As some of us find ourselves in middle age and still in complete surprise as to how we came this far, these wonderful, funny, and amazing short stories bring us back to a time in our lives that embody our youth, and the crazy things that we all did. Inside of each one of these great stories I remembered memories of my own youth. The memories of dear old dad with a bowl of radishes from his garden, a shaker of salt, and a Schlitz resonated with me. These stories about the shenanigans of the dinkweeds will make you chuckle and smile. Gary’s tear touched me to do the same. A wonderfully written book of stories that will find your heart and your funny bone and leave you wanting more.
