I’m a broken record here, Gorri-sensei has written herself another steamy hit with Ash! Before I get into the meat and potatoes of my review I must warn you that before you read this book there are spoilers in it. I was kind of shocked but then I simply didn’t care. Ash appears in the Grazi Kelly series, also written by our illustrious paranormal goddess author extraordinaire Gorri-Sensei. If you haven’t read that series and plan on it you may wish to read it first or if you’re like me #yolo and go for it then that’s fine. I own the Grazi Kelly series but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. Now I know some big shockers about it but I’ve come to accept that and in return I got on “hell” of a book. (I’m here all week folks 😉) . Now with that out of the way let’s get i to it! I loved this story very much! Although it’s one of the most hated names in history Gabriella and or Gabby is a vile name reserved for the most fiendish of female denizens of the pit. When I say that I mean the bottom most dweller of scum. Did I mention that’s my ex wife’s name? 🤣😂 okay, so THIS gabby though turns out to be one of my favorite female leads by Gorri. I love her. Gorri can really write some great characters and I loved Gabby. 🤢 typing that sickens me. Courage! Okay lads! Ash is your typical tormented bad boy that’s not looking for love and thinks he’s undeserving of love until it’s dd’s hit him in the face 🙊🙉🙈. I really loved Mim, she seemed like such a pistol, I would love to read a book with her finding her HEA. what a good woman. Eve and Aphrodite had me laughing hard. That’s would I love about Gorri books, side characters are amazing. I had such an enjoyable time and hoping other characters get books because they had so much potential. The sphinx for instance 🤣 was hilarious, Ash’s elite guard was also a hoot. Lots of untapped potential there! This book was filled with action, laughs and lots of heat! There’s an inside joke there somewhere 😉. Lucifer also seemed like a riot a lot with the imps! As you can see there’s a lot going on in this book but really it’s about two people finding love in a very unexpected way. Both were shocked it happened and both definitely wasn’t expecting the other. Especially Gabby considering the time and place she met Ash. This was such a well planned and thought out book. I truly enjoyed it and to be honest I wished it was longer. It was just simply that good. But all of Gorri’s books are like this. This grumpy bear 🐻 gave this book 5 wolves 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 and 2 meteors ☄️☄️ for being out of this world good!

Gabriella is struggling to find her place in the world it's hard to find a teaching job. So when things didn't work out on the east coast her step-mom gives her a chance to start over on the west coast. She finds a job working as a Sunday school teacher in the church she grew up in but she not meeting anyone. Hoping to help her step-mom invites her out to a round of speed dating in which she meets her fated mate.

I like Gabriella she's this super sweet girl who found the tortured bad boy but who's the good guy Ash. I love the chemistry that the pair have it's heating up and has nothing to do with being in the underworld. I love the speed dating concept this isn't my first experience with Eve and Aphrodite's speed dating night.

The series is a bunch of authors each writing a different book in the series all following the basic idea that the couple met at speed dating. I really enjoyed getting to know Ash as I haven't read a lot of demon romance books. The author is new to me and after falling in love with her storytelling style I will be checking out her other books. Highly recommend if you love sweet paranormal romance.

The devil is on your side

Apparently hell is undergoing reorg, and it just got hotter! I love that we got to see an old frenemy from the YA books that started it all. Ash is a gentle soul, yes! Demons have souls, and for too long was kept under the thumb of another losing himself in the process. But luckily for him, he has friends, and fate, on his side. I absolutely loved watching this fast-paced romance unfold as both characters find inner depth that enhanced the story. This book opens a new level to the author’s world and I can’t wait to see where she runs with it next.

How much more complex can this potential relationship get? Lots!! I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I found this to be an enjoyable standalone story since this was my first book in this series. The story is about Gabriella (Gabby) a Catholic girl who left home to pursue her dream of being a teacher. Gabby returned back to LA feeling sick and despondent about her life choices and looking for work. Mim her stepmom invites Gabby to meet at a restaurant in LA. Gabby arrives at DeLux Café and is told that she's a werewolf and that she's going through her change and she's not dying. Gabby finds herself roped in for the Speed Dating by Mim and her friends. Meanwhile Asmodeus (Ash) the demon of lust is protecting the borders of the Underworld and looking at the changes of Purgatory since Lucifer got mated. Summoned by Lucifer, Ash is told to start dating to find his mate. Ash feels unworthy since his ordeal with Molloch and wants to be sent away to the southeast border where there's some unsavory activity. Lucifer orders him to Speed Date where he meets Gabby. This is a cute romantic story I couldn't put down. I loved both characters, I found the world building quite detailed, there's action and drama, and tongue in your cheek humor along with steamy romance in this ARC that I volunteer to read and review. This story piqued my interest for the others in this delightful series.

I loved this book. I mean- a Sunday school teacher and a lust demon from Hell who meet at a speed dating event? Yes, please! This was a fun read. I haven't read the first book in this series, but didn't need to to read this book. I love that neither Asmodeus nor Gabriella wanted to go to a speed dating event, but that's exactly where they found each other. Lucifer found his mate in the previous book and, wanting Ash to be happy, sent him to a speed dating event. He wasn't happy, but would never go against Lucifer. Gabby thought there was something wrong with her, only to learn she wasn't sick but actually a werewolf about to go through her first change. After which her stepmom immediately sends her into a speed dating event where she got completely drunk on Eve and Aphrodite's mixed drinks. Ash was hit so hard by her scent and the sight of her that he could barely think or speak straight. (So cute!) By his reaction, he knew she was his mate. Poor Gabby had a lot to come to terms with, but it was fun and I couldn't put this book down. I can't wait to read more in this series. 5 stars.

I really liked this book even though I had not read any of the previous books. I didn't feel like I missed a lot by not reading any previous books and I got the gist of it from little things I read in this book. Meaning this can be read as a standalone. Ash is the Demon of Lust from Hell and had been sent by Lucifer to a speed dating event. Lucifer wants Ash to fall in love and be happy. Gabby is a human who finds out she is a wolf shifter and her stepmother is also a wolf shifter. She is the one who gets Gabby to the speed dating event. Neither want to be at his event but the minute they start talking Ash realizes Gabby is his mate and decides he is going to keep her. There are still issues in Purgatory and Hell that Ash needs to take care of but as Gabby is his he also needs to help her with her shifting ability. This is a pretty fast paced steamy read that I really liked as is. No need to read any previous books here. This was a really enjoyable read.

When Lucifer order Ash, his general and Prince of the underworld, to attend a speed dating event Ash was not best pleased! Sunday school teacher,Gabby had thought she was sick but when Mim her stepmother tells her she is a wolf shifter and about to go through the change she thinks she has gone mad, especially when she insists she takes part in a speed dating event! One look (and sniff) and Ash knows he has found his fated mate. Now to convince her, protect her and keep the underworld safe from the rouges. Wonderfully written story with hot, steamy scenes, love, romance, danger and suspense. Absolutely amazing! Kept me enthralled from beginning to end. Can’t wait for more from this series.

Who would have thought that Demon's went to speed dating events. First book Lucifer finds his mate and he's so happy he want Ash, the demon of Lust, to go to the speed dating but Ash really doesn't want to find a mate but he goes anyway. Gabriella, who's a Sunday school teacher, is considered a goodie-two-shoes. She finds that she's getting ready for her first change into a werewolf. This was such a fun story and an awesome new series. I can't wait to read more of this series. C.D. Gorri is an amazing author.

I’m reading through Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld series in between other books. (I tend to read more than one book at a time.) I finished reading the second book, Ash, by C.D.Giorri, which happens to be my first book from the author. It was an enjoyable quick read, and I look forward to checking out the author’s other books.

Storyline/My Thoughts: This book has a Catholic Sunday School teacher being forced by her stepmother to attend the Speed Dating event at DeLux Cafe, while the Prince of Hell, who happens to be known as the Demon of Lust, is also forced to attend due to his boss, Lucifer making him. Lucifer found his happily ever after, and now he wants Ash to find his HEA, too.

Now, these two characters were adorable together. I liked how they met and were unexpectedly forced to attend the speed dating event to meet each other. I loved the secondary characters, too, especially when Mim, Gabby’s stepmother, met Ash.

Overall, I did like this book, and I give it 3.5-stars. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. They don’t have to be read in order, but I’m reading them that way because I hate reading out of order.

This an interesting read demon and a shifter at a speed dating event. Ash is the general of Lucifer's army. He is not one for love but is happy for Lucifer when he finds his love. So when he is ordered to go to the speed dating even it is the last place he wanted to be. Gabriella just found out that she is a shifter, when she goes to the speed dating event, still uncertain of her new world thrown in connecting with a demon and you can't help but get lost in the pages of their story.

Each of the books in this world are written by different authors... and a good time will be had by all! Imagine the chaos when a demon from Hell falls for a Sunday School Teacher! Sexy and humorous, Asmodeus and Gabriella had me chuckling from the start! A great read.

Ash is the general of Lucifer’s armies. He’s happy for Lucifer to have found his mate but has no desire for one of his own, however, Lucifer orders him to go to speed dating. It’s a bust til he meets Gabrielle, the bible school teacher who just found out she’s a werewolf. It is a bit ironic that a Sunday school teacher and lust demon are mates but it works. I found the book very easy to read and engaging. Gabriella is the perfect mate for Ash.

I love fated mates stories. This one didn't disappoint. The demon Ash was sweet and romantic when he found his mate. And Gabriella was an insecure teacher, that was working for the catholic church teaching classes. She didn't know she was a werewolf. When these two meet at a speed dating to-do, their lives will never be the same.

I was extremely happy that this was a standalone when I realized it was a book too. I definitely will be reading the first one and the rest to come. Yeah if you haven't read the first one I hear there may be a spoiler too but it definitely doesn't take away from the book.
What do you get when you add speed dating and Demons? You get a fast paced exciting twist of a romance of a book. Bad boy demon meet schoolteacher… Steamy and unexpected.

I was disappointed in this book, I usually love C.D. Gorri books. This book I felt like was just rereading every scence. Ash feels unworthy of love. Gabi feels that no one will want her. When Gabi is summoned to meet Mim at a restraunt, she learns things that she did not know. Then set up for speed dating. Ash is told he needs to go by Lucifer. Then sex and sex scences happen.

I didn’t read book 1 in this series but these books can be read as standalones, these books are written by all of these amazing authors and after reading Ash’s story I can’t wait to read more. Gabriella a Sunday school teacher goes to a speed dating event she didn’t want to but she went anyway and that’s where she meets Ash. I loved this story the characters and their sizzling 🔥 chemistry and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I loved it!!

Definitely 5 stars for this book! Some parts had me laughing out loud. I am definitely a fan of CD Gorri's books. I try to read everything she puts out, but got a little behind and accidentally read Arachne first (also a great book). This book worked as a stand alone, but I recommend reading her other books in order to get to know some of the other characters that pop in from her other books. You won't be disappointed. She's an amazing author.
