This jersey girl can surely spin a tale. Beautiful characters and a deeply moving story, definitely had me reaching out for tissues to dab my eyes.
A single mother in a new town, having visions. Her loneliness adds to her health scares. She is struggling to live a life devoid of her episodes, just take care of her baby.
It was heartbreaking for me to watch her struggle with her anxiety over things she couldn't control. Forever warring with her own mind, trying to clear the fog in her brain. But God works in mysterious ways and for every peril put on her, her guardian Angel- TJ is there to shield her. Krissy has created the PERFECT man who loves as strongly as her protects. His complete acceptance of Katrina Klenkos was adorable to see. He's dreamy, sexy, swoon-worthy and a family man. What's not to love here.
It's written with honesty and eloquence, she's improving with every book and I feel so proud of her.
The emotions jump off the page and land into your heart to stay there forever

I absolutely loved this story! From the very beginning to was captivated by Katrina and TJ’s story. There were ups and downs, emotional moments and heart-warming times and the author captured all of these perfectly. Her beautiful writing together with a wonderful storyline made this book and absolute pleasure to read. I really loved both Katrina and TJ but I have to say I think TJ totally stole my heart – he was just the sweetest character – I loved him from the moment that I met him in the story.
This really was a beautiful story to read and I would absolutely recommend it to other readers.

This book touches all the emotions, with the most wonderful characters who will capture your heart. Katrina is making a new life on her own, her ex-husband having dumped her after she found out she was pregnant. Kind-hearted TJ has been searching for the right woman, but is wary after being hurt in the past. When the two meet, it's as though it was meant to be.
However, Katrina is hiding a secret, one that she can never reveal to the man she loves. But when past and present collide, things don't go smoothly.
This is a wonderful, heartbreaking, passionate, moving read that includes a topic close to the author's heart. It's written with passion and soul, and the story is one that will stay with me for a long time. Contemporary romance with a touch of heat, and a love story with every emotion. Highly recommend.

I’ve read this book twice now, and I’m in awe all over again. Beck has set the bar impossibly high by stepping out of her comfort zone. She crafts a story interspersed with her own complex emotions and personal experiences, leaving pieces of her heart and soul scattered among the pages. It is, unquestionably, her best work yet.

Oh man, I loved this book. It just gave me all the feels. TJ and Katrina are perfect. They are sweet and loving. They both know what they want, but will their insecurities and their pasts keep them apart?

Oh my goodness! I read this , finished it , drowned myself in comfort food and Kleenex and then read it again !
I see a little of myself in TJ as in when I love I love hard and I love with everything and I’ll will do anything for those I love and sometimes that bites me in the rear but for most part people appreciate it anyhoo I was fortunate to find my soulmate and have been blessed and happily married for 20 years 😍
I don’t think Katrina would know what real love is even it came up to her and slapped her in the face , that is till TJ comes along and shows her what life and love can be like ….
There’s a “magicalness” to Katrina that draws me in and while I understand her fears and insecurities I just wanted to shake her and tell her to wake up to what is right in front of her ….
TJ teaches and coaches so that already says a lot of them man he is and his yearns for the family , home and white picket fence and it would seem that that’s in the pipeline with Katrina …. He’s a good , kind , patient and loving man with a really big heart and any woman would thank her lucky stars to have a man like him on her side ….
I really cried hard reading this . I saw and felt love , grace , hope , heartache, redemption and so much more . I felt complete when I finished it a second time round

“Key to His Heart” is an inspiring, passionate and magical story that shows us that we all have a soulmate who will love and understand us completely. I was so excited to read a love story that was a bit mystical and magical because it shows us that true love exists in different ways, and that none of them should be discounted. TJ’s love for Katrina was so deep and powerful that nothing could come between them. I swooned over the scene when Katrina sat in the rocking chair and heard TJ’s voice; what a beautiful way for them to meet!!
TJ is kind, thoughtful, romantic and more than willing to help Katrina deal with her past, her parents and her ex-husband. He is close to his family and they quickly welcomed Katrina and Toby into their tight-knit group. Katrina has grown into her own person since leaving her parents and especially since her divorce. She has become stronger and more independent and she finally felt in control of her life. She expresses herself in her artwork and I admire her determination to get to the bottom of her illness. All of Katrina’s dreams came true the day that TJ appeared in her life and she knew then that they were destined to be together.

I can't deny it, I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down.
Katrina is a wonderful leading lady. I love her determination to build a new life, her resilience in the face of the unknown and her ability to not only fight, but win.
Her back story is complex and sad but she refuses to let it beat her.
TJ is a rare breed of character. A man who wears his heart on his sleeve and knows what he wants and goes after it.
The stars of this book are TJ's family, who welcome Katrina and baby Toby with open arms and an open heart. It's refreshing to read a book where the family support network is exactly how it should be in real life.
I particularly liked the developments with Katrina's health. How the author teased the possibility of her seeing a world beyond what we ordinarily see and the affect certain illnesses can have on the body and mind. It's a real insight into this aspect of health and is written about with delicacy and honesty.
I was 100% invested in this story from the beginning and loved the two point perspective of our two lead characters.

It is told from a duel POV which balances the story while giving the reader a great perspective of events. Ms. Beck has woven her story with so much heart and soul. She has crafted some very realistic characters, who have been well developed with their own personalities, quirks, and flaws. It was easy to feel for them and what they were going through. Investing in them and their story wasn’t hard- I was all-in.

If you want a heartwarming romance that really tugs on the heartstrings then this is the book for you. It’s the 2nd book that I’ve read from this author and this one will also be getting 5 stars as I was totally lost in the story. It is the quintessential page-turner. The story is also based on some real life events. I’d really love to know exactly which parts of the story really happened.
Do you believe that your soul mate is out there? Is there someone that you are destined to be with? Have you had visions of this person and heard their voice? That’s what happened to Katrina. And what happens when fate steps in and you meet this person and it’s instant attraction on both sides? You really need to read this book to get the answers to these questions.
I adored Kat and TY’s story. I fell in love with both characters instantly and was swept along with their amazing story.
100% recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It took me a bit to get used to reading about a character with the same first name as me, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be 🙂

The characters was so easy to like as well as love. Neither character was perfect , but was made perfectly for one another. Toby was just a small token of what brought kat & tj together. The story behind the cover kept me turning the pages to find out how it all would work out in the end. Seeing the cameo of daisy was a bonus in for me in the book.Tj's family was so welcoming of kat she so needed that after her parents were so awful. My heart broke for her. This is a story that is going to stick with a person's mind well after you finish it.

I enjoy reading Kristina Beck’s writing. The beauty of her words draws you in expertly that you feel every emotion, every thought, even idea that the character has. You want to become this character.
When past meets present unconditional love is put to the test. In this Contemporary Romance a single parent will put her heart on the line for the man of her dreams. Will her confessions of all she has seen scare him away? Or convince him to stay?
This story was wonderfully written. It took my breath away. I highly recommend this book and author.

Really interesting story that was intriguing and sweet! Katrina is a great character that is hurt and trying to find her place. There are things happening to her that she doesn't understand. TJ is also great. He is a great hero that is open and supportive. I love theses two together. I loved the inclusion of Katrina's health issue. I think it was very informative and could possibly help readers see signs in others or themselves early, so they can get medical attention. Great soulmate, romantic read that was interesting and informative.

I am a huge fan of Kristina Beck's books, and this one has quickly topped my list of favorites. When beginning to read it, I had no idea what to expect. The first few pages intrigued me, and kept me rapt to a story that made me feel so many deep emotions in a short time. I fell in love with the characters, their struggles, and the hope that resides on each page. Honestly, I look forward to reading it again very soon. The world Kristina Beck creates in this book wraps me up like a warm blanket and steaming cup of tea, and I'm so grateful!

TJ is the SWEETEST character I have read, the way he just falls into Kat and Toby's life is swoon-worthy. I simply loved how TJ's family took Kat & Toby into the fold, the way they all love was heartwarming, especially after all Kat has been through. This one was hard to put down, particularly when things take a turn in a direction that made me want to scream a little. This was a great story with characters that made it easy to enjoy.

One of my favorite Contemporary Romances to date!
I absolutely FELL IN LOVE with this book. The love, connection and emotion was felt from the very beginning to the very end. When I say I couldn't put this book down, I literally couldn't, I was so hooked.

Fate, destiny, premonitions, whatever it is that brings TJ and Kat together changes their lives. Kat is new in town and a month away from delivering her baby. TJ is a retired NFL player who has come back home and taken a teaching job. When the two meet sparks fly. A very sweet read!

Something I've always found intriguing about Kristina Beck's writing style is the way she often creates a mystical, unstoppable connection between her characters that's woven deeply into the fabric of their story. You can't help but want more as the anticipation builds throughout and her soulmates find each other, as it's meant to be.
In this dual POV standalone, Key to His Heart, a divorced and very pregnant Katrina finds herself inexplicably drawn to the beautifully quaint town of Golden Crest after leaving her former life behind. She's starting over with a clean slate and is determined to provide her baby boy with the kind of life she never had- one surrounded by acceptance, joy and unconditional love. Kat doesn't know a single soul in this little town, but in her heart, she senses this is exactly where she's always belonged.
T.J. returned home to Golden Crest after a stellar career in the NFL. His life now revolves around his large extended family, teaching and coaching his former high school football team. Life is good, he has alot to be grateful for but he knows something is missing. T.J is
handsome, kind and not lacking for attention, but he's looking to be a one woman man, if the right person comes along. A family of his own has always been part of his dream and he hopes to find his forever love one of these days.
I was fascinated by the way fate kept stepping right in and paving the way, straight into each circumstance that, one by one, brought Kat and T.J. full circle into each other's orbit. These mysterious and meant to be moments are just the beginning of their journey, filled with twists, crazy turns and plenty of right place, right time, 'what the what' occurances! I was surprised to see a character from a previous book and delighted with the role she played in this one.
You can't help but appreciate the way all the many pieces of this story come together so seamlessly and beautifully. Their attraction may bave began as a slow burn, but it was also romantic, toe curling and sizzling hot with anticipation. Kat and T.J. understood, without a doubt, that what they found with each other was inevitably written in the stars long before they met. There were questions upon questions with answers that defied reason, but sometimes you just KNOW and have to trust your instincts and follow your heart!
Key to His Heart was touching, sweet, sexy, heartwarming and swoonworthy. Written with a clever hand, little nuggets of predestined truth bombs and tons of imagination, it will sweep you up into it's magic right from the start. This was a truly wonderful and touching story. The characters were very connectable, and my emotions of my own heart were all over the place as I read. It was beautiful to read, and I really felt everything for the characters that molded together as I read. Amazing writing as well! Sensational read!
The book was realistic and had excellent character development. You connect with the characters so well, if you love them hate them, or even question their motives. The more I read, the more I fell for the words of the characters. I know in life when something seems to be going right there’s that card that gets played that could change everything. And its up to the people to work through it. This book was full of light and hope. A passion that seemed fulfilled at every turn. Loved the story and writing!

There are things you feel you can learn from novels, but rarely is there a novel out there that has you learning how your own emotions work again. That was this one for me. Honestly, I laughed, shook my head numerous times, and cried. Man, did I cry. Happy tears, devastated tears, helpless tears, all of them. This author is something else, and I can't say enough about her writing that just made me so happy that I read this masterpiece.
The relationship between Katrina, TJ, and Toby is one for the ages. Building, and maintaining a family dynamic is difficult, and I found that this story gave the difficulty the recognition it needs. Having been a single Mom before meeting my partner, the emotions enveloped me immediately, throughout their story. The strength and courage that each of them brought to each other was genuine, and I loved every moment. Not to mention all the precious baby moments. Just when I thought I had my tears in check, the epilogue took that and, well, I will be reading this again soon, and you should too! Highly recommend.

Katherine has Visions that lead her to Golden Crest and to TJ, the faceless man in her head. Newly divorced and pregnant, she is initially hesitate but cannot deny the instant familiarity and pull towards him. She is determined to start over with a clean slate and do it on her own, but she soon learns she doesn’t want to do it without TJ.
TJ has recently returned home after retiring from a successful NFL career and wears his heart and his sleeve, which has resulted in a ver bad relationship and a hard break up. He is trying to be more guarded with his heart but he also cannot deny the pull towards Kat and wants to give it all to her.
The character development is very good and the story gives you all the feels. You can’t help but get caught up in the story and root for Kat, TJ and Toby

What a beautiful story. I absolutely love Kristin's books. It's always an emotional read, full of unconditional love, and all the spice with real life issues that make the story feel more real. I loved the insta-love connection between Tobias and Katrina and the little Easter egg thrown in there. I highly recommend this one. 4.5 stars!

I loved this book so much! The two main characters come together in such a unique way and they just can't stay away from each other. It's like they are destined to be together. Their story is sweet and I couldn't put it down.

This is an insta love story with a surprising twist that makes it all the more captivating. Life hasn’t been easy for Katrina. She has never known real love or affection, not from her parents or from the man she chose to marry. Her ex asked for a divorce on the day she told him she was pregnant then signed away all his rights to the child. Katrina has now settled down in a small town a few hours away from Philadelphia, in a rental home she was drawn to for its warmth and character. So many signs and nudges have led her here and she is determined to give her son, Toby, all the love and affection she never received. She meets her literal dream man the day she gives birth, first at the furniture store and then at her home when he comes to see what she needs done for the nursery, but finds her in the throes of labour instead. Both feel the instant, soul-deep connection and the need to be close to each other. Kate knows why they seemed to click right away, but she may never be ready to tell that secret.
TJ didn’t even notice she was pregnant the first time he met Katrina, but after witnessing the birth of little Toby, he is unable to stay away from her and the baby.
