Will it be love at first sight, or are they fated to hate?

Abi

Some people go for dinner or coffee for their first date.

I got married.

Time and opportunities to meet Mr Right are slim, since I'm working three jobs. It's ridiculous to think a reality-TV husband might be the one... but it will mean a break from my regularly scheduled life.

And what if he is?

Finn
To rehab my image — one I've cultivated for years, thank you very much — my agent has given me the hardest role I'll ever have to play. A 24-hour loving husband, on reality TV.

It's just 3 months. I can handle that. That's all it will take for my latest sexcapade to be forgiven and forgotten, and instead of finding myself on the D-List, I might salvage my career.

I just have to stay strong and not fall for the perfect woman they've chosen for me.

That's the problem with reality TV. It's so hard to know when it's TV and when it's real.

Married Blind is a standalone marriage-of-convenience Hollywood romance set in the Kings of Screen world.

This is the first book by this author I've read and it can be read as a standalone. Like the tv show Married at First Sight, Abi and Finn meet for the first time at the altar. The dynamics between these two is well written and entertaining. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys the forced proximity trope.

Abi Johnson works three jobs to make ends meet and she doesn’t have time to date, much less time for a relationship. When she is given the opportunity to go onto a reality television show, she feels she doesn’t have anything to lose.
Finn McCarthy a well-known actor who’s in the spotlight for his playboy ways; has an image problem. In order to fix his reputation, Finn’s agent gets him cast as a loving husband on reality television show. Finn doesn’t see a problem he can act his way through the show.
Abi and Finn have their first meeting - at the altar where they are wed. This couple is thrown into various situations all of which are aired will be aired on television. Finn and Abi are charming, witty and vulnerable. Will they surrender to their feelings or will they go their separate ways when the cameras switch off?
Morgana Bevan has written a wonderful story that I couldn’t put down.

This was a great book, and quick read. Once I got started, I didn't want to stop reading it until I finished it.

In this non-traditional romance, the marriage comes before the love story. When Abi decides to sign up for a reality show in which she marries an unknown celebrity for the 3 months for a large pay off....money she intends to use to help her sister pay off medical debt...she never expects to find true love. For Finn, Abi's married at first sight husband, the show offers an opportunity to rehab his reputation and try to save his career, after rumors cause him to be too much of a risk for studios. What neither Finn nor Abi expect is to find love and a real marriage.

Married Blind (King of Screen Book 2) by Morgana Bevan - Review by Jessica Stone

A wonderfully written contemporary romance, forced proximity, marriage of connivence, this book was a blast to read!

Our FMC Abi, is already working three jobs trying to make it, and afford to pay for the care of her sister, who has cancer. On a whim, she signs up to be choose for a reality tv show, (Married Blind)that has a big payout, the last thing she expects is to be chosen. Now all she has to do is marry a total stranger and fake being in love, easy peasy right, she can get through anything to help her sister.

Fin, our lovely MMC, heartthrob, famous actor, "the next Ryan Reynolds's" is, well to put it frankly, a playboy. Fin, already having a bumpy imagine, and after being recently caught in a precarious position has one last chance to save his imagine, and his career for that matter. All he has to do is marry a total stranger, fake being in love, and have the whole world watch everything for three months. He's an actor, this should be no problem for someone with his skill set, right?

This was a fun read, I love forced proximity stories, it definitely ups the angst and tension between the characters and there is absolutely no lack of that in this book. The relationship that forms between our characters is everything I wanted from this book and then some. It's fun flirty, a little weird at times, but so very wholesome, it definitely made my heart beat a little faster.
This is a standalone in the series and the first that I've read from this author but I'm excited to read more from her.

This is the second book in this series from an author I am quite familiar with as I try to read all her books. Since I started reading her books I have found that I cannot put them down because she pulls me in from the beginning chapter. This was no different. She has a way of making these characters feel like they are friends or family that you have known your entire life. I loved that she took a reality TV show and made it seem like something that I would want to do. Except I do not think I would ever be able to marry someone I have never met. That to me just seems like an accident waiting to happen. The main characters in this book were steaming up the pages with their chemistry. This was the one thing I questioned because while you can immediately have chemistry with someone I just do not believe it is possible to be “in love.” More like be in lust with one another. And while that may have been the actual case with these characters they did end up with an amazing love story. It was quite a satisfying ending I thought. I highly suggest you read this book as well as her others if you are ready to laugh, cry and wet yourself laughing aloud. Delightful story. Cannot wait to read book three in this series.

Just loving this fun cover 😍

I’m not the biggest fan of Hollywood romance but I’m both grateful and thrilled to have been given the gift of Abi and Finn ❣️

Now where start with these two endearing souls ….

Abi is the girl you can’t help but love , she’s found herself in a rather precarious position where’s she’s in debt but of no wrong doing , the debt was incurred for her sister’s cancer treatment and now the big mountain in front of her is how to settle her debts and it would seem her answer is a show away …

So Abbi joins the show and she has to spend time with Finn, her now new husband and if Cupid is kind she gets her very own HEA and her debts are settled or she simply walks away with her debts settled , sound like a win win but is it really !?

Finn is your typical bad boy celeb and he has his agent killing fires all over the place and I’m sure sis agent has aged prematurely 🙈😂 his favour with fans is dwindling and desperate times call for desperate measures and so he joins the show ….

I must be honest I didn’t like Finn too much I. The beginning but be patient with him remember a diamond starts as a grain of sand and if Annni can do it so can we ❣️

I found this book so entertaining. Reality TV marriage. Three months for Finn and Abi may have felt like a lot but with the sass and their friends, this sure sounded like a made for tv drama fest. Finn screwed up big time and was told he had to do this. I loved him because he kept trying to weasel out and the producer called him on it. Abi was just trying to help her life and her sisters. Could they get through this fiasco? Would they end making this phony marriage work? This is a fun and humorous read. It’s got some serious moments, a dash of steam here and there and some characters that will embed themselves in your head. The story line is fantastic. A definite must read romance. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This Is one crowd that you won’t be able to forget.

What a fun read!!! This very talented author created a great storyline with such lovable characters that you just wanted to keep reading from the very first word. I am not much of a reality tv watcher myself but I loved reading this authors take on this type of show. She created such vividly described surroundings and events that you really left like you could see everyone and everything as it was happening. I loved the characters Finn and Abi right from the very start even if Finn was at times giving me as much whiplash as he was giving Abi! More than a few times I wanted to yell at them to just damn well talk to each other LOL. They totally captivated my heart! Even the side line characters had me wanting to know more about them. I am looking forward to more not only from this series but from this wonderful author in general.

5 Stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a new author to me and I can say....I LOVED this book!! This story was such a fun read and I devoured it in one sitting. I could not get enough of Abi and Finn.

Trying to save face, Finn agrees to participate in a TV Reality show and marry a complete stranger. Finn is such a ladies man and player for sure, but trying to help his own image he decides with hesitation to "marry" Abi. All Finn needs is 3 months.....

Abi is a hard worker with multi jobs trying to help her sister Eva and has no time for any dating or meeting new people. When Eva and Abi's best friend, Ros, plan up to have Abi apply to be part of this new reality show, Abi is hesitant...but then decides what does she have to lose. Will she meet her Mr. Right....

Can I say I love Abi and Finn together, their attraction is sizzling, even at first Finn being hot and cold...trying to keep Abi at an arms length and not get to close...I was rooting for them from page 1. Such a great contemporary romance that gave me all the feels of romance, banter and sizzle... and I am totally looking forward to reading more from this author for sure!!

Married Blind
By: Morgana Bevan

This was such a fun book. I love that although this is deemed a “Hollywood Marriage of Convenience” I could really picture something like this happening in real life. I loved the characters. At first, I thought Finn was an awful character, he was just really unlikeable. However, as the book went on, I really liked his development and his reasons for keeping himself guarded. I mean expecting Abi to be a gold digger or opportunist really wasn’t a big stretch. Abi was such an amazing character who truly loved her friends and sister, which is how she ended up married to Finn. She was such a charmingly lovely character, despite not having the easiest life she never seemed jaded or angry. I definitely recommend this lovely story as it was an enjoyable and fast read.

Contemporary blind date romance
A well written great fun read. Abi and Finn are adorable. A relationship formed from convenience it was amazing to watch their connection unfold. But Finn has some issues from his past that he needs to deal with and Abi needs to work out her priorities. Told in dual POV this is Book 2 in the Kings of Screen series and even though each book is written as a stand-alone I love how there are characters that appear across each of the books. I am keen to see how the rest of the series develops.

Finn had me at 'Dotey'...

I was very excited to read this book by Morgana Bevan. I mean, reality tv, arranged marriage and broken pasts.? Give me more.!
Abi and Finn are truly a treat to read. Their story will grip you from the very start and have you staying up all hours of the night because you simply cannot get enough.
Morgana has a certain knack for writing men from the UK, reminding us about their accents and their ability to call you adorable without you even knowing it.
I'm excited for the next in the series and will be waiting impatiently.!

I just love Finn and Abi! The book had my attention from the first chapter! I loved how Abi was so persistant with Finn. But he is a fighter! I think they are an amazing couple. The book was so well written. The charaters felt so real to me. I looking for Finn on movie websites and I have to remind myself he is a ficional character! If you are looking for a good story with some bumps along the way with a wonder HEA, this is the book for you!

Morgana Bevan made me like a story about TV reality. And that's an accomplishment on it self. But that book is so good, Finn and Abi are so cute together and, let's say it, Finn is so hot that I couldn't put the book down.
The characters are very well developed, far away from Hollywood clichés. It's the second book in the Kings of Screens series but it's a complete stand alone and you can go back to the first book after this one if you want.

Thank you to Morgana Bevan for providing me with an ARC of this book to read and review! This is a separate interconnected standalone series and I think it's my favorite of all Morgana's books up to this point. There was marriage of convenience, reality show setting, forced proximity and I loved ALL OF IT! Finn and Abi were a delight and I enjoyed the snark and sass each one of them had. I thought the friendships were great and I thought modeling the book after reality TV was truly so much fun. Each character had a lot of depth and emotion and the pairing was unmatched. The spice was also a good time and I adored Finn's nickname for Abi. I had a fabulous time reading this one and I'm definitely excited to see more of these characters.

I’m not usually a fan of Hollywood romances, but I decided to give this one a try since I have read Morgana Bevan before and LOVED her writing! She didn’t disappoint me in the slightest! It was a 5-star read for me!

Abi and Finn are very engaging and complicated characters. I wasn’t too much of a fan of Finn’s in the beginning, but I came to love him by the end of the book. I think I sort of felt like Abi did as she walked down the aisle to meet him for the very first time. He was very sexy and gorgeous to look at, but as soon as he opened his mouth, it didn’t matter how sexy he was. As each chapter progressed, Bevan kept giving me glimpses of him. He wasn’t such a bad guy, just a guy who had been hurt and was afraid of Abi hurting him as every other woman had done. And, Abi, who wouldn’t love her? She was a strong, strong woman who had been dealt some bad cards in life, but she never gave up. Her strength was inspiring, and I loved her relationship with her sister! Because the chapters were told from both Finn's and Abi’s POV, I was really given an insight into who they were. That was why I opened my heart to Finn! I just kept hoping he would finally open his eyes and not let her slip through his fingers!

There are so many movie star romances out there and that may be why I’m not such a huge fan! However, Bevan really made this one stand out. First, it wasn’t just a movie star romance, it had to do with being on a reality show as well. Second, the book starts with marriage instead of ending with marriage. The question is…will this marriage last? I highly recommend you read this little gem to find out. I don’t think you will be disappointed, and the icing on the cake, Bevan gives us just a little hint of what is coming in the next book, and it appears that it is going to be just as good!

𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪:

Wow! Where do I even begin?

First off, let’s talk about Abi. What a fantastic character! She's a true superstar in her own right, stepping into the wild world of reality TV as a sweet sacrifice for her sister. Signing herself up for a marriage on TV just to pay off her sister's hospital bills is extremely brave. Abi’s selflessness made me cheer for her; she has the kind of spirit that lights up every page. Honestly, How many of us would be brave enough to dive into a reality show marriage, all for the sake of family? I mean, signing up for that kind of chaos might make me question my sanity…especially if it involves sharing a bed with a guy I just met! Her determination definitely brought a tear to my eye and had me laughing out loud at her quirky take on life.

Then there's Finn, who’s really something else. His character is the embodiment of protective love. I loved how Finn was both charmingly flawed and irresistibly sincere. The way he looks out for Abi made my heart swell. His fierce protection of her feels so genuine and sweet! I mean, who wouldn’t swoon when a guy is ready to take on the world just to keep the woman he’s “married” to safe? It’s clear that he isn’t just playing a part for the cameras…his feelings grow deeper throughout the story, and I loved every minute of that emotional rollercoaster.

Their chemistry crackles right off the page, and I found myself grinning at their banter, wishing I could be part of their funny little reality show, You can’t help but root for these two as they navigate the ups and downs of their unique situation. The blend of humor, romance, and heartfelt moments made for a lovely reading experience that I didn’t want to end.

Up for an adventure and a nice paycheck that will help her pay off her sister's medical bills, Aby decides to apply to be on a reality TV show where she'll marry a celebrity without meeting him first. After three months of marriage, she can leave and go back to her life in New York. Although she goes in with a small spark of hope that she might actually fall in love, her main goal is to take a much needed vacation from her three jobs now that her sister's cancer has gone into remission, and collect the paycheck that will maybe finally allow her to get back to her own interests.
Finn gets dragged into the show because his playboy antics have gone too far and if he doesn't find a way to earn some good press, he could be looking at the end of his acting career. Basically, his manager forced him into it. He's relying on his acting skills to make it through the next three months, get himself out of trouble, and put the whole thing behind him.
Things heat up between the couple during a honeymoon staged by the show in Bora Bora, despite Finn's best attempts to avoid giving into his desires. And Aby questions how her new husband actually feels about her after noticing the facades he puts on when the cameras are rolling. Could his kindness just be an act?
As the end of the show approaches, a decision must be made on whether they want to remain married or get divorced. Insecurities begin to creep in and the differences in their lifestyles threaten to pull them apart. Is three months living in a bubble together enough to make things work outside of the show? Can they each get out of their own way enough to let love in?
The characters are adorable and funny. The story feels realistic and comes with some steam. Looking forward to more from this author.

I haven’t read the first one in this series, but if it is anything like Married Blind, I am addicted. The characters are real, the banter is funny, and the feels are many. Couldn’t put this one down. It is fabulous!!!!

Abi is up to her eyebrows in debt due to her sister’s medical bills. She is working three jobs to help pay them but she is barely keeping her head above water. Abi’s sister finds an ad for a new reality show and convinces Abi’s best friend to ask Abi to apply. Abi doesn’t think she will make it but she does. She will marry a stranger, stay married for 3 months, and then determine if they will stay together or get divorced. The things we do for family.

Finn got burned bad by the woman he thought he loved. He turned to the Hollywood lifestyle everyone thought he lived anyway. After his latest scandal, his agent thinks Finn’s reputation needs some rehab. The idea is to show a different side of Finn to the world, a dedicated, caring, steady husband side. Finn agrees to do the show but is not happy about it and doesn’t plan to make it easy for the producers.

Once Finn meets Abi and starts to get to know her, he thinks he could be in real trouble with her. Both Finn and Abi’s baggage keep them from revealing their true selves to each other. When Abi makes a choice because she doesn’t feel like she has any other options, Finn reacts badly and thinks Abi is just like all the rest, a user. What will it take to make these two drop their walls and let each other in?

I can’t wait for Book 3 to see how Abi and Finn are doing. This book was fan-dang-tastic.

Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience was a great romance book. Finn is one of the “Kings of Screen”, in Hollywood, with a bad boy reputation. He had a relationship that destroyed his image and continued to make poor decisions. His agent thought it would be best to marry a stranger on the show “Married Blind” to improve his image, but he would not be marrying another celebrity. Abi is a woman living in New York taking care of her sister who is in remission from cancer. They need help paying off their medical bills and this show is willing to pay her to marry a celebrity. Both go into the marriage thinking it is a stunt to improve both of their lives, but when both are highly attracted to each other that task becomes difficult. After their honeymoon, they both decide to give it a real try. However, will Abi’s responsibilities lead her away from love, and/or will Finn’s history get in the way of trusting a relationship can work?
I just adored the characters in this book, and they had great banter. The spicy scenes were pretty good too. Finn just screamed Hollywood hotty to me! He was portrayed as a playboy, but someone who didn’t want to be. He was honest, but brutal at times. However, when he let his guard down, you could not help but fall in love with him. He loves hard and honestly, but can’t let his past go. Abi is adorable. From the beginning, she is sassy and strong but also caring. However, like Finn, she also can overthink, which leads to miscommunication. I would say that young people should read more books where miscommunication is the main issue - things can be solved so easily if someone just speaks lol!

Married Blind is available now in Paperback and eBook
⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️ Book Review

Meet the Author: Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy rock star and movie star romances, she is working in TV production in the UK.

Synopsis: Married blind is the second book in the King of Screens series. Abi is a devoted sister, working three jobs to help pay her sisters medical bills. When her sister became ill she promised to stand by her side. When given the opportunity to go on a reality TV show for three months for income, it’s a no brainer. Finn, needing a chance to improve his image following some previous relationship shenanigans, agrees to take part in the reality show, but not without cost to the producers.

Reader’s Thoughts: This forced proximity, marriage of convenience, Hollywood romance is full of witty banter, tension, spice, and flirty fun. Although this is the second book within the series, it can be read as a standalone with no negative effect on the story line. The characters are relatable and lovable. If asked to pick a favorite character, I couldn’t pick just one. I enjoyed Abi and Finn equally for different reasons. When all was said and done they truly did make the perfect couple. The story line was a little far-fetched for my liking and I felt as if I knew the outcome from the very beginning. Despite this little hiccup, it would not deter me from recommending this fun read to a friend. I'm interested to see what is in store for book number three.

Abi and Finn are both independent and feisty. Agreeing to something they never would’ve in the past. Married Blind brings reality tv scenarios to a rom-com book. The author wrote a fun, sad, and happy story that you just get sucked into. There were times I actually laughed. There were times that brought actual tears to my eyes. I fell in love with these characters. I fell in love with the story.
Abi, working 3 jobs hard on money trying to help her sister rid herself of her hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical debt. Agreed to sign up for this show not only for the money but to give herself a chance to find who she is again. She’s had no life, her whole life the last so many years has been her sister and her cancer treatment. She only hoped that it would be more than a marriage of convenience for 3 months.
Finn, Hollywood playboy, is forced into doing Married Blind as a consequence of his actions. Planning to treat it as another movie roll, never intended that he would meet his match. A woman so enthralling to him he had to try extremely hard not to let his walls drop. He’s aware that she could be the very person who could destroy him if he lets her in.
Unfortunately for the both of them they underestimated Tyler, the producer, and the show. Putting them in situations that bring them closer together. The growth between these two is written beautifully. The author has won me over. I need to go back and read the first book, but I also look forward for the next guy in their group to fall.

Abi works three jobs to pay the bills...which include her sister's medical bills for cancer treatment. So, when her best friend and her sister both encourage her to apply for a reality show where she has to marry a celebrity for a nice little payday, she decides to be adventurous and apply. Who knows...may be she will find the real connection she is looking for.

After Finn's latest scandal, his agent decides he needs to do something to change his image...so he signs him up for a wedding reality show. He just needs to stay married for 3 months. Finn goes into it determine to keep his heart locked down and play the doting husband on screen only. He's been burned in the pass...and any woman who signs up for a reality show like this must only be after the money.

However, Abi throws Finn's plans out the window. As hard as he tries, he can't stay away from her. Over the course of their relationship, feelings go from fake to real and they open up to each other. However, a lack of communication causes a ripple effect that has the two questioning everything...was any of it real?

This was a good story that I found myself highly emotionally invested in. I could feel my heart break during some parts and rejoice during others. The story was well-written and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. At first I really disliked Finn's jerky ways...but as the story progressed, they made sense. I liked the supporting characters, too! Overall, a really good book!

This book is the 2nd book in the Kings Of Screen series but can be read as a standalone. I was unaware of the fact that there had been a previous book in the series before I read this and can say that I did not feel that I was missing any information needed to understand and enjoy this book. It’s set around 4 actor friends and each guy gets his own book, so although there are recurring characters it can be easily read on its own.
In this book we get the story of Irish actor Finn McCarthy, forced by his agent to enter ‘Married Blind’ a reality TV series where he meets his bride at the wedding. His bride is Abi Johnson, who is working 3 jobs to pay her sister’s medical bills. Finn assumes she must be a gold digger to take part in such a programme and is resolved to have as little to do with her as possible. Due to the constant filming they are forced together more than he would like, particularly as the more time they spend together, the more he realises just how perfect she is for him.
I really enjoyed reading Finn and Abi’s story. Their forced proximity results in some hilarious encounters between the two that I really enjoyed reading. Finn’s sense of humour provides some really entertaining reading.
The storyline flows very well and had me pulled in from the very beginning and not wanting to put this book down.
Definitely recommend.

This is an enjoyable and entertaining contemporary romance novel, which kept me captivated from page one. Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone story. The marriage-of-convenience Hollywood romance theme intrigued me from the start and the storyline had me hooked. Both Abi and Finn enter the reality TV show, ‘Married Blind’, for very different reasons, but they both agree that the first time they meet they will get married, and stay married for three months. For Abi it means taking a break from her regularly scheduled life in which she’s working three jobs, and in which she has no time or the opportunity to meet ‘Mr Right’.
Meanwhile Finn’s reason is simple as his agent signs him up in order to rehab his image and salvage his career after his latest sexcapade. For Finn the role of a 24-hour loving husband on a reality TV show will be the hardest part he has to play. Abi definitely did not expect a reality TV husband to be ‘The One’, and Finn never thought that he would have the perfect woman chosen for him. But the problem with reality TV is that it’s difficult to know, what is for the show and what is for real. I loved Abi and Finn as they are both likeable and relatable in their own ways. Their chemistry really comes across in the narrative, and I was cheering them on hoping they would both get their HEA.

Abi and Finn both sign up for a TV show called ‘Married Blind’. Basically they were to get legally married and stay together for 3 months being recorded along the way. After the 3 months are up, the couple are asked if they want to divorce or stay married.

Abi was doing it for the money to pay off her bills (with a slight hope of finding Mr. Right) while Finn, an actor, was doing it to up his image after a previous scandal.

Finn was going in with walls up. He could play the loving husband in front of the cameras but vowed to not get attached. With his emotions all over the place, Abi had no idea what was real and what was acting. One thing was clear though. The sexual tension was undeniable. Finn was having trouble staying away from Abi who seemed to be the perfect fit for him. A person can only deny their true feelings for so long before a line is crossed.

This book was an emotional ride. It made me smile, it made me cry. Meanwhile there was a lot of steam between the couple. I was not expecting the amount of spice in the book after reading the synopsis but boy, I am not complaining! I am not usually a fan of romance without a fantasy aspect to it but I really enjoyed this one! The author did a really good job portraying the emotions of both characters. Highly recommend reading this one!

Abi is pretty deep in debt due to her sister's cancer diagnosis. Unsure of how to pay all these bills, a friend suggests to Abi to apply for the Married Blind television show. Abi thinks about and decides she really has nothing to lose. For 3 months she is going to hang out with a complete stranger who she'll be married too. However, should she choose, she can walk away at the end and still get paid.

Finn is a television celebrity who's had his share of scandal and controversy. The solution to repairing his reputation, according to his agent, is to secretly join the show Married Blind and get married. They'll keep things on the down low while the show is taping and then once they've had time to get to know each other somewhat, they can go public. Finn's not the least bit thrilled with this idea but knows he needs to do something to save his career.

Is it love at first sight? The attraction is there but not sure one could say it was love. Join Finn and Abi as they learn to be husband and wife while just meeting for the first time at the alter. Bonus feature is that Finn is Irish and his friends are all European. The author is also British and uses language from that part of the world. I learned a few new terms! This book is spicy and full of a story of love and redemption.

Would it be easier to just get married on the first date versus the awkward getting to know you questions? That is precisely what Abi and Fin are about to find out as they meet and get married on a reality TV show. Fin is convinced he needs to do this to save his career, while Abi sees it as a break from her tiring life of three jobs and endless debt. Will actual sparks fly though? Can love really start this way, or is it just going to be one awkward encounter after another?

Morgana Bevan has written a gem of a book here, with realistic characters that you want to cheer for. I love how we got a mixed pov and we're able to get more insight into what each character was actually thinking and a more in depth look at their lives through their own eyes/ thoughts. This modern day marriage of convenience, contemporary hollywood romance was definitely a fun fast read. The characters' entertaining often sassy banter mixed well with the awkwardness of being forced together, and helped the story flow really well. I love the strength Abi, the main female character, shows throughout as she deals with one thing after another. It was also nice to get to know Fin and see why he made some of the choices he did. To know him was to fall in love with him! I definitely want to read more in this series and recommend this book.

I loved this contemporary romance. This is book 2 of the Kings of Screen series. Both of the main characters in this story have had hard pasts which make them the strong fiesty characters that we see. As the story progresses we learn their stories and their behaviours make sense.
I love the idea of marrying a complete stranger for a romance. Normally they meet and fall in love but in this story they didn't get that option. The first time they met is their wedding day.

Finn is an actor who desperately needs to mend his reputation. Known as a playboy, messing with the wrong girl landed him in hot water and now he's got to take drastic measure to make things right. Namely ending his playboy ways and getting married. It's only for 3 months what could go wrong?

In walks Abi, she is everything Finn has dreamed about and more. Abi applied to the show to pay off her sister's medical bills. She never imagined she would find romance but what happens when thats exactly what she wants from Finn?

Can a fake marriage turn into a real one? Will their attraction be enough for them to consider trying or will Finn's past experiences mean he keeps pushing her away until he loses her for good?

I loved this story and couldn't put it down as soon as I started.
