Ella Endures is a historical fiction novel set in Milwaukee starting in the 1920s when Ella is about to enter adulthood and continues to the 1960s. It was a refresher course in history, as well as an interesting story about the life of this woman and her family, which just kept expanding. A love story full of tragedy and hope. One tends to forget all the hard times those generations lived through. It is the middle book in a series. I enjoyed it!

Very good follow up to last book

This one felt like history paper with fictional characters woven throughout to tie it together. I liked it but struggled.
