Evie is an air head
This story was entirely too long, but the bigger issue was the character Evie. She literally just let things happen to her. If some one kissed her or put their hands down her pants she just let them do it and acted as if she had no free will. She had a sexual encounter of some sort with all the main characters, some didn't even make sense. Also, she was just dumb; walking around naked and acting surprised if someone was turned on or like she had nothing to do with or "but he's gay, kinda, so it doesn't matter....oh no he's touching me and I don't know why!!??!!, it can't be b/c I'm prancing around naked pressing my body to his or can it...I just don't know!!!" OMG! girlfriend was a real idiot. She got involved in a threesome b)c she had no backbone and just let J do whatever he wanted. I disliked her so much I was hoping that everyone end up with someone except her. PURE DUMBNESS

Awesome book!
This was a awesome book and the characters were fantastic and entertaining. The journey was through the lives of Pipe and Jay and Evie and Cynthia was awesome. The highs and lows drew you in and you wanted to keep reading. But the end left you hanging and wanting to know what happens to Pipe and Cynthia. Does Ms Elaine and Mr Shaw get together and does Jay and Evie make it. I loved the chemistry between Jay and Evie it was smoking hot 🔥 and intense. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed.

Evie, Jay, and Pipe. Just wow! This book had so much to it, I don't know if I can effectively summarize the goods. The three have been friends for years and are 20 year olds living their lives as best friends. Jay has been in love with Evie since elementary school and she him with Pipe knowing from both of their perspectives without breaking confidences. Only at this time, feelings are finally uncovered and we get to go along for the ride while Evie feels her way through her sexuality, desires, her protective nature, and love. Unexpectedly, Pipe, who likes men, admits he has a thing for Evie and he's her dream guy aside from Jay. Reading it play out was satisfying in so many ways but also a bit disappointing in others. A fourth character, Cynthia is in the mix and I didn't especially like what the author did with her very bruised character in the end. I thought we went from roommate, to partner in a threesome, to friend, to obsessed stalker too quickly and unnecessarily, at least as to the last.
It deals with tough topics, is emotion tugging, and complex. Sometimes I wondered what for and felt that certain information could be left out so that the book focused more on other things, but it was a great read.
All in all, I loved Pipe, was impressed with Jay's persistence and Evie's self restraint, and mostly rooted for their friendship when everything was all said and done. The book ends with Evie and Jay engaged but with a spark for her and Pipe even though they don't get too far in this book.

A memorable love and friendship
I loved all the characters, E is my fave. I don't really like MM books but I'd read Pipe's. I think I might love him. I've finished the book but I still can't get over what Jay did. I'm a strong empath. It still affects me like I lived it..😔 I was truly understanding of everything except when I found out he was still sharing what was mine! I'm just so salty about it Fracking diabolical behavior J. Not cool. I will NOT be using one of my wishes to make you a real boy!! KW can you tell TR to hurry with YEARN! I have a feeling that I might just use one of my wishes on DOM.

More please!
This was such a wonderful and complicated story. Evie and Jay were definitely meant to be together, but the intense connection they each had with Pipe left some questions. I can understand why Pipe was so confused about his feelings for Evie. There should be a sequel - I feel like these feelings still need to be resolved, and we need to know how Kush and Saka help Pipe with the maniac who tortured him. And no way did the crazy roommate just disappear! What happens with her? I have so many unanswered questions...

My Goodness !!
Beautiful, sassy, intelligent Evie with a heart of gold… everybody wants a piece of Evie 🤪, but Jay the Hot Heisman , had claimed her since they were children. After he messed up big time and she finally locked her down with an engagement ring, when she finally forgave him, no way he will let any man near her. But what of Pipe and all his confusing feelings ?!
The three Musketeers and their friendship is beautiful.
Can’t wait to see what happened next !

The Weird & Strange World of Dr. Who!!!
Love Kenya Wright's stories, but this one is a little too much for me to comprehend the lives that these characters live. Call me "Vanilla", but I can't. The characters sexual escapades are so out of this world. Removed all the weird sexual scenes and what you see is a story of love, pain, betrayal, brokenness, healing, and the strength of friendship. Sorry America, but personally, the other stuff is not my scene and is a bit too raw for me. Nevertheless, I loved the story behind the story.

Long
This book was just long. I read the same thing farther in the book that I read earlier in the book. I got sick of reflections. I got so bored, I got antsy. I am sick of ready Ms. Wright long, drawn out, boring books. If she writes a book that gets to the point, I would probably stroke out. I got so sick of those kids. Malcolm was a paedophile. Dirty b#####d!!!! Was Jay mental? He had girlfriends but didn't want mentally challenged Evie to have anybody.

The title doesn't lie. It's complicated
This book had me in knots. It had such a complicated love..I don't even think triangle is the right word for this. There were so many sides. I loved Jay, Evie,and Pipe. They were the best of friends. True ride or dies but even that couldn't stop the attraction Pipe has for Evie. I'm not really into books that deal with theesomes or poly relationships but this book was so well done that I couldn't stop reading. Kenya Wright did an absolutely amazing job with this story and the characters. This story will get you out of your comfort zone but still put you at ease because its so well written. I hope there is a part two to this because there is still so much left to tell.

More like 3.5. Books 1 and 2 were off the charts crazy and I’d read them about a decade ago, so it was nice to revisit. Book 3 was darker and altogether more angsty. Evie seemed to lose her edge and her sense and at times seemed wilfully ignorant of the dynamic between her, Pipe and Jay.
The dialogue did get repetitive after a while - it could have been much shorter with the same results. But all in all, a crazy caper.

Where do I start! This is a new author to me and what a writer she is, I loved the characters it was a long book of which I usually get bored half way through and find something else to read but no she did not disappoint, hopefully there’s another book to come, so download it’s a must read

Too much
It was just too much going on. I typically like Kenya Wrights books, but this may be the worse I have read. The title is correct. The characters are complicated, confused and conflicted!!!! Evie seemed like a normal girl, but seemed to be down for whatever and with whoever. The story was entirely too long for the plot. Some of the fat should have been trimmed.

Oh wow… i’ve never felt so conflicted giving a book of four ⭐️. Mainly because I thought that the coupling of the MC‘s MMF. They are so beautiful together in the dynamics. I wish the author took it that way so we could see Pipe, Jay, and Evie actually have a strong bond with a loving relationship in the end!!!

This started off so well but eventually went off the rails. I loved Jay and Pipe and Evies friendship. However when things got complicated it really got complicated. I need a follow up on if Jay got drafted, dis he and Evie get married, WTH happened to pipe and best of all, where is Cynthia!?

I did not enjoy this book, DNF. Evil was insufferable, I couldn’t take her dragging Jay along. Pipe and Evie were horrible friends to Jay, I really wanted Hay to throw them the deuces and banish them from his life. I was also sick of him begging Evie. Just a long drawn out story, with no real point and no direction. I simply couldn’t finish.

This story had me coming out my feelings. The dynamic between the 3 friends kept me wanting more. This can't be the end. I need to know what happens to Malcolm. I Need to know that he gets what he deserves. Please tell me this is not the end. The title was such a good fit for this story. Nevertheless I loved this story.

I enjoyed this book. Kenya Wright has never written a book that I haven’t enjoyed. I will say at times the 3 main characters pissed me off and I wanted to reach into the book and slap them but I loved them at the same time. I would love to read a sequel and find out what happens next.

I love this author and have read almost all of her books. After reading this book, I realized the story was complicated as indicated by the title. I still enjoyed this book even though at times the heroine Evie was wishy-washy. Absolutely loved Pipe & Jay. I hope Pipe gets his own HEA.

Love and friends
Evie, Jay, Pipe. Their complicated and twisted journey gave me laughter, tears, and anger. Their steps intense and dramatic, and very emotional. I love all three and I'm very scared for their futures. This was a great read.

So Captivating!
I just love how Kenya Wright writes. She tells a story in such a way that has you feeling like you know the characters, but not so much that they don't surprise you. I loved watching Jay, Evie and Pipe develop and grow. I felt so connected to them.

Interestingly Complicated
This was an adventure! The title of the book is aptly named. Strong bonded friendships, steamy scenes, and the darkness that you may bring unknowingly into your life, is spread throughout this tale. I enjoyed the ride!

Well Done Ms. Wright, Well Done…
Been a fan of this author for years, yet have had so little time to get back into reading her works. Sooo glad I did. This had it all, from the feels to the awkward, the scandalous to the smoking hot, and back to the feels. Hhh, loved it all.
