Reporting From Savannah
Carlita Garlucci and Pete have finally set a date for their upcoming nuptials and now plans are underway for their engagement party. Autumn Winter, a tenant of one of Carlita's apartment units and friend to her daughter, Mercedes, has just landed the job of her dreams with channel eleven news and has been given a prime segment assignment interviewing local restaurant owners in the historic district of Savannah...her first interview with be Carlita at Ravello's, Carlita's family restaurant!!! If the interview goes well, the station will likely add her as a reporter to the news team, much to the dissatisfaction of chief reporter Brock Kensington!!!
The interview goes well and everyone is sure that Autumn will receive the job offer and be the host of the segment. Mercedes and Autumn go out to celebrate this exciting news, but joy is short lived as they encounter Brock as they are leaving a local jazz club where Brock makes it clear he will see to it that she is never offered the position. A few hours later, Brock Kensington is found dead and the fingers of guilt point directly at both Autumn and Mercedes!!!! Can Carlita solve the mystery of who killed Brock Kensington before Autumn and Mercedes are found guilty of murder?

Great Fun Book & a Wonderful Series!!!
Hotshot in Savannah is book #18 in Made in Savannah Mystery Series.
I love this book and this series. When Autumn and Mercedes are prime suspects in a murder of the local hotshot news anchor, Brock Kensington. Carlita Garlucci and the whole family need to figure out who is the killer ASAP. Hotshot in Savannah is so exciting full of mystery, twists & turns, romance and humor. It's a fun fast-paced read that keep me gluing to my seat trying to find the killer from the beginning to the end. This book is well written and truly entertaining with interesting and lovable characters. I highly recommend it and all of Hope Callaghan's books to any cozy mystery fan. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and hoping to read more of the crossover book between this series and the Millie's Cruise Ship Mysteries series soon.

In the delightful mystery Hotshot in Savannah, pretty, personable and photogenic Autumn Winter is given her time to shine in a new pilot program on Channel 11. Unfortunately there are conflicts with wild party man Brock Kensington. Hope Callaghan’s dynamite introduction immediately has the reader hooked in the Who dun it murder mystery. Use of literary techniques keeps the plot moving – flashbacks to Elvira and the Cruise Ship series, red herrings, conflicts, and foreshadowing to the December wedding of Carlita and Pete the Pirate. This animal lover enjoyed the interaction between Pete’s parrot Gunner and Carlita’s dog Rambo. Arm chair travel to Savannah, Georgia from the comfort of your warm home. Bed Breakfast and......
Absolutely love this book! Ms. Callaghan sure knows how to write a long-term series that keep the reader engaged. The characters are varied, yet you learn a little more about each one as the books continue. It was nice to know Mercedes has actually sold some books that she’s been writing in her bedroom! I never would’ve thought utilizing a search engine could be dangerous. But, nowadays who knows! I love the romance between Carlita And Pete and the fact that they’re finally engaged. Can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Well Hope Callaghan you’ve done it again. Now I have to impatiently await your next Savannah book to really Get the Rest of the story. This was an absolute amazing story and it has left me needing more as usual. The mystery of Savannah has all the twists and turns one needs to keep on reading. I just Love your books. Please hurry with the next book. LoL Such a Great read for anyone who Loves Good clean mysteries with especially trying to figure out The Who, what, when and where of this one.

Carlita Garlucci has a knack for finding out information and connecting the dots, aided by her friends and family. This is another fun to follow episode that they need to figure out who murdered the reporter before Mercedes and Autumn take the fall.

“How did Kensington die?” Carlita braced herself for the answer. “He was shot in the back of the head,” Steve Winter said. “I can see the news headlines running with this story…‘Hotshot Reporter Shot Dead.’”
Autumn was the primary suspect in this story and she and Mercedes were even arrested and held in custody overnight until their bond was set. Since Carlita knew that neither lady was the killer, she immediately began searching and researching all people that may be the killer.
The heat was on Autumn and the Garlucci family due to the fact not only was Autumn’s partial fingerprint found on the murder weapon, but also due to the Garlucci’s family’s past of mafia affiliation. That and the fact that Mercedes writes books about criminals, therefore her internet search history is full of questions such as how to hide a body and other ways to get away with murder. Since the police saw her search history, she appeared even more guilty.
Mercedes solved this crime by following her hunger. Just her craving for a strawberry crumble helped a crime be uncovered and following that the killer was also located.
Cute read and I always enjoy reading about the Garlucci family, friends, and the city they live in.

Unfortunately, the other reporter already there, makes a complaint against her and starts stalking her jobs. After a public run in outside a night club, he is found dead early the next morning, and Winter is the main suspect. Carlotta and Mercedes know Winter is innocent, so start an investigation of their own.

Hope Callaghan always delivers a great read and this book is no exception! This time Autumn is the prime suspect in a murder. Since Carlita knows her friend isn’t guilty, she sets out to discover the identity of the real culprit. Highly recommended, as are all books by this author! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

Love the characters in the Made in Savannah series that are all brought together reeling the reader in for an exciting, fun and tasty journey; all the while the mystery unfolds leaving the reader wanting to follow along with the family.

Another Great Adventure
This series is the perfect blend of a great mystery and solid characters with stories spotlighting strong family values. It as much the values as the enchanting reasoning that solves the crime. LOVE THIS SERIES!
I’ve enjoyed every single book in the Book Savannah Series! Only problem is I always read the entire book the day I download it, then have to wait patiently until the next!

Love the Garlucchies
I am a huge fan of Hope Callaghan. I love everyone of her series the Garluchis are my favorite I have never been to Savannah but certainly would love to now. The characters and the story line had me glued to this adventure. I can hardly wait for the next Savannah adventure

Great Read
I love this series and have read every one. I always look forward to the next one. Keeps you guessing til the end. Hope Ciallaghan is a wonderful writer and all her series are great. I have read each series and look forward to reading more. I can't put them down once I start reading. I highly recommend her books.

A fantastic book
I love these books, Hope really draws her readers in to the story. The characters are great and you can relate to them as lovely people. The books are good clean and funny. Although this one not only made me chuckle but feel both sad and a bit angry in places. It is well worth five stars as are all Hope's books.

Exceptional!
I love the Made In Savannah series! Great storyline, great characters. Good, clean fun reading. I have also read the Garden Girls series, the Sweet Southern Sleuths, the Shipboard mysteries, and the Divine series. All excellent reads! Highly recommend! Rated 5 stars. I can’t wait till the next book is released. 😊

I had no clue
This one had me guessing until the end. What surprised me almost as the perp was that Elriva wasn't obnoxiously in trouble, which was a nice change.
I look forward to the next edition to see if Carlita actually marries Pete. If they do marry, it will be interesting to find out where they go on their honeymoon and if anyone dies. 😎

Another GREAT read!
Characters in these books are multi dimensional and fun. Once I start reading these series, I'm hooked. A friend is implicated in a murder so while also planning her engagement party, Carlita and her daughter set out to clear the girl's name, only to get caught up in another big crime!

Yummy recipe at the end of the book!
Reading any book by Ms.Callaghan is a treat and this one is no exception. Another great read, funny, suspenseful, surprising and thoroughly delightful with a surprising climax that you won't see coming. If you enjoy reading books that take on a rollercoaster ride, this one will have you hanging on and leave you happily drained in a good way.

Absolutely entertaining
Hope your books are ones I cannot put down. If I start reading them I usually finish within 24 hours. They are mysterious fun fascinating and very enjoyable. There are twist and turns around every corner. I hope you continue with this series along with the cruise ship they keep you wanting more.

Wonderful story of family who come together to prove thier family were not killers!!

Wonderful as usual.
I love all of Hope's books. I like that I could read them to my grandkids and not worry about it. I would recommend her books, and have, to anyone that likes to read.

Delighted & heartbroken
Loved it !- BUT.... I'm so very sad that I've finished it already !! I don't know how the author does it so well every time
but she manages to do it ! And now I'm counting the days , weeks and months until the next one hits the market .

A murder in Savannah comes close to home for, Carlita.

I am really a fan of Hope Callaghan. I must admit that I am partial to the "Made in Savannah" series, though all of them are good. I hope she keeps putting them out the way she has been.
