Incredible! Just as good as the rest of the books in this series, as well as the interconnected "Apex Predator" series by the same author, D. A. Roberts! Literally, you have to read it to believe it . . . or is that believe it to read it??? . . . either way this entire series, including the "Apex Predator" series, is highly recommended by this reader to anyone who enjoys a good cryptid adventure!!! (And I love how they are centered in the areas near where I grew up and still live!!!!!)
I love the multiple storylines in these books. The characters are amazing the monsters are non stop and the battles are epic. Love the lore on the monsters. Always hate to lose a character in a battle. I like the way these stories are setting up for a (hopefully) big merge at some point. Keep them coming. I can never get enough of the wild hunt shape shifting. The Amanda twist was a nice touch and great to see Wylie and Funny join up for the fight. Never a dull moment for all these characters.
I'm fairly certain I've read every book by D. Roberts. And I have to say that he's probably the most consistent author, series and product that I've seen put on the market. I read about werewolves, dog man and all manor of cryptid but never somebody who can consistently and quickly put out quality content. Literally nothing is out of bounds and it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Keep em coming!!
I love these stories (the Moon series, the Lakeview Man stories, and the Wild Hunt Codename series)! I can't wait to see what comes next for these characters. There is so much potential with this cast of characters and the monsters they battle. Plus we have unfinished business with some them. Please keep writing!
I have enjoyed this book so much. I have to say that with the addition of the surprises this book may be close to my favorite of his books. I kinda hope this series never ends ..
As always I was not disappointed. I love all the characters, and all the action these books always offer. Can't wait until the next book. Thank you again for a great read.
This one was a really enjoyable addition to the series. Eager to see where things go with the new recruits. Loved having a "good" sasquatch around and the irish vampire is gold.
Great story! I love these books and all of the characters. The plots are really good and the characters are very well developed and lifelike. Some saf parts but they go along with a story of this type. Can't wait for the next one in any of these interwoven series!
This is only a personal opinion but I don’t watch movies anymore because I dislike the fact that they think the more They throw at you the better, no matter how outrageous. If it’s not semi believable it’s just not fun.
The three books in this series has been great. Monsters attacking and killing people and people who are shapeshifters and vampires and regular humans fighting back. It’s all unreal and definitely unbelievable but if you like reading about monsters this book has them and it has heroes who could Also be classified as monsters. Very good. Exciting and the action never stops. The writer has one heck of an imagination but so does the reader. Crazy in more ways than one.
This book was very well written. It tied up all the loose ends from the other two books. Really scary in some parts. I double checked the locks on my doors. I loved the ending. Made me happy! Keep up the good work. Possibly another book in the sequel? The possibilities are there.
Any stories that he writes dealing with "Good" vs. "Evil" creatures, like those in the "Wild Hunt" Teams or the Hotametaneo'o groups has me reading through to the end within a few days!
Love Roberts writing style! The details are magnificent, the fights fast and action packed. The characters ever evolving. I am always sad to reach the last page, because then I have to wait on the next thrill and breath stealing anxiety fun reading adventure.
Loved the group as a whole and how each character developed. Twists were not in short supply either. I love the Native American culture used and explained. Great book
The battles were exquisite! The beast too! I loved the battles, the Gorey parts, so many creatures in a book is just sublime! I didn't read until I finished and during reading that it was a 3rd volume! It was a good read
Omg this book and the others in this series as well as the other ones with these characters are mind blowing. I laughed, cried and cringed throughout them all. I just wish the author would do the other series so we can finish.
I really like D.A. Roberts books. He keeps the story flowing, lots of excitement and I like all the characters. Lakeview Man: Beast of Blunk Road introduces us to the Ozark Howler. A very bad creature indeed.
Loved this book, tremendous plot, great characters, moves along fast, author has solid grasp on characters, highly recommended this series and books, good job
MONSTERS! Another enjoyable read from this Author! & again I can't help wondering if this 'stuff' isn't really going on? & this is just drip drip drip ?
All kinds of ghouls and monster, lot of action Glad Clark forgave Amanda. They are great together. Really enjoyed reading. Have read quite a lot of these books.
