3.25 stars. Someone who can control people’s minds tried to come at Moon Knight. Bad move on their part. Decent.

REALLY solid followup. With a guy who can control people with his sweat, nasty ass mofo. But coming at Moon Knight? You best not miss.

Also, the art, is stunning.

Finally. Jed MacKay gets it. Way too many writers leans so heavily into the multiple personality aspect of the character that it overrides everything else. This is off to an amazing start and I love the idea of the Midnight Mission and I'm glad to see MK actually starting to get what (I assume) is going to be a stable cast of interesting supporting characters.

This gets an extra star because the art is just that good. I enjoyed the story in #1 better but intrigued enough to pick up next month's and see what happens next. This version has Moon Knight a little more serious, kind of a throwback to the original character as I understand with some dark humor mixed in. Definitely enjoying the noir/detective vibes.

Man, this was great.

Jed Mackay really captures Marc's voice well. Through the framing of Marc having set up the Midnight Mission he's able to mix monster of the week tales within a larger mythos. The stories are progressing, yes, but we're still getting these brilliant little flashes of tension. In this story there are groups of elderly people attacking and killing other innocents. Mr. Knight can't just kill the elderly - after all, they aren't in control of their own actions. What will he do?

All the while at the edge of everything is Hunter's Moon. He claims to wish to break Moon Knight's faith. There's also the ongoing question of whether or not Moon Knight himself is well. His very brain has been permanently changed by his contact with Khonshu. Is he in control? Well - is he less in control than is usual? This is setting up some really great stuff. Can't wait for more.

Comic book fans are so unserious because they always whine about movies/shows not being "more like the comics" and then you read the comic and it has a bunch of geriatrics attacking people because some guy is controlling them because they drank his sweat...I want whatever they're smoking. Anyway, one star for the famous crescent dart licking panel

Pale Moonlight

A quick bit of suspense, dealt with in a tidy fashion. The main conflict of this story was wrapped up with a fun, trippy sequence that sets this character apart from the other street level fighters.

I'm genuinely loving Moon Knight after these 2 issues! The whole licking a mind controlling man's sweat wasn't expected but the story as a whole was great! Loved the art especially during the pages that took place inside Moon Knights mind.

There is strange attack on the street and a young man was injured. He came to the moon mission and said he didn’t fought back because he was attacked by old people and one of them was his mom.

Moon Knight went to the building and found out who is behind the attack.

Another good story.

This was really good. It can be refreshing to see a relatively self-contained story in a single issue. I say “relatively,” because you are lead to believe it’s a machination of Hunter’s Moon’s plot to get at our dude, Mark. I also like Mark’s development of protecting - certain - vampires.

Love it, keep it up Jed!

Moon Knight takes on a guy who can control people with his swear. Odd but cool. Great art of course.

Moon Knight

Book 2 was pretty good. New villain able to control people with his sweat. Cool and gross. But no match against M.K. mind.

Very Goood

It is very complex. It did a good job of what Moon Knight and Reese are going through at times.

Using his chaotic mind as a prison for his enemy? Very creative problem solving right there.

I am going to confess I only picked up the new run because of the Disney+ series. I have been a fan of Moon Knight for a long time but I have been a bit lax in Comic books over the past few years. Thankfully I am glad I did.

The story is a brilliant one. It is perfect for fans old and new. The art work is beautiful, if a little dark at times. I am excited to see how it all ends.

A really fun issue, although the fact that elderly people - mostly - are being used against Moon Knight is tough. How does he fight his way out without harming, or killing, innocents? And regardless of what that does to his reputation, Marc is not interested in fighting, or injuring, elderly people who are simply being used as human weapons against him.

I really enjoyed him figuring it out, even though he uses his wit instead of his fists: superheroes don't have to fight first when it doesn't work for them. Moon Girl didn't, and neither does Moon Knight here, so I'm enjoying seeing his gambit and how it worked out for him. I wouldn't even call it a risk, as he knew what would happen, but there's always a chance a plan fails, even if the risk is minimal. This felt more gambit than risk, and it was a brilliant move.

Nice to see him think instead of just being crazy or punching things, to be honest.
