Nothing new here for people that have studied this a while, though the author repeatedly told me how groundbreaking this information was. If there was anything helpful, I personally couldn’t see it through the sales-y and self congratulatory writing.

To improve something, you need a clear picture of what you’re working with. The first secret is all about getting a read on your emotional state – as well as the thoughts and beliefs driving it.
Your moods can fluctuate a lot, even in a single day. So to get an accurate reading, check in with yourself at four specific times per day, for 15 consecutive days. Set an alarm if you must. While this technique should continue past the initial 15 days, creating the habit will make it come more naturally to you later.
When your alarm goes off, shift your mind to a calm, open state. It may help to remember that your only job is staying objective and gathering the best data.
Next, ask yourself the following six questions, and quickly jot down your answers:
On a scale of 1 to 10 from terrible to great, how am I feeling? Why am I feeling this way? Is there anything from the past affecting my thoughts? Am I thinking about future concerns? Am I predicting an outcome? Is this feeling my own, or is it someone else’s? Over time, your answers will reveal patterns about what situations and people bring good feelings versus bad ones, and free-flowing energy versus blocks. It’ll also give you a snapshot of your energy in the midst of it all.

Second, write your goal down, framing it as a statement of what you are becoming. Statements beginning with “I am in the process of …” are more believable to your mind – and keep your vibration high.
Third, expand on your goal – what exactly will it include? And give it a timeline – when do you want it to show up? For instance, you might describe – or draw – your soulmate’s values and appearance, and say you want to meet them within six months.
Fourth, spend 15 minutes meditating on your goal when you wake up, or right before bed. Call to mind every sense and emotion about how you’ll experience it.

A friend of mine gifted me her latest book ‘the promise’ and since reading that book I decided to check out her others. Needless to say, I have learned so much from this author! I highly recommend
The beginning of the book was a bit slow, but once the 8 Secrets arrived, the book was a lot better. It has a positive influence and offers good tips to manifest better.
This book is overall positive and encourages you to clear negative energy to help you manifest. There were some new concepts (like reverse-manifesting) in this book which I really enjoyed learning about.
I think my main critique overall would be that the author could have provided more than one way to detangle energy/let go of negative energy/programming -- e.g. therapy. She says you don't have to intensively work through your trauma (which I guess can be true?) but there's nothing wrong with doing that either--it has many benefits.

These can block your goals and make upsetting outcomes occur. I enjoyed and appreciated what she had to say about manifestation. I had to loom past the “if you imagine it, it’ll happen “because that was a little much. However her explanation of energy and vibrations is interesting and I will take away those points the most.

I found the book to be extremely interesting on many levels. I had many 'aha' moments while reading it and needed to walk away and digest the thoughts and feelings that came from them. So far, no 'miracles' have appeared, which having followed everything, I would assume there to be some shift, but in reality, this book led me onto another path with the miraculous year and I have and continue to find their words inspire me more, so I thank Mandy Morris for helping as a stepping stone. I do intend to re-read it and see if I missed anything. I found the latter quarter of the book less than the rest, not sure why? Perhaps as nothing had changed by that point, I was feeling a little downcast and frustrated, but I will persevere and continue to develop myself
I didn’t connect with this book as much as I hoped to. While it had some helpful guidance around manifesting, I also found the author to be a bit neglectful of acknowledging challenges that may make manifesting difficult for the majority of people due to gender inequality, financial issues, mental health struggles, physical disabilities, ect. I am proud of the author for all of her hard work and success, but as a good looking white woman (with many celebrity friends) she seemed to have a bit of a leg up in the industry. I respect her hustle and drive around helping others grow, but the delivery of the audiobook just fell a little flat for me.

I grabbed that up immediately, as my reading time is present limited. ... Being a thriving profitable entrepreneur and business owner. I need to listen again. Mandy has a light soothing voice.

I really looked forward to reading this book and it didn't disappoint. I still have to test and try all the techniques, though I also did do the exercises while reading but have the feeling I "have to" do more. But really easy and interesting reading. Nice views and examples. Also makes me want to join the community, which I think I am anyway already part of. :) So recommended to anyone interested in this topic. Some parts maybe a bit "sciensy" but makes it even more interesting. So maybe I should just go and give it 5 stars, something is holding me back... not sure what. :)
Of the numerous books I have read about manifesting, this one is pretty good. She had a lot of data about the science of this type of practice and some fairly actionable steps to take. That said, there’s a lot of stuff that feels pretty complicated and these books always want you to do years of emotional unpacking before you can manifest anything, so that if you don’t succeed it’s basically your fault for not letting go of past trauma. But I like her approach and will try it!
Overall the book has good information on manifestation and the practises needed to start using it. Much of what she talks about is taken, even if not intentionally, from Stoicism. Some of the stories seem embellished, especially the ones related to personal health and the research she took part in. It’s another one of those books where the author also plugs their business regularly through each chapter.
I forced myself to finish this book... I wrote down three takeaways from this book (in comparison to multiple pages in my notebook from others on spiritual awakening). It's the first one I've read on manifestation and maybe this kind of material just isn't for me. It feels over glamorized and the stories of her past clients feel too embellished...

I read through once in its entirety then again to implement the steps. I will likely continue to refer back to this book whenever I need to.
