I don't see a logical reason behind their contractual relationship and I also don't understand how they fall in love all of a sudden. This is just another cliche story .
Such a wild read, like from the title it's crazy but it is crazier than you think. The book starts at an odd place for these transmigrating stories, Siella the MC has already been in the book for a while. The book starts with heroine confessing to Siella that she's having an affair with Siella's trashy fiance. (This is not a spoiler, it is literally in the synopsis.) She then randomly sends out an email to the crown prince asking if he wants to have an affair....huh??? She went if 2+2=4 then make lemonade. Hilarious starting premise for a book. She was a very smart and diligent. She was also an oddball. The crown prince was a cutie. Loved them together. Overall a very entertaining read. I did not like the side stories though, couldn't finish them.
This book is very random. Like our transmigrator lead runs a whole cheater exposing guild due to her personal history and the unjust legal system for the empire. However, she sort of abandons these ideals to transform it into a chicken skewer business. Then she sponsors magical artifacts with this "legitimate" income source and follows that up by getting everyone addicted to the lottery. She’s allegedly very talented in getting people to fall into her traps by knowing they are lustful or greedy with her book knowledge, but literally can’t identify a person covering like ten percent of his face. Her magical powers are awe inspiring but eat at her life, well sometimes. The second male lead is trapped in the body of a 13-year-old child for part of events. There are melting gemstones, mind control, trivia contests from the Empress, reincarnation, dragon curses, possessed mirrors, sticker book promotions, and drug kingpins. It's not like all these ideas are silly or bad. Some are clever or interesting, but the presentation jumble is a bit much. You can't build tension when a new magical power or character will just pop up and a different conflict will be featured in the next chapter. It's also very inconsistent... some people that treat her badly are not punished, some that treat her nicely are belittled. Eventually I just gave up before our star crossed lovers can reach their HEA. (Season one of the webtoon and up to chapter 91 in the novel)
