Cake o’clock

Rate this book
When he finds out it's Mom’s birthday, Bob drops everything to wow her with a cake. Or at least, that’s the plan. ♥ A sweet rhyming story about playfulness, dedicated to all the daydreamers out there, ages 3 and up. Life is anything but boring for Bob, a spirited kid who lives in the moment and can’t stop noticing the marvels around him. Even the slightest, most unremarkable thing can send him straight to Wonderland. But what will Bob do when he has to finish a task quickly and the clock keeps ticking? Come along with Bob on his quest to bake Mom a cake and find out why cooking is more about love than it is about ingredients. Together with your child, explore topics creativity triggers, distractibility, the passing of time, problem solving, and unconditional support. Tick-tock, tick-tock, enough with the talk. Let the fun begin!

Alexandra is an indie author who lives in Zürich, Switzerland. Childish mom by day, storydigger by night, she dreams to share her stories and spread kindness and respect, improve emotional awareness, encourage self-acceptance and bring smiles on the little ones’ faces. Because there is NOTHING* she loves more than surprising kids with ridiculous ideas and making them laugh and jump for joy.

*Full disclosure, she might love chocolate more, but shh, don't mention it.

Such an adorable book with beautiful illustrations and clever rhymes. This is the perfect story for kids with busy minds and vivid imaginations. Will read it with my little one for years to come.
