I use recipes from this book more in the winter than in the summer and they are very tasty. Overall I like the book, but it bothers me that the recipes are not seasonal and often mix summer and winter squash (along with other mismatched veggies) in the same recipe. I have made exceptions and tried a few of the dishes and they are certainly tasty, but it doesn't make me feel good to use some of them.
