Chic.

I loved seeing Sutton fall for Brody all over again and Brody do whatever he had to to make sure Sutton knew those words he said back then were not the truth. The gossip column is my favorite seeing the reactions from the characters the article wrote about each week. I keep trying to guess who it may be...I have some ideas!

Brody and Sutton have explosive chemistry. I can't wait to see what happens with Palmer and the new doctor in town!

Part of Me is the second book in the Seaside Chronicles by Kelly Elliott, and if you have read the previous you have already meet this couple. Sutton and Brody know each other from when they were young, they have a history but because they were young and Brody was just starting his life plans he got scared and didnt tell Sutton about his real feelings. So when she is in college she gets married to a bad guy that of course year after ends in a divorce, and a difficult one because the guy doesnt want to leave Sutton alone.

Fastfoward in the present Sutton is trying to start her new single life fighting for her boutique and she decide to include a new sexy section on it, so she needs help to restore and build stuff and that's where Brody offers to help her and she can pay him with meals. So they start a friendship trying to forget about her past story, but once they start interacting more they can denied their feelings and when Broody know she can help Sutton to get rid of her husband he offers to marry her so the other guy doesnt show anymore in her life.

Sutton being so tired of her ex-husband accept Brody helps and they had a "fake marriage" or they think thats what is happening until their real feeling start showing and they cant denied it anymore so they need to decide if they are sure about having a real marriage and start the relationship that they should have when they were young.

This book was an amazing read!!! I'm so excited to read the next one!!!

Kelly Elliott introduced me to my love of hot swoon, romances, those that take you to places and meet people that give you that warm spine-tingling feeling that makes the world just feel right, and her new series 'The Seaside Chronicles', is fulfilling all of those feelings.

Part of Me is a beautiful second chance romance that has all the signature Kelly Elliott moments. Brody and Sutton's story was both emotional, deeply moving, and of the charts chemistry, with that little dash of humour from our mystery Seaside Chronicles writer (although between you and I, I think I may be starting to guess who that person may be).

It may have taken this couple seven years to find their way back to each other, past the tentative friendship that has been in place during those years, since Brody, with one sentence, broke Sutton's heart and, lead her back to her cheating boyfriend Jack, now newly divorced from Jack, Brody and Sutton may have their second chance but, Jack isn't out of the picture yet. I loved the twist in the tail that Ms Elliott expertly added, as a writer, this author keeps growing, adapting and producing more must-read stories.

I was in swoon book boyfriend heaven with the second book in this must-read series, which will easily sit alongside Ms Elliott's other masterpiece series.

This is the 2nd book in this series and I loved it. After being teased with Brody and Suttons story in book 1 I couldn't wait to watch their story play out.

Sutton has been in love with Brody for years. When she finally gets a chance with him she thought her dreams were coming true until he crashed her back down to earth. He just never expected his decision to cause her to marry Jack.

After years of being unhappy Sutton is finally getting rid of Jack by divorcing him and finding her new path and her happiness again. She can finally be herself.

Brody is back in town and now Sutton is single he wont make the same mistake again and will do whatever he can to protect her and make her his.

The chemistry between them was off the charts HOT. Even when they were both trying to hide their true feelings. I could feel the steam coming off my kindle, it was that hot. Once they finally give into their feelings there is no denying this.

With family, friendships, love and passion mixed in with some drama and angst makes this one book you wont want to put down until finished.

I was gifted a copy of this book from the Author. This is my honest opinion

Sutton and Brody finally get their second chance! Their story was set up in book one of the Seaside Chronicles series, which I highly recommend reading first as readers get background into the Bradley and Wilson families and their history.
After breaking Sutton's heart when they were young, Brody comes back in their little port town after leaving the navy. But Sutton has tried very hard to ignore him, as her feelings have never gone away, despite a disastrous marriage. When Sutton needs help, Brody is more than willing to step in and help the woman he regrets letting get way.
Sutton is such a spitfire. She fights those feelings for Brody at every turn, as well as his help. But he's not taking no for an answer. Those protective instincts come in handy when Sutton's ex decides to make trouble. And who could resist falling for the hero...even if you didn't think you actually needed one.
This is my third series by Kelly Elliot and I am always blown away by her storytelling. I love the strong female characters that she writes and the men who love and support them. It's hard being patient for the next story to come out, but I've already added it to my calendar so I'll be ready to read it as soon as it's released. Let's see if this new couple can replace Sutton and Brody in my heart.

Part of Me by Kelly Elliott
Ok let me start by saying I freaking love this author and I have been a fan a huge fan for quite some time now so anything she writes I am excited to read. Then I will continue and get it off my chest and say and I know hate is a strong word but you guys I really hated Jack and I mean like really he was useless and a waste of air. All of the absolute crap that he puts Sutton through ugh I wanted to punch him so badly. Oh and then we have the gossip column I just need to know who is writing it. I loved the connection and the love between Sutton and Brody it was so sweet and hot. All of the fun they have trying out the merchandise from Sutton’s store oh boy it was scorching. This book has a bit of everything that you need to have a perfect read. It has suspense, because the author does an amazing job at weaving enough suspenseful moments to keep us engaged and guessing. Sexy and hot moments are definitely present and have you reading page after page fanning your self as you read. And enough romance and love as well as witty fun moments to make the perfect romance book. Definitely a highly recommended book. Can’t wait for the next one because I just know if will be as good if not more.
